What supp do you run while on trt for prostate support?.. the market is flooded with promises..thanks
Was just going to post this question. My dad is 62, and just started TRT through his doctor. His recent bloodwork showed his PSA was high, and the doctor freaked out. What supp do you run while on trt for prostate support?.. the market is flooded with promises..thanks
Great point. This makes you wonder.keep estrogen down, maybe run nolva occasionally...new info shows estrogen to be more of a culprit than dht...they are researching with serms as alternate treatment to prostate cancer.
the research is with serms, not AI's. occssionally running nolva should take care of issues if the new research is to be trusted....lots of info, google it and tell me what you think!!!Great point. This makes you wonder.
What is worse for you health? Elevated estrogen....or the use of an AI (HDL, bone density)
The AI hate is real nowadays, but it makes me wonder if the elevated estrogen from lack of an AI is worse...
Have you had bloodwork done? What supp do you run while on trt for prostate support?.. the market is flooded with promises..thanks

Yes sir. False high PSA can occur from sex/ejaculation, bike/motorcycle riding, or other groin aggravation such as lower body workouts, up to 48-72 hours before blood draw.I was told by my dr PSA test is a waste of time and money.. gotta get probed to really check the prostate
imo, breast cancer gets all the attention which means research dollars. they have made amazing progress in breast cancer treatment...maybe it's time for athletes to wear YELLOW ribbons?Watching this thread. My dad had prostate cancer twice and it all started the first time with his inability to control going to urniate and high PSA numbers and biopsy confirmation. He was 67 the first time. It came back a few years later: without a prostate! And he survived it the second time.
He has his prostate removed and chose to be impotent after the first scare.
As a a result, I am a bit worried about ever doing TRT because of the 'cancer scares'. I've been reading about the current research for the last 10 years and most of it is saying 'forget using the PSA' and also that doctors are 'too easily happy to cut out the prostate'... If they're not cutting, they're not making money, right? I'm 43 and my numbers don't warrant TRT yet, but I will likely be there soon.
I'm going to watch this thread to see how you guys are handling the prostate issue related to TRT.
Cheers.

Your Doctor needs to read up on the newest research. Low testosterone and high estrogen promote PCa.Any of you guys on TRT in this thread have any concerns, or were told of any by your doctor, about TRT and prostate cancer?
