No groups so raiding lvl 3s I’m guessing?

I’m biking in the day now (on Afternoons) and getting in a good 3-5 raids daily when I hit downtown, every Aerodactyl and Machamp I find plus whatever groups I can plan a legendary with, hit or miss

I havent even been getting off work in time to do any... not even a level 1 for at least two weeks :( I have 3 golden raz left.

Ah that does suck because this event has been good. Try to sneak in a double/triple if you get an hour on the weekend and take a shot at shiny HoOh

So, these Switch games...
Trading between your mobile PoGo is confirmed but may be limited. It would basically let me advance my PoGo account while I’m at home if I play?

Depending on the level of integration I may buy a switch. Like... if I can load pokemon from one to the other, or walk my buddy, or if I could earn a shared resource (dust? Pokecoins?)

I kinda got the impression that the trade/move only goes from go to switch... didn’t see anything go the other way if I remember. Either way they do look entertaining

The only Ho-Oh raid I’ve done since the return!

Also got a shiny aero earlier in that same day. Otherwise tho still a complete bust for either of the shiny fossils, Aron or anything else ha

not a shiny ho, but a 100% IV ha

yeah i apparently spent all my luck on that as I've only had like 5 of those tasks and the 3rd was the shiny... 400+ each of both kabuto and omanyte tho without a single shiny tho is infuriating...
 
I’m on 4 shiny omanytes now, zero Kabuto with over 600 caught... and no Aron with almost 850 caught

That 100 is much rarer than a shiny, glad you got a good one out of the raids you could do.

HoOh is still around a few days but I think Lati is done today, we’ll see if the next one pops after 5 today as they sometimes do

Went out for a walk at lunch and added more of nothing to my shiny count ha... I just want one damn kabuto... or aron ha

Got there, popped an egg, loaded the lobby, 20s out my phone goes black.
Run to my car, plug it in, it’s at 60% so I’m wondering wtf...
Rejoin and I’m alone in the lobby.
I can see by their hands they all started loading the catch sequence already.
Sped home grumpily.

ugh thats miserable about the ex... the local chat groups in ATL have been unbelievably organized in the ex raids... setting up multiple waves, jumpin in and out to ensure enough people for the entire duration of the raid in case of any stragglers showing up, etc... its near impossible to miss it in that area... unfortunately I never get passes since i barely get to raid ha (and when I do it never seems to be at ex raid eligible gyms)

You should've given me your login for an evening so I could run around and hit you a giant pile of new stops with an egg and got the 1mil xp in no time ha...

Saw there was a guy who went 0-4 in a few days by hitting ONLY stops. literally only had his starter mon. Insanity. (also, someone has way too much free time and way too few friends ha)
 
That’s a nice offer but I’ve come this far myself I have to see it through!

It’s 4k per new spin on an egg, in downtown areas like NYC, Tokyo... I can see that 1-40 but what a terribly weak lvl 40 account lol

Yeah apparently the guy did it in Germany and from being there I can tell you the density of European cities makes it waaayy more reasonable. You could hit a few hundred stops in a very short time in a historic city like Berlin or Munich (I’ve done it ha)

That last mil will go fast ;) any plans for any special way to finish it off? Me and a buddy did our both at a mewtwo raid ha

Kyogre to return today...

The shiny is pretty ridiculous looking so I want it, but would have been far happier if the Regis were next

Congrats man! Yeah haha I'm always torn what to do with garbage mons now... to catch or not? to toss all or stockpile a few?... I know if I try to stock, the cap bump wont happen for like years and if I toss them all (which is what I'm doing) it'll happen next month ha.

Had my only kyogre attempt run this weekend. wasn't shiny or good IV but was boosted so that was a bummer.

I cannot keep my mon box cleaned up fast enough to keep up with these events though ha. I try to keep stuff over 90% and evolve occasionally but I've now got such a pile of rocks, fighters, and now waters that it's taking up like 3/4 of my 1400 space... and now with the CD event this weekend im gonna have to spend an hour or two culling the heathens ha
 
Yeah I’m lazy to IV checking... I dump my lowest 3/4 CP of each then check what’s left

Iphone has no app that will work in app, Jana can IV check easily 10x as fast as I can.

I’m just on a 950 pokemon capacity and I sink it back down to 500ish each night before starting over.

Not really sure what I’m after now, just very slowly maxing 1 of each mon I either like or use
 
Trading is in this week!

The whole update sounds beautiful. Stardust requirement so it won’t break the game with low level accounts suddenly filling up with high tier mon, re-roll on stats/CP at trade so it’s more ideal just to fill pokedex slots. I worried for balance once trading got in but they did good here.

So,
I have a second phone here if anyone wants to trade I can log you in beside me and make it happen. I have extras of shiny mon or whatever!

The raid bonuses look fun, up to +4 balls if you do the raid with a “best friend” is awesome.

Woo definitely going to have to get in on this! I've got some mr. mimes, heracross, corsola and prob a few shinies that you would like ;) we'll have to figure out the friending thing and build it for a bit tho so it's not 1mil stardust per trade ha.

How'd you do on CD? I ended up with 6 total shiny and one that was like 774cp that is now a 3000+ TTar (with fireblast tho ha)... No good IV's on the shiny's but I did end up with 2 98% and a 96% that I evolved into Smack Down TTars... Didn't have to dump a ton of candy or dust either since they were all high cp to start. Totalled about 1400 candy and am still at 850ish with 4 new 3000+ TTars (including the shiny).

also got a 100 wailmer randomly (was shiny checking and it was 1180cp so I threw a ball at it just becuase and then checked a few min later... also finally got a shiny whale on my way home later that evening - literally 30sec after deciding i'd never get one so I evolved the 100 ha)
 
You’re in my boat then I have a 100 Wailord it’s fun to leave behind in a gym and I drop my shiny sometimes too when I know it is in slot 6

Not great on community day best was a 93 I maxed out with Smackdown/Stone Edge, I took the opportunity to beef up 4 TTARs so candy is already down to 200ish
6 shiny, made one of each evolution and the others are now kept for future trading.

What’s fun about the trading re-rolling stats is that I can now trade a crappy Mewtwo for a crappy Mewtwo and hopefully both end up with a better one, plus one candy

40k dust cost though at max friend level, but I see that tactic being useful if you only have one of something and it’s a low rating

We were talking trades at a raid earlier and it looks like the earliest event mon are the rarest and most wanted. Not one person of 16 of us had the Santa hat Pichu, for example.
I actually have none of the hat Pichus, just everything Pikachu/Raichu

yeah for someone like me that only has 4 and none are above 89%, i'd definitely be willing to give up some dust for an upgrade!

whaaatttt... I have so many of those damn pikachus I throw them away when I need space ha... Have an extra shiny lugia too and neither of the legendaries you have ;)

Man I just looked and I threw away all my duplicates of the even pikas... I have the full set including shiny party hat but no doubles anymore. Had piles of each at one time.

Pichus I have the set but only singles.

Do have an extra karp I can share tho :)
 
I did not plan ahead for this either, deleted a good 20 shinies from past events that would be great to have for trade fodder now. I left myself no extras for dratini/mareep

Regionals:
8 Heracross
2 corsola
5 mr. mime
 
I want a Mime bad but I won’t have the dust requirement, sucks there is no real way to level up our friendship level because we can’t raid together or send gift packs (within 100m)

They showed the requirement being 1,000,000 for a Legendary trade at friend level 1, I expect regional mon will also be steep

Might be tricky but we’ll see how this all works soon I’m anxious for this to pop up

thats the plan... I've been trying to make sure I open your gifts to get the eggs too so I can trade with ATL people ha.

Im also trying to make sure I send people gifts from as far away as possible (you more ATL ones, ATL ppl ones from wherever I travel that week)... its a pretty intricate system to keep track of all the stuff that goes into this whole thing.

one "friend event" per day, only needs to be one person or the other, etc etc... one of my friends down in ATL started a spreadsheet of her friends and whether or not they had sent, opened, raided, etc for each day ha...
 
You almost have to do that with the 20 gift limit, I can skip my raiding group for gifts because doing a raid with a friend counts but that still leaves too many to gift

My best friend is still in China until next year I just need to convince him to play and send me eggs

Heard they’re about to bump poke storage up to 2k as well
