i was watching Mark lobner from scivation make a no carb pancake and i decide to steal part of his recipe and give it a twist.

take 4-5 egg whites put them in blender with cinimon and no calori sweetner to taste.

add serving of psylium husk to blend

pour into skillet an cook like a pancake

put on a plate and spread natural peanutbutter (or not ur choice) on it

toast 100% whole wheat bread and place egg pancake on bread

add a couple of slices of bannaas to that ish

if ya want more protein add whey to the egg blend

and there you go a nice sweet heathy proetein treat that will keep ya regular

hmmm yeah, thats interesting, never really thought of adding psyllium to egg whites like that. Hows the texture of the "pancake" ?

I've tried it, it looks like a pancake, but it tastes like egg - I bought some "big train" buttermilk low carb pancake mix, and some "walden farms" zero calorie syrup - really just for cheat meals, but they're delicious!!!

I usually make 2 servings at a time, which is:

P - 22G
C - 24G (10 from Fiber, so really its 14G)
F - .5G

+ 1 TBSP EVOO
+ 1 EGG

So it ends up being something like:

P - 28G
C - 14G
F - 14G (From EVOO)

I would like to get a little unflavored Protein powder and add around 1 scoop, try to get the protein to around 50G, but I haven't done this yet.

lol yeh it looks like a pancake but taste just like effin egg...i was dissapointed in that aspect wen i first made them but hey its the nutrition that counts.....as for the "walden farms" low carb pancake mix i definetly think im goin to git me some of that sounds tastey!

actually I just made some with another recipe I found, using almond meal, an egg, some water and oil. didnt turn out bad, had a nice taste to it, texture was a little off. probably under 8g net of carbs for 4 big pancakes

hmm that actually sounds tastier than adding psylium husk and problably yields the same amount of fiber too ....i never heard of almond meal before im definitly gonna go look for it
