Prime part deux: A totally different story

Just wanted to provide a bit of a review, and give USP some props.

I took prime for a little over a month 1 year ago... and I wasn't very impressed. To be fair, I can't honestly say that my first run with Prime gave the product a true chance to shine. I stopped after about a month, which for me, just wasn't long enough to see appreciable results. But, I gave it another shot. I'm nearing the end of month number 2 and I'm actually pretty impressed. I've seen some surprisingly fast body comp changes over the last 2 or 3 weeks. My diet and training are on target, but having been involved in some form of resistance exercise for the past seven years I don't believe I can completely attribute the positive effects I've seen solely to my current diet and exercise program. Also, I have been able to keep training intensity & frequency quite high without any negative consequences, even when significantly cutting calories for days at a time. Basically, I feel like a machine... so let me elaborate a bit on what I mean:

Recovery from day to day is great. I'll wake up, hit the gym a few hours later... and then do so again after 3 or more (preferably more) hours have passed. That's Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Tuesday, Thursday, and random days on the weekend I'll go on a high intensity bike ride through the hill country down here; heart rate stays between 160 and 200 bpm for at least 75% of the ride, which can last anywhere from 20 to 45 mins. I have not yet felt the need to slow my training down, or decrease intensity, despite the high volume of work I'm doing.

So, hey USP Labs, job well done!

Cliffs:
  • I tried Prime a year ago for about a month and didn't care for it, most definitely due to my lack of patience at the time.
  • Gave it another try, about to enter 3rd month on Prime.
  • Despite being hypocaloric for days at a time and engaging in a ton of exercise, I have yet to feel or show symptoms of overtraining.
  • Noticing supraphysiologic body comp changes within the last 3 weeks... and onward.
  • 9 caps/day = average dose for last 2 months

Thanks for taking the time out OB...

GREAT feedback from you on this one. With the increase to 800mg per capsule, most users saw greater results on the same dosing.

Great point here. Experience is the key in this game. You know what works for you...

You cant train hard without being recovered... We need to change your name now, to MACHINE...

Thanks for the positive words boro!

On most all days I rotate between 2 types of meals, having 3 or 4 meals per day on average. Meal 1 is a bit higher in carbohydrates, so I usually try to keep it reserved for post workout or upon waking. Also, once or twice a week - depending on energy levels and just feeling freakin' hungry - I'll take in about 1500 calories all at once from some sort of high carb / high protein cheat meal.
  • Meal 1 - Chicken + olive oil/mayo + high fiber whole-wheat flat bread = 400-500 calories
  • Meal 2 - Tuna + broccoli + olive oil = 300-400 calories

BTW, I probably should have mentioned that I've been using the 600mg version of Prime for the length of this run.

Ok I was just about to suggest that maybe the 800 mg made the difference...just think of what 800 mg will do. I just went up 7.5 lbs and I am slightly leaner (actually more than slightly) then I was 4 weeks ago. I did 2 weeks of 5 800 ed 3 600 extra on workout days then 2 of 7 800 ed and 3 600 on wd. My intention was to gain this over 11 weeks and I did it in 4.. I still have 7 weeks left and I am ramping the dose every 2 weeks :13:

7.5lbs in a month really makes the Gym fun again!

You said it .. especially them being this high quality cuz I appear to have lost at least 2 lbs of fat also. Damn Freaky is what it is. HST and increase in BCAA's deserve some to the credit but damn!!
