pp vs dbol...

i have read that dbol would be the equivalent to pp (correct?)

so if one would be to hypothetically compare the 2...

let's say at an average dose, for 4 weeks (dbol 30mgs...pp 30mgs ?) - I have never used pp so i'm not sure...

assuming it's the same person, same diet/training...what would be GENERAL predicted gains (comparatively) off these 2 compounds...

(ie. I've heard pp is more of a cutter, so the gain would be less but more quality?)
 
I dont think you could compare the 2 as one is a really wet compound with big strength gains ( Dbol ), and PP is pretty dry with great but steady strength gains. So i def dont think you can compare the 2 togethor.

Technically pp is similar to all anabolic steroids in that it mimicks the effect that testosterone has on certain recptors in your endoctrine system. Each steroid has a unique receptor affinity profile. PP is most similar to other progestins, but still maintains its own antagonistic profile.

really? wow. i thought that dbol would have more strength and size gains. Size goes to dbol though? My strength has been impressive on 25mg pp and I havent got much water retention that alot of others have. I would say it is more on the dry side as dbol is purely wet. Irish what did you get off of 40mg dbol and what type were they?
 
If you control the dbol water gains most people would be surprised at the quality of gains from dbol. Most people don't think of it as a cutting drug ether but it is actually only slightly less anti-carbolic then tren. So a lot of times when people compare it to other drugs they don't differentiate from the bloat and the actual gains made with it. If you completely remove the bloat part from the equation (hard to do but it is possible) what you typically get are fairly lean gains, actually somewhat more so then test. As this requires a very strict diet (bloat control is best through diet) and a strong AI it may not be worth it to a lot of people (I don't mind the bloat myself) but it is an interesting note on the nature of the drug.

Also the idea that you lose all the gains you made with dbol, even as a dbol only cycle is pure nonsense. Muscle is muscle, differentiating only in tone and fat content. This is really another result of people not differentiating between gains and bloat, the bloat goes away after you stop taking the drug.

I have never used PP so I couldn’t tell you how it compares to the above. Sorry to have hopped on the soap box :D
 
I have used PP at 30 mg a day and did not see much of a strenght gain, I did put on about 15 pounds and kept about 10. But my strenght was far better when I was on superdrol. Although I've never tried D-bol (not by choice :rolleyes: ) I did try M14ADD which is a similar PH, and the strenght gains were incredible and almost instant.

To me PP is mild at best, but then again every individual has different reactions.

I feel the same way...allthough it can be very hard to control bloat with the amount of food you need to eat while on cycle which contributes to bloat. However I've been taking dandelion root and that has helped a ton with water weight. I didn't realize it would help this much

haha, i thought you weren't bloating. it's okay, it helps remind you that you are ON.. beside the insane libido.. DBOL = Sex Drive on Steroids.

I've started to bloat a bit this last week, a little in the face too...which sucks, but the dandelion root has helped quite a bit, the more the better with this supplement.
 
looks like i need to pick up some dandelion root...how much are you guys taking, and how many times per day

I'm taking doses of 1-1.5 grams about 4 times a day. This stuff is extremely cheap
 
I didn't get much of anything on PP. Strength went up a tad and weight didn't increase at all. I got much better gains off Superdrol.
 
thank you about the comment of bloat. i took a-50 for the very first time at only 25 mgs per day and was made an ass of by many poeple on the forum. i ahve gained very good quality mass on with an extremely small amount of water. if your diet is precise and your receptors are clean ( not to mention pretty good genes) it is very possible. most saturate their receptors instead of finding out that very little goes a very long ways. small note i am a complete **** on the stuff, but besides that no water, no acne what so ever, just good gains with a terrible attitude. i have seen people do small amounts of d tabs right before shows and have been completely shredded. i am in the modeling aspect of it but know my fair share of well known bb's. very very possible
