What do you guys think?

To get your daily intake of a product:
More capsules, less capsules, powders, drinks?

Personally, As long as the price is acceptable to get the effects, I prefer more caps to some degree. I really feel this is the only way to allow for a more precise dosage control by the user.
Example: I LOVE the 10 mg ephedra caps vs. the 25 mg caps...... but the price on that example is plain old unfair.

Please, opinionate, discuss, eugoogalize.

in terms of just capsules I would agree with more caps as many people will have different tolerances.

I personally like powders as they usually seem to get in my system quicker, but I can't have EVERYTHING be a powder b/c that usually ends up being too much water volume before a workout

Pricing aside, I actually prefer powdered products as I like to simply add them to my daily liquid intake. With that said, the convenience of capsules certainly is very nice when you are rarely home like myself and don't wish to carry various containers, even small ones, around all day. But, I guess if there were a convenient way to "baggie" them into individual sizes that would be nice. I guess what I'm saying is that it would be nice to have the option of powedered or encapsulated products. That, however, would probably not be cost effect for a company unless the option was limited to "generally accepted mainstay" type products. But, I guess that's a whole other question in itself.

if i had my way i would have everything caps except maybe my protien, its so much easier and convenient , besides i hate having to chug some disgusting drink when i can just swallow a few pills. i cant count how many jugs of crap have sat in my closet with one scoop used because i cant stand the taste.

Caps are better for me in general, and I think everything I take is capsule with the exception of protein. It sucks because I don't always have the time/convience to lug around water and a shaker cup+powder to take, then i can just put the pills in my pocket and take the accordingly.

depends.
if the supplement tastes like complete ass....then i prefer caps.
if it can be flavored and tastes ok in a drink then i prefer powders.
i know i would get tired of choking down a million pills a day.
a mix of both is a good happy medium for me.

Interesting feedback from you guys- I prefer capsules myself, BUT I have no problem using a powder that mixes well and tastes great!!

What are your favorite flavors?

I agree, we picked up some ephedra @ the 12.5mg. For a box of 32 i think it is or 36.....either way its like 12.99. The old vaso-pro was 25mg @ 48 tabs for 9.99. Dman meth heads

I agree with the more controled doses, but at the same time I like the powder because you can add your own twist to some pre-made supps

I like the bulk powder form the best by far. I can adjust dosage based on my experiences with the supplement, not based on any general suggestion. Taste is not a big deal to me either, I find if I can't just wash it down with water than I parachute it in a small piece of tissue. There is also something cool about mixing your own liquid solution, like with YohimbineHCL, and being able to dose it to your needs instead of being stuck with the capsule contents. Not to mention mixing and matching ingredients and not taking ingredients you don't really want or that are ineffective for you.

i guess i miss understood the poll. I would like smaller doses in the caps for reasons that were stated (more precise and controlled dosing) but if im on a whole bunch of stuff then i prefer less caps of course. Ive been close to filling a 7 day pill container with just one days worth of dosing for supplements, not cool. Powders are good but most of them are just horrible and impossible to down.

Parachute it down ? What's that ?

as a matter of fact the absolute only thing i can take in powder form is my ON whey and scivation xtend , if companies could make there products taste as good as xtend i would be dead broke. and i have attempted to cap some of the powders and all that does is make an irritated bman and a messy house

pills are a pain to dish out, take and carry around. If I could get all my supps in drink form That would be cool but one hell of a shake.

I like, Mocha, chocalate. havent had a good vanilla anything yet. Straberry & watermelon. Usually shoot for those. For awhile i was wick of mixing glutamine so i woukld just eat the spoonfull and follow with a swig of water.

May I change my vote please? :D I voted for less pills, because I was thinking of popping 20 pills a day. However, your cogent argument has convinced me otherwise. I have officially opined on this topic (twice)

Drop the powder into a small piece of tissue on a scale, weigh it up, wrap the tissue around the powder, and swallow it like a pill. It eliminates the horrible taste of some powders.

Ah that's what I thought. It never crossed my mind to swallow powder en mass like that.

There's another point though to be made: Powder does not offer time release like pills do, so there you go.

Yea im with you on the flavors. Have you tried Nectar Cappichino protein, its the sh*t. Mix it with hot water and you got coffee w/ mocha creamer, mix with milk and you got an ice latte', blend with milk & ice and you got a ice latte' smoothie.

Thats the only way i take glutamine now,

I like Extend :) It is awesome post-workout with my protein!!!

My initial response was strong black and sweet but I reemmbered that's how i like my women :)

I like capsules and powder as long as the powder is in a easy to mix form and has no aftertaste of any real lasting amount of time.

Jay,

Capsules with less active, or more active per cap?

Bump for jayhawk to quit trippin' and respond ;) lol

Also,
so Jay... you saying if we can get some high quality extract of Laila Ali or maybe Halle, you'll be a customer for life?

I love powders. If I could take everything in powder form I would be fine with it, lovin it. I don't care about taste at all, thats just not important. Results are what I care about. Same thing with food. Eat for function not for taste.

I wish i could eat for function, not taste.

I am a 400 lb man struggling to stay in a 170 lb body. Baked goods are my arch enemy! Where is Testiculor when I need him?

Hey don't get me wrong, I do not have a perfect diet. During my carb up I do have some "cheat" type foods. If I didn't have any yummy food once in a while I would go insane!.

I like caps much better than powders, just because it's way easier for me to bring pills around than bulk powder and tissue or a shaker cup. I like the way you guys have RPM to where you can easily adjust the dosage by more or less caps, even though I tend to dose a little on the high side. :D

i prefer pills as it's just more convenient to take on the go to work and other places. Lanbane you guys got somethin in the works? sounds like you're tryin to get some feedback for R&D:think:

There is ALWAYS somethin' in the works

I like my supplements in the least expensive form. I really don't care if it tastes like hot garbage because I am a cheap bastard.:bb3:
