Please help bulking- very underweight gained 10 pounds this month

Don't think my quoting worked? lol

To be honest i think the reason you're having issues with your diet is cause its all over the place. Pretty confusing and i doubt youre eating all that stuff consistently

Personally I'd make it easier for myself by making the meals simpler and just by taking an all round simpler approach. I think you're confusing yourself.

Choose your protein of 250g (beef mince/chicken /fish) choose a low gi carb 200-250g (uncle tobys oats/sweet potato/brown rice) and then some EFA's like 2tbsp (flaxseed/macadamia nut oil/avocado/almond butter etc)

Start with 2/2/.5 ratio (protein/carbs/fats) and monitor how youre going. Limit cardio to maybe twice a week for 20 min (just for heart health)

As for training... Lift as heavy as you can while maintaining good form and dont worry about abs right now. Abs on a skinny dude is like tits on a fat chick...

It doesnt count.

Hope this helps a little champ.

Hi thanks for the advie and sorry for the late reply, been really buisy. My diet is nothing like the way it was in the start.
I hit 220g protein, 450g carbs and 70g fat every day by eating similar stuff. I usally have the same breakfast and similar lunch and post workout meals, the only thing that varies is my evening meal. I use myfitnesspal to track everything though.
Training is going well! I can squat 250 pounds now, almost 260!:D

I have been really sick the last week. I have been suffering from sever stomache pains for several months now and have had ultrasound scans and several different blood tests etc but they haven't found whats wrong.
The last week it has been even more sever and I have also had terrible diarrhea essentially ****ting everything out I eat and have been told I cannot eat as much until it goes away. I have been trying to get as close to maintenance cals as possible but I don't want to make it worse plus its extremely painful and inconvenient.
I have dropped 4 pounds in the last week. However I have still been training as usual (actually got a pr for bench) and eating as best I can

I also have Crohn's like Madds and I'd suggest going and getting that camera to peek around inside and see what's goin on.

Can't treat something that's not diagnosed.

Thanks, thats exactly what I'm getting done- I have been refered to a specialist. I'll probably have to wait for ages though- the NHS sucks

I have ben ill and had 2 operatins on a stomache ulser so I'm at 129-130 but feeling much better now, and I finished all 8 of my exams so I will be back to bulking harder than ever!

Sorry to hear about your illness bro. I think that's terrible and I wish you the best of luck. Have you ever considered alternative medicine for your illness? There have been some great studies to this and it shows that it works really well almost 60percent of the time I think its worth a shot. There are some good websites out there for you to check out. IF you have any questions please let me know.

Sorry for the late reply, I've been away and not had proper access to my computer for a while.
Thank you very much. I have had some work done and a colonoscopy and they believe it to be either IBS or Krohns. I will not find out for a while what it is (january is my next appointment) but I would definately consider alternative medicine. IBS seems extremely likely and I hve heard hypnotherapy is a good help.

I had lost more weight and ended up at 124 pounds, but have made my way back to around 129 pounds. I'm on 3100 calories, with a split of around 220g protein, 90g fats and 350g of carbs. I sometimes have higher fat ir higher carbs but that's an average.
Here's some photos. One is straight after the gym with a pump and the others are me at home (hence the joggies and specs haha).

Hey guys I just wanted to thank everybody for all the help since October.
I've been struggling with my bowel condition (still undiagnosed officially but I'm pressumming either IBS or Krohns) but my strength and fitness and overall health are much better,
I'm enjoying life and not afraid to have a beer with friends (and count it to still hit my macros) or a snack outside.
I'm still struggling around the 128lbs point despite eating 3400 cals so I'm just going to keep upping them each week until I get some gains.
My deadlift form is poor due to having long 34" legs and poor mobility/weak core.
I'm working on mobility (foam rolling, stretches etc) and have switched to a sumo style deadlift.
My lifts are:
Deadlift 90kgx6 (I'm working on form so avoiding heavy low reps), Squat 130kg(1rm), Bench 65kg(1rm).
They aren't great lifts but I'm happy with the progress.
My squat is strong and below parallel but not "ass to grass" so I want to get down lower.
Thanks so much guys
