why are some of the thread envelops red, some have fire and some have alot of fire?

what the hell does bump mean in a thread. ie.. bump

what does subbed mean?

what does any other language i have not mentioned mean?
 
Envelopes = how "hot" the topic is, ie participation in the thread.

Bump is a post to bump the thread to the top of the most recent list. For example, before posting this reply, this thread was 7 down in the list. After I hit "reply", it will BUMP to the top as the newest posted-in thread.

Subbed = Subscribed, ie email updates will be sent to the user when new posts are made in the thread. Or, people are interested in this and plan to come back.

Another one - OP - Original Poster, the person who started the thread.
