I think I have a handle for the appropriate sizes! Thank u all. Still a bit confused about how they are sold, u can buy needle only or the whole syringe. What method works best? Do u usually buy a lot of extra to avoid ordering them each cycle?

Depending on your location, you may be able to get them at a local pharmacy. There's only one local place I'm able to get mine and it's a compounding pharmacy. They'll sell the pin/syringe combo by the box. The other pharmacies around here only sell diabetic needles.
I would never personally buy at a local pharma! I wouldn't want to be seen by someone I know. I don't know how would I explain picking up 50 syringes and 100 needles?! lol I PM'd the OP with a really good site to buy 'em at.
Yeah man, I hear ya. I certainly can't argue your point because it makes me nervous every time I go in there to get syringes. I have 2 things going for me though; 1st, I buy in bulk so I rarely have to go. 2nd, they just put in a drive thru a couple months ago and there just so happens to be a lot of silver Toyota Tacomas arouns lol. It's still nerve racking. I use the "get in, get it on, get the hell out" technique. Works well at the bar and also at the pharmacy lol
I've used 18ga before, and it wasn't too bad... just looked scary haha.
I give you props for using an 18g. I use a 20g to draw and a 23g to inject. Well, ran out of 23g the other day and had no time to pick some up today for my injection. Used the 20g instead. Not even going to lie, I was acting like a little girl about it. 23gx1.5" is intimidating enough. My gf does all my pinning and even she was nervous to pin my glutes and she's never had a problem. Got it done and I have to say, it wasn't much worse than the 23g. Just a lot more anxiety involved lol.
Dang, 20 to pin is like a harpoon! At least you had someone else doing it for you because I don't think I'd be able to do that myself! lol

Draw with 22 shoot with 27 1 1/4 long
Dang, I'll bet that takes awhile to inject! I used a 1.5" X 23G for a couple months until I ran out and tried 1.5" X 25G needles. Granted, my gf does my injections, but the 25G takes a lot longer and she'll have indentions on her fingers when she's done. When she injects, no matter what size the needle, she'll inject a little, count to 30, then inject a little more. It usually takes around 6-8 mins as my UGL deca and test are pretty thick. It injects a lot easier with the 23G for sure and I can't really feel much a difference between the 23G and 25G. I'll bet that 27G takes 30 mins to inject lol!
I should clarify... I always draw up with a 27g and just inject... Then simply dispose on it.
6-8 minutes?!! lol Dude, you need to switch to a harpoon! 1ml with 25g should usually take about 15-20 secs.

I like to let it dissipate into the muscle a little at a time instead of just cramming it in. I found it's a lot less painful afterwards that way and I always seem to get several tear drops of solution come out of injection site after removing the pin when I shoot it all at once. When I take my time, I rarely get any solution coming out.
I guess I'm old, I still use the Z-method for injects, lol
Z-method? Enlighten me of this procedure, please sir!
