PES High Volume

^ ^ I went to gym before replays, and take it at 2 scoop to see what it does, have to say I was kind of very calm and relax ,full of energy added extra 5KG to my bench press and super pumps, no side effects. Have to admit it is top notch supplement for those who look for insane pumps.

As you both suggest, I will try it with 1 scoop tomorrow and see the difference, and it will also last longer.

I liked 1 scoop just as much as two... Tubs for days now :)
 
I just started using HV and I'm not even sure if I'm taking the latest version or not, what I am sure tho is that its amazing!!!

I'm cutting now I'm still use ABE as usual lol even last summer I've been taking it and great results :)

If it has the PEScience logo, you have the latest version. The old HV was under Athletix. Either way, I agree that it's amazing. :)

The Athletix product was one of my favourites (apart from taste, I didn't enjoy that).

Athletix were small so people didn't realise the doses of L-Citrulline and agmatine were marketing leading.

Now we have brough it to PES, tweaked the formula with the inclusion of arginine nitrate and swapped the GMS for HydroMax I genuinely believe it is the leading pump product on the market. :)

Plus, it tastes awesome now and doesn't have GMS floating on the top lol.

1h before for HG and the rest like 20min before ;) I am cutting now :)
 
I never went above 1 and always found to have good results
2 would blow me up and feel like a madonna inflatable doll.

Add alphamine and you've got a killer thermopump stack! I usually dose between 1-1.5 scoops depending on the workout.

I'm also a huge fan of this combo. Muscle splitting pumps and my strength and endurance have an incredibly noticeable boost. Plus with the yummy flavor options the combos are unlimited and tasty.
 
Today had 2 scoops of vortex with 2 scoops of high volume. Workout was just mind blowing. High volume tastes very nice and gives great pumps.
 
I couid not workout well my legs because taking 2 scoops of HV was too much for legs sesh loooooool

I cut back the dose a bit on leg days, depending on what I have planned. I learned my lesson after thinking my legs could explode doing high rep leg press/leg ext supersets. :eek:

exactly, I was doing super sets.... unmanageable :)

Glad I am not alone when it comes to legs and dialing back

The pump
Hurts too much in some variations

Timed legpress sets
Banded leg press drop sets
Banded back squats
1.5 squats with a slow concentric

Reverse hacks are brutal too
Of course with some meadows intensity techniques :)

Yeah, I love a an intense leg pump, but sets like this = 1 scoop session.

Hey do u guys rec high volume on a cut? Any reason it would keep one from maximizing lean/dryness?

Used it whilst bulking with great results but not sure I can recall water retention or not from GMS

I don't see any reason why it would keep you fro max your cut cycle, I am cutting right now and I am using it all days :)

Agreed. I love it while cutting, as I don't feel so tiny when training. :)

1 scoop of this beats most other products on the market at full doses. We weren't joking when we said many will just want one scoop. :)

Definitely learned that lesson the hard way. Jumped right into two scoops... Got a massive pump from stretching and warmup sets like wtf haha and I'm only 165 soo definitely only need 1 scoop.

ok I will give up guys.... its not gonna be possible again..... even 1 scoop for leg day, in my case, is too much, I couldn't train properly, loooooooooool I mean, I love this stuff but not for leg day ahahahah then i was walking through the gym, a friend of mine arrived and told me "u doing chest?" ahahah i was doing legs! but i was so swollen everyfu**where that he thought i was doing chest ha!
 
LOL.

Those feels when you are doing legs but your chest is more swole than the chest bros at the gym....

I usually avoid HV for leg day and just use ergonine

this i do love good quad pumps but not at the cost of performance, half a scoop might do the trick maybe

i think nitrates are the best for leg day the pumps from them don't seem to effect performance as much as pumps from the glycerol (hydromax) in contracting the muscle which is what i enjoy. but 2 scoops is awesome on bro days for doing arms and shoulders or chest days :D

Is the competition for absorption for L-arginine and agmatine a problem in this formula? Does L-citrulline compete with agmatine as well? Been taking HV for a while now, but just thought of this.

Agmatine's oxidative inactivation of the nitric oxide synthase enzyme (seen in this study with nNOS with a Ki of 29µM) is due to increasing the activity of the NADPH oxidase subunit[116] which arginine is known to hinder for nNOS[117][118] yet appears to increase activity for iNOS and eNOS.[346][117] In this sense, arginine is antagonistic to the effects of agmatine towards nNOS (a possible reason why supplemental arginine inhibits many neurological effects) but does not affect eNOS in the same manner.

It is not sure whether pairing either of these two agents with arginine will enhance systemic nitric oxide production (via eNOS; the mechanism underlying most of the blood pressure effects) or be antagonistic; both are plausible, with the former being due to increased nitric oxide production from eNOS and the latter due to quicker inactivation of the enzyme."

So it seems like for NO production there is not an issue and may even be synergistic, but it might inhibit other benefits of Agmatine?
