I have a question... Are you guys owned or related to USPlabs?

People on facebook are saying this is true, and not just anybody but reps from other companies. Ive seen that question posed before and pes reps said no, but that was a while ago.

Oh, this has blown up like crazy on another site full of peter pipers.
I think it could be like six star and muscle tech are made by the same bigger company, or something like that, but who knows.

Then there is the stuff about pesticides in Usp products or something. I don't have a long enough attention span to read the details

All am I taking by them is cissus is this one of product listed for pesticide?

Cooper thought the world of OxyElite Protein. Maybe this has some traction. Who knows. PES is one of my favorite companies. I refuse to support USPLabs.

I sure hope not because it has been denied so much by them, but starting to fear it big time.

The pesticide issue was pointed out to demonstrate that USPLabs was being very careless in regards to scrutinizing their COAs. When the FDA inspected them a while back, the FDA noticed that in the COA for a raw ingredient which USPLabs provided to them, stated that the raws may contain traces of pesticides. Needless to say, someone dropped the ball at USPLabs in regards to crossing their T's and dotting their i's. It does not instill a great deal of confidence in USPLab's QC.

So basically the point of that was, if USPLabs let that COA slip through, goodness knows what else they have allowed slip through due to a lack of diligence in checking their raws. I'm not claiming that USPLabs is consistently negligent but issues like this are obvious not good things to let slip.

There you go. Someone who knows something about the stuff

Inb4 "Not to mention aegeline itself has pesticide qualities." (So do other things we ingest though...)

I think that whole FDA and the COA debacle happened quite a bit before USPLabs started pushing aegeline. The COA literally stated that the raws had a good chance of having been contaminated by actual pesticides.

Agreed. Was more tongue in cheek. Should have preceded with "inb4"

This has been brought up a million times and the answer is always "No".

Should I be concerned about the entire line or just Enhanced....I currently take Alphamine, ABE and Amino IV...any advice?

Saw this comment, had to laugh, too funny! Its obviously a joke though.

funny person said:
If you don't use SNS, look what happens these days... liver failures, methamphetamine use, pesticides, lead contamination... :spankme:

Enhanced has been discontinued? That's not good.

Yea check out their web site it says discontinued in the product description. I'm sure it will simply be reformulated.

It previously said it was being reformulated, then coincidentally after the bbcom thread blew up, its been changed to discontinued.

Wonder what these could be?
Going to have to wait and see I guess

We'll see what comes of it. There's been talks about articles coming out for a few weeks now.

Where did you get that quote from?

This has been brought up a ton of times, they always say they aren't, so I have no reason to believe they are.

As far as enhanced, I've been told its being reformulated, they are removing aegeline from it.

I don't know why it was in the product in the first place. I ran a bottle of Versa-1 before, stacked it with various stimmed preworkouts, nada. Didn't do a darn thing, so as far as I'm concerned, aegeline does little if anything.

on another note, just took a serving of enhanced from pes, plus some sns cit malate, sns beta alanine, sns agmatine, 1g of tmg, 1 cap of sns green coffee bean, 1 scoop of sns leucine, and a scoop of gaspari aminolast

whole mixed up lot tasted like flavored dog piss.

so on the labels, would it say, "from the makers of pes" for usp, or would it say "from the makers of usp labs" ?

you know, cause muscle tech's labels don't say "from the makers of six star pro nutrition".

hypothetically, cause who knows if this is just a bunch of bull shinanigans.

On that note though, it seems Cooper is reformulating everything from before he got there

Which is also kind of disconcerting seeing them reformulate practically their whole line in one go right on the even of this aegeline/USPLabs thing. Hmmm. I'm actually running Erase right now... one week in... used it before, two 8 week runs actually... but right now, none of this instills much confidence.

I'm not worried about PES, almost everyone on here has used PES with success and no health issues to speak of. Plus, every one I've used work, and work well.

Which is all that matters to me.

Here here. If it works, I want it. Simple as that for me 99% of the time ha.

Like someone else stated , their silence says plenty. Nothing wrong with the affiliated except the rave reviews PES reps gave for USP products:(

ordered amino iv almost 7 days ago. not here yet. 4$ shipping
ordered 5lb tub of protein yesterday. here today. 5$ shipping.
WTF?!?!

Just to chime in on some observations:

This whole thing certainly caught on and blew up like a midsummer West Coast forest fire.

Maybe so.

But, even if they are affiliated (and I've heard athletix could be affiliated with USP as well) I don't really see why it's such a big deal. Does them being affiliated make the products that used to work before people knew about the affiliation less effective?

Less about effectiveness of products and more about the shadiness of it all if both sides have been diligently denying it all this time. Thought I hold nothing against the reps as I doubt companies tell reps all the nitty gritty details of the business.
