PCT Bridge - 12 weeks of AE, MTEST, Epiplex. Let’s go!

Exactly how it sounds. I logged a run of 1,4,Epi andro and got pretty successful Recomp results. I’m week one into PCT and feel this stack is well worth a log.
Week 1-4 - Nolva 20,20,10,10
Week 1-4 - inhibit E, Reduce XT
Week 1-12 - Anabolic Effect, MTEST, Epiplex

Other supps - Protein, red and greens powder, vitamin k2, Hawthorne berry, fish oil.

KSM-66 or KannaEase for mood when desired.

Nutrabio stim free pre
L-Citrulline
Will be adding in full dose of creatine monohydrate after week 2 is complete to my pre workout concoction.

Training is currently on push, pull, legs with one “accessory/active recovery” day per week. I don’t take full rest days if I don’t need them. I believe the body is made to move.

calories cycle between 2400-2900.
On weekends I may hit 3-3200.
Goals - continue to recomp. Lose fat while retaining strength and fitness

current bf - approximately 12%

Will post pictures and sample diet and training tonight. Will begin to log tomorrow (today was active recovery and diet is skewed from a memorial luncheon after my grandmothers funeral).

Supps can be added or changed. Diet and training can be modified. Constructive criticism is the best kind.

let’s get it fellas

Log link for cycle.

current
455 dead x2
240 bench x3
260 decline bench x 4
185 overhead press x 2
405 Smith Squat (back injuries have prevented barbell back squats for a little while) x2

aim is to continue the recomp but also, maintain my numbers and continue to increase as well. I am a firm believer that in a slight deficit you can continue to build muscle and strength, you just need to be extra diligent in your approach.

challenge accepted.

Thank you guys for following along.
As mentioned I switched to a push, pull, legs instead of the fairly typical bro split I’ve always done. So, my volume is slightly increased but my weights have been maintaining. This switch can be, at least in my opinion, one of the keys to making PCT progress in terms of gains rather than just returning to homeostasis. Even with a progressive overload objective, I figure the body starts to adapt to the same training style/split. I’m hoping I can offset the natural minimal loss that would occur ANYTIME someone jumps off any exogenous androgenic cycle and has to jumpstart their hormonal production.

What’s really interesting to me is seeing where my weight will be on a natty anabolic stack around the 6-8 week mark. I put on a decent amount during the cycle while managing to lose body fat (4.5-5 lbs) and cycling between a slight surplus and a slight deficit. This was unexpected but not unpleasant.

I’m sure there’s some water retention and such involved, likely from 4-Andro and the way I didn’t respond to it as positively as some do, and I’m hoping recomping during this time with these supps will help me figure out a better “baseline” weight to approach a lean bulk (or aggressive 6 week cut) from later on in the year.
I know before cycle my dietary habits had me holding excess water. I could feel it. I could feel the bloat and retention towards the end of cycle as well, despite tweaking my diet model and being pretty careful as to what I choose to eat. So, thinking that now as the compounds make their way out of my system, I should start to notice changes in that department

Diet example (based on today, will screenshot my fitness pal and my lift log later)

One serving Kashi go lean cereal with 6oz almond milk
2 protein oat cookies (1g fat, 4g carbs, 6g protein each)
Cup of coffee - black

will have one scoop of whey in almond milk pre workout (shortly)

lunch - likely a flat out protein wrap, I’ll fill it with chicken and chop up some vegetables. Use half a serving of lower fat ranch for some extra flavor.
A banana with 2 tbsp of PB2 OR plain old natural PB depending on the amount of cardio I decide to do.
3 cups white cheddar skinny pop

I may follow this up an hour or two after with some French Toast made with chocolate peanut butter protein, egg whites, and low carb bread (155 cal per 2 slice serving. 18g protein). Possibly topped with pb2 and sugar free syrup.

I will likely have a greens or reds drink in the afternoon before my “first dinner”, which I’m not sure what I’m having yet but my dinner is always based on a leaner protein and rarely goes over 800-900 cals on that meal.

a couple hours before bed (9-9:30) I’ll have a “second dinner” and a snack.
Could be another wrap. A deli meat chicken or Turkey sandwich on low carb bread. Could be just some meat and a slice of cheese and then a serving of Greek yogurt with some fruit, etc. I shouldn’t have the extra carbs, but if I’m really hungry or can’t fight the salty craving I’ll have another small serving of skinny pop, a couple rice cakes, possibly a serving of pretzels with a bit of pb2, etc.

I eat clean, but I’m not obsessive. I can make minor modifications and tweak the calorie consumption but I’ve found eating habits that work for me long term that taste good without sacrificing health. Without a desire or even the time to try to compete or do anything that makes it NECESSARY to be like sub 8% body fat. Not to mention I have an 8 month old and an almost 4 year old...... the fact that I can be as diligent as I am is a testament to how helpful my wife is.

In for the ride. Your PCT looks nearly identical to what I usually go for outside of the SERM (I get better results from clomid personally). Sometimes I get real crazy tho and throw Xgels in there too (usually instead of epi-plex) mostly for the strength and pump boost that makes me feel like my cycle is still going strong ha.

I have Clomid here, was my original plan, but I didn’t want the mood issues that arise at times. I felt like the cycle, especially the tail end, was already F’ing me up a bit mood wise. Currently I’m feeling pretty good and still hitting my numbers 9 days or so off cycle. Lost a bit of water which is noticeable and retaining fullness it seems.

I contemplated x-gels but I wouldn’t want to take Epiplex out of the mix.

I wasn't sure if you meant that you didn't want to take Epi-Plex out of the mix to add X-Gels in terms of cost or if you thought they shouldn't be taken together? If it was the latter, I just wanted to say that they can be stacked together.

But yeah, if picking between the two, that's a personal choice but I love Epi-Plex myself. That's a staple supplement for me.

Aren’t both ideally dosed pre wo?

I personally take Epi-Plex at 1 capsule in the morning and 1 capsule at night. During times of endurance training in the past, I would add in a third capsule per day dosed pre-workout.

I'm pretty sure that that is the way (morning and night) that @TheMrMuscle takes it too.

X-Gels is normally taken pre-workout because people love the pumps from it. But for the lean muscle and strength gaining benefits, it can be spaced out at a different time of the day if need be.

Hmm I was under the impression, or I read someone’s experience at least, of getting good results at 2 caps epi pre wo (the only dose of the day).

I’m trying to find some studies on ARA that aren’t outdated to fully understand how it works

I've heard of people taking 2 caps of Epi-Plex pre-workout. I think its one of those things where I'd say try it and see which way works best for you. I personally use it for the overall benefits of lean muscle, strength, endurance, & recovery. So for me, splitting the dosage up like I do makes the most sense. But some people do experience nice pumps with it taking it pre and I've heard some say the endurance benefits are more pronounced for them that way.

ARA kind of is what it is - meaning that the information about it has been so well covered that there is probably not much new to add. I need to actually update the write up on our website to some highlights and a bullet point format, but here is a link to it for anyone interested: https://seriousnutritionsolutions.com/product/x-gels/

There are a lot of people that love to take ARA pre-workout because they get great pumps from it. It's great to take that way, but for the lean muscle and strength gain purposes, it doesn't have to be taken that way.

I can afford to add in one more thing. I was debating on xgels before. Most of what I read implies if you’re one of the people it works for, you’ll likely love it.
I’ve also debated on lean edge to add a stim free fat attacking mechanism to the mix as most everything else (besides diet) is geared more towards growth it seems.

For anyone following- Did I mention when I was listing daily support supps that I have glycophase and use one cap per night before the higher carb meal? That’s been nice

I love the addition of GlycoPhase before a high carb meal.

That's a tough decision between Lean Edge and X-Gels because its really 2 different goals in mind. I know that I'll be using Lean Edge in my upcoming run that looks a lot like yours but my goal is to both build muscle and lose fat since I've really let myself go the last 6 months or so.

I'm not sure if you've seen this log but he's doing Lean Edge & Epi-Plex and having great results:

Here’s what might sell me on lean edge currently over ARA -
I won’t be in a large surplus.
Summer is coming.
I already have sore joints. Don’t need to add to it with the current volume I’m doing.
I like dosing fish oil about an hour or two pre wo. I take it a couple times a day and it works for my schedule and body currently.

I should hope so, your Log inspired me!

oh speaking of, didn’t you run xgels before?
So I havent tried X-Gels but i did run X-Factor which is another Ara supplement.
You can read my review here: X-Factor Review

Ultimately i didnt feel that it gave me anything. So its not on my radar as something I want to run again.

This is correct. I do one cap Epi-Plex in my pre-workout meal and one cap in my pre bed meal.

I love GlycoPhase as well. I do 2 caps for my pre workout meal, 1 for my post workout meal and 1 for my pre bed meal.

imo yea lean edge will win for me ( only if you have tried ARA and got some sides )
im still a huge fan of ara and up to this day will live by best solo ingrident
you can always dose fish oil's apart from xgels ( ive done 4-5 hrs apart with no issue )
but as a precatious yea i would do lean edge for 8-12 weeks over Ara if i had any joint issue

I have terrible joints from years of different sports, none of which were friendly. Elbows and knees get sore on the regular, and the back gets stiff. Very very stiff.
The more I read, the more I want to try ARA but do not think it would suit my current situation.
I don’t know why I haven’t pulled the trigger. I have 2 lean edge and 2 more AE that are coming one way or another regardless (Have 3 Epi and 3 m test but my local shop only had one AE and I haven’t had to order in a bit)

In my past history, which is really only the bold 200 from back in the day and 6-oxo once, I recall bouncing back pretty quickly, or at least so it seems. This time I’m almost less concerned with how quickly I reach homeostasis and more concerned with the best natty products to build this bridge with. I’m on a f**kin roll here with diligence and progress by MY STANDARDS (we all differ) and I want to keep it going and really get my physique set for these upcoming warmer months........

Lol I should poll this thread like “what should I add”

I'm sorry to hear about the joint issues. Joint pain sucks, as does tendon and ligament pain which I struggle with myself.

If you haven't tried it yet, take a look at Joint Support XT. It has NEM Natural Eggshell Membrane, C3 Curcumin, Super Boswellin, Glucosamine HCI, and Bioperine in it. It can be used solo or stacked with Cissus XT.

Here's a review that Resolve10 posted a couple days ago on it:

I may add Cissus on. If I do add lean edge, 8 weeks worth for mid April to mid June essentially, I can only afford to throw one bottle of that in the mix with it. And where I’m ordering from doesn’t have joint support xt unfortunately

Understandable. I'm sorry if they aren't offering it yet. Joint Support XT is one that we really hope that more and more retailers will pick up and carry.

Not a problem, if I want to I’ll order it direct (but I prefer bulk orders and, of course, I have a 20% off for this site).

Today was Pull Day (1 of 2 for the week)
Weighted Pull ups - 55x6 (stuck there)
Two arm dumbbell row - 65x12
Dumbbell Pull over - 75x12
Wide grip pull down - 160 x 12
Face pull (cable) - 75 x 10
Cable curl - 65 x 12
Preacher curl DB drop set

there were obviously other sets where I dropped the weight, etc, but I’m logging it the lazy way with a focus on listing all exercises and making sure I post improvements or, at worst case, where I lose strength.
Currently maintaining 95% of strength from cycle it feels like. At least.
need this natty stack to make that continue.

calories at 2700, slightly below maintenance until this weekend when I will bump up to 3k for both recovery purposes and fueling heavy dead lifts.

If anybody feels like peer pressuring, I just need a kick in the pants to check out, a good old fashioned ribbing until I do it. I don’t know why I’m hesitant. Probably cause I can’t find too many logs or reports yet but the profile is stellar.

cart-
2 more AE (have 3 Epi and 3M but as mentioned, local shop only had one AE)
2 lean edge
1 cissus xt

I was thinking of going with one lean edge to try but I think I’d be better suited running 8 weeks of that, post Nolva but still running the natty stack.

thoughts?

I have not tried Lean Edge as im usually pretty lean as is. But i might give it a try for a mini cut sometime in the future!
Cissus is always a good idea to take. We arent getting any younger and neither are out joints.

I think that looks great to me. A lot of people go 12 to 16 weeks on Anabolic Effect because the results get so much better as the cycle progresses.

I agree that it would be good to go with 8 weeks of Lean Edge.

There’s an online retailer, Supplement Warehouse, that has their storefront about a half hour from me (I can order online and pick up there). There’s also a place called Capitol Nutrition, which is owned by Supplement Warehouse (or vice versa, can’t remember precisely what he said) that is literally 5 min away from me now. Even when I move in a month or so it’ll only be 15 min away or so. I’m in a pretty good area for supp shops and multiple gyms

It wasn’t financially feasible to add that in with everything else (reduce xt, inhibit E, AE, MTEST, the other mentioned products, etc)

Picture time......I am not where I need to be but I can see improvements I think from the first pics in the cycle log. A few of you followed that, I can’t tell as I’m biased what grew and what I can focus more on so feel free to chime in. I am really liking the stack so far. Because it’s how I am, and it’s all natty, I REALLY want to add something else in the mix. Lean Edge? Something else fun from SNS or CEL? I dunno. I like stacking things. Later on next year I’ll probably run AE solo, then M-Test, so forth.
Diet was very clean the last couple days, eating my protein oat cookies and staying consistent with eating the low calorie dense foods I enjoy. Though tonight at the in-laws they made burgers and I tracked it, fit it in, but it was definitely not lean meat or low cal buns. But then again, I’m recomping. A bit more surplus some days is very good.

Oh yes and biceps........I have terrible insertions and they grow, but they never peak. Never have that nice shape, just sit like baseballs in my arms. Genetics are a b*tch

also I don’t know why they upload sideways for me but they do. Tilt your phones lol

Hmm I was under the impression, or I read someone’s experience at least, of getting good results at 2 caps epi pre wo (the only dose of the day).

I’m trying to find some studies on ARA that aren’t outdated to fully understand how it works
Perosnally I've never noticed any difference in when I dose epi-plex. When I combine epi-plex and x-gels tho I do make sure to space them out which means EP in the am (or pm if i end up doing morning workouts) and X-gels pre workout

Looking good. As long as making improvements, thats all we can ask for in my opinion. I know what you mean on biceps, mine never peak either.

I'm really glad you're liking the stack. I would say to definitely add in Lean Edge if you want to.

As for other things from us, we have some exciting products coming from both SNS and CEL over the next few months too.

I think you mentioned a new natty anabolic? I don’t even know what it is and I’m planning on running it after this.

I can’t wait to find decent lighting in the new place when we move. I can’t get ANY really good pics here and my gym isn’t ideal for it either. But I’m definitely progressing. A bit bigger and a bit leaner is the goal over the next 6-12 months.

Yes, we do have a new natural anabolic formula coming under SNS. I've just never been one to try to pre-hype things too much but its a very exciting formula and works through a variety of pathways. It will be a great option to stack with Anabolic Effect or one could cycle back and forth between them.

We also have several other natural anabolic ideas that are in the works under the different brands. I'm just not sure of ETA's yet. Two are still being finalized and two are finalized, but we need to space the releases away from the SNS one.

As long as things go well, its going to be an exciting year for new releases under all of the companies.

I think your picture lighting is fine; but I understand where you're coming from. I'm super critical of pictures of myself as well.

Ehhh it’s probably being hyper critical of myself, but there’s no reason for that. I’ve built up a solid base, I’m leaning out, just need to remind myself this is a marathon, not a sprint.

The further I get into this stack the more I like it. I did order 2 more AE’s with the Cissus and Lean Edge.
I had things narrowed to that or trying stanoplex in the mix here but I’m happy with my purchase.

UPDATE -
Today was Push day 2 of the week. Strength has been maintained from peak cycle numbers so far, on all compounds. I have lost a bit of endurance in the sense of some of my ISO movements are either a bit lower in weight or I’m struggling to get quite the same reps in.
I log everything so I know what I aim for each day in the gym, minus my one “recovery/Cardio/assistance movements “ session per week.

I started drinking 6oz of tart Cherry juice post workout to help with the inflammation in my joints. I figured I can fit it into my macros and it’s worth a shot for the next month.
Diet was super clean up until dinner - wife was out and picked us both up chipotle so there was no complaining here..... but definitely an extra few hundred calories in that bowl.

I did make another batch of my PB/Choc protein oatmeal cookies, which have been fantastic to snack on for the past week.
1g fat, 4g carbs, 6g protein per cookie

I'm the same way - the reminding myself its a marathon, not a sprint thing. I've let myself go in the last year bc I've just been so busy with work I haven't taken much time to workout. I always tend to start back too hard and hurt myself so the plan is to make myself be patient but I'm so not happy with the shape I've let myself get into. I'm hoping to get started back next week myself and my stacks going to be very similar to yours.

Patience is tough, but getting hurt would be tougher. Once you build that time into your day again it’ll become like clockwork. I look forward to seeing what you choose to run if you post it up.
The nice thing is that muscle memory bank we build up over the years. It would be incredibly hard to try to get into the shape I aspire to, with kids and responsibilities and sore joints, if I didn’t get there before and have 12+ years of consistent training of some sort under my belt

So...... are any of these ghrelin antagonists?
I’m super hungry every night, without fail.
My body is used to having a little meal about an hour or two before I sleep, but lately I feel like a bottomless pit for food.
