Patriots!!!

I can't believe it, Colts won. It was a damn good game, good comeback, but my team still has the biggest comeback ever in NFL history!!! Bills vs. Oilers, bills were down 35-3 and they came back to win 41-38 in the 1991 playoffs!!!

im sorry but the Colts made comeback history yesterday. At the very least they tied your team and now share the glory.

Dungy has deserved a ring since Tampa.
Peyton is top notch and humble. He is very representative of what a NFL player should be.
The colts deserve this, they have fought very hard.

I think colts win it all. I got 20 bucks on it with my aunt.

This was a team effort, one man did not win this game. If your going to pick one man, Dungy is it. Either him or God.

boomer esiason nedds to shut up. anyone see his halftime analysis. bet you anything he picks the bears to win big, he's a hater/btw boomer how many rings you got. cant believe he compared peyton to arod. colts wouldnt even have been in playoffs if not for peyton. go colts.

First off, get your facts straight. 3rd paragraph down.

Heres another quote- "The Indianapolis Colts, with one cleat on their throats, came back from an 18-point deficit to turn the tables on the NFL's most ruthlessly efficient winning machine. Mounting the biggest comeback in the history of conference championship games, the Colts took their only lead with one minute to play and held on for a stunning 38-34 victory.

Secondly, you dont know me well enough to be name calling, so kiss a richard. chump

I think Jerz, ever so eloqeuntly, was referring to the largest comeback in Playoff history. While the Colts did orchestrate the biggest comback in Conference Championship history, it was not the largest comeback in overall playoff history.

To Jerz, you should really learn some respect or get off the Forum. I don't see the need to conduct yourself like a drunk fourteen-year old.

You're an absolute idiot. There have been PLENTY of absolutely GREAT players that have never won a ring but played the game. Football has 11 players on the field, not one you moron. And if you play on offense chances are your not playing on defense and special teams. One man can't control everything. Get over it. You're team lost and just because brady went to the superbowl and won three times doesn't mean it was him and only him who won the game.

The patriots have consistantly had a great team of players. Not just one player. No matter how good the players on your team are you will not make it to the big game if you don't know how to play with eachother. This is evident in many sports. Hell in the olympics our basketball team did terrible because they were all a bunch of egotistical showoffs.

I bet you'd be quick to jump on anyone who said LT wasn't one of the greatest running backs if he didn't get a superbowl ring. But you're just butt hurt because when it came down to it, Tom brady was not as clutch as peyton manning was in this game.

How long you been a patriots fan? I see you reside in florida. You sound like one of the bandwagon hoppers from 5 years ago. If that's the case, I'll be counting the days till you're a colts fan.
WOW.....forget to take your seroquel today. I must say your post made me laugh and further demonstates why pharmaceutical companies put so much money into developing antipsychotics.... oh and yes, i do reside in florida and love every minute of it. I was born and raised in connecticut which last time i checked is a new england state, but if you doubt that please feel free to pull out a map and check for yourself. Your accusation of being a "bandwagon" fan is about as laughable as your childish post. I'm going to take a wild guess and say that reading comprehension isn't your strong point as that's evinced by your misinformed moronic rant.

I must agree with CWS. Trauma, you were by far the most arrogant person in this thread; I must say I take a small bit of enjoyment in your lottery ticket being the losing one. Even moreso that it was in fact Tom Brady who choked when it mattered most.
Mullet.....I've encountered plenty of responses in various threads in which you've more than exemplified your arrogance... well now is it not the pot calling the kettle black.

eat crow trauma, like you said to the victors go the bragging rights. looks like its time for you to be humble. go colts.

You're not even going to point out what is misinformed or moronic in my rant? I'm basing my rant on FACT. That explains your lack of rebutle.

Also, reading comprehension has to do with reading and not writing. I know you like to use big words at an attempt to look somewhat intelligent but it doesn't work if you use them in the wrong context. Here, get educated.

Reading Comprehension Defined. “Intentional thinking during which meaning is constructed through interactions between text and reader.”

Obviously reading comprehension wasn't YOUR strongest point.
Here let's analyze the mini paragraph in which you targeted for a majority of your post. I'll break it down sentence by sentence for you.

"How long you been a patriots fan?"
This is a question. You can tell because of the strategically placed question mark.

"I see you reside in florida."
This is an observation that was strategically placed behind the question. This is put there in order to indicate when you respond that I'm interested in how you became a patriots fan.

"You sound like one of the bandwagon hoppers from 5 years ago."
Now this is another observation. Seeing on how you like a team that has won 3 superbowls in the last 5 years you should be used to this kind of thing. And also seeing on you have nothing else better to say about anyone else on the team but Tom Brady and the superbowl rings, it seems to me you don't know who is even on the team besides Tom Brady. Hence the "You sound like" which is strategically worded. Instead of saying "You are obviously a bandwagon jumper."

"If that's the case, I'll be counting the days till you're a colts fan."

Last sentence here. I hope you're still with me. "If that's the case" indicating if you are indeed a bandwagon jumper that you're soon to jump on the colts bandwagon. I never said "You're obviously going to be on the colts bandwagon next." Reason behind this is because I don't know if your a bandwagon jumper or not. I'm glad I could be of assistance to your lack of comprehension of what I wrote. Have a nice day

speaking as a colts fan; we dont want him on our wagon.

Do you really need that much help to realize how your MISINFORMED, or your lack of ability to COMPREHEND what you read when you apply it to your post. Why dont you go back and read some of my prior postings before you threw in your 2 cents. At what point did i say that
"TOM BRADY" is the one and only reason the patriots win in the playoffs? If you had actually read some of my prior posts you would have noted i made references to "new england", or "the patriots", or "the pats." At no point did i make any reference that new england is a "one man team." NEW ENGLAND is a dynamic team, and tom brady is the foundation they build off. I think your feeble attempt to mock me is nothing less than hillarious.

Your obvious inability to COMPREHEND my prior postings really doesn't get any clearer.....so yes your right this would require you actually reading before you write. I think it's funny how you completely ignored your opening statement which was nothing less than childish. Next time you want to throw your input into a conversation you really should have the facts to support your arguement....otherwise it's nothing less than what we got..... a MORONIC RANT. Anything else i can help you with? Did that point it out for you sufficiently? Now you see the error of your ways.....have a nice day!

Do I really have to breakdown my original responce for you? Are you really that dense? You were stating that Peyton is a good player but until he get's three rings like Tom Brady then he is not all that people make him out to be. In comparing the two you imply that Tom Brady is a better quarterback, no? So I state that Tom Brady may have won three superbowls but he did not do so alone.

"There have been PLENTY of absolutely GREAT players that have never won a ring but played the game. Football has 11 players on the field, not one you moron. And if you play on offense chances are your not playing on defense and special teams. One man can't control everything. Get over it. You're team lost and just because brady went to the superbowl and won three times doesn't mean it was him and only him who won the game."

This means that just because he won superbowls doesn't make him any better than manning as so you implyed. You also implyed every player who doesn't have a ring is a nobody? Your logic is flawed. I'm waiting for you to prove me wrong.

"The patriots have consistantly had a great team of players. Not just one player. No matter how good the players on your team are you will not make it to the big game if you don't know how to play with eachother. This is evident in many sports. Hell in the olympics our basketball team did terrible because they were all a bunch of egotistical showoffs."

This is further proving my point that Tom Brady didn't have to be a great quarterback to win the superbowl due to him have other play makers on the field. So you trying to justify him being better than peyton due to those rings makes no sense. That's like saying every wide reciever on the patriots is better than chad johnson because he has no ring. Or any running back on the patriots is better than LT because LT has no ring. There's no logic in that. It's just pure stupidity.
and we already went over that last paragraph before hand. Was I out of line for my cheapshots at you? Sure, I could have gone about it an a more proffessional manner. But you still lack any reasoning behind you're posts except for trying to expose things about my reading comprehension? That's normally a sign that people don't know what to say. C'mon dude, seriously.

Well we can go back and forth all day long with this. We both said our piece now lets be done with it. I will leave saying this.....any good team/ buisness is a direct result of effective leadership and there is no arguing that. Peyton is a good leader, but he and the colts haven't been effective in the playoffs until as of recent. Brady is also a good leader and he and the patriots have been effective in the playoffs with stats to support it. Brady has a playoff record of 12-2 as the patriot quaterback......Peyton has a playoff record of 6-6 as the colt quaterback. I'm not saying that brady is a better quarterback. I'm saying that when it counts most brady and the patriots have been better than peyton and the colts in recent playoff years. I don't think we'll see eye to eye on this so lets agree to disagree. The bottom line is both teams are very good in their own right. I can say that this year the colts played better in the end and deserved to win.
Now lets end this arguement and go back enjoying the game.
