Paranormal Activity

Yea man. Craps more suspensful than scAry though. It makes u think somethings about to pop out any second of the movie but it never does. Movies crazy man! See it! It's so real. So much for a low budget $11,000 movie.

I saw it last night and it was ok. If you're prone to motion sickness you might want to avoid it because of all the jerky camera movements.

Thanks guys...

I am going to see it tonight. Found it at a showing 25 mins away. My training partner and I are going, the GF said NO WAY. haha

If you see it, I hear that it demands to be seen really late at night in a full theater.

Or wait for dvd release and watch it alone in the dark late at night.

Not something I would watch with my friends at home, as we have seen way too many horror movies and would end up making fun of it or making stupid comments, which would kill the atmosphere and take away any scaryness. Seeing it in a theater forces me to be quiet though.

Pretty scary flick guys... Hair was standing up on end for minutes at a time. Not like anything I have ever watched before. It came across very real and very 'close'. The directer really hit on some untouched fears on this one.
I really enjoyed the picture.

Trust me... They will be quiet...
There were idiots in the sold-out theater last night and when the movie began to pick up... You could hear an effing pin drop...

It was pretty good! I like that it relied on good, suspenseful storytelling and not millions of dollars of CGI.

Uncut DVD release perhaps?

AH! Good thinking! Do you know what I'm referring to?

I do not, but I want to see this movie real bad seeing as it's not the typical shock/'gore porn' horror that studios have been putting out for the past decade. No spoilers please.

EDIT: COme to think of it, it would have to be an alternate ending to make sense.

No spoiler here... but...

I heard that that was not the original ending and that Spielberg offered consultation for this because he loved the flick... Any validation to that?

Yep! Just read an LA Times article that confirmed it. Good catch.

Great movie! Saw it last thursday.. I wouldn't say its a thriller but the last few minutes will leave you wondering if it was real or not.

Yeah - Looks good too! My buddy has been having a reoccurring dream about that owl... haha

The reviews are in. Unfortunately, 2 words that keep getting mentioned are "dull" and "clumsy." Sad because Milla Jovovich is delicious.

Ive heard from multiple people its the scariest thing they've seen in a while i think thats enough for me to atleast rent it on DVD.
