Just finished reading The Paleo Diet by Loren Cordain and before the starting the Diet Program proposed by him I want to get some suggestions
Well, his plans are like this ----
Sunday : Breakfast - Open
Lunch - Tossed green salad with lemon juice and olive oil dressing ;Savory Steamed Mussels; Mineral Water
Dinner - Tomato and Avacado slices;Altamira Stuffer Chicekn;Steamed swiss chard and carrots;Steamed artichoke;Bowl of blueberries, raisins and almound;mineral water
Snake - Basic Beef Jerky ,carrot sticks

This a for sunday only and he have provided many other foods for mondays ,tuesdays.....

The problem is, the place where I live does not provide all the types of foods proposed by Loren Cordain
For example - Mussels ,atrichoke ,beef and many more like these are not available here ......So,What do I do ??????

Can I replace these items with those which are available ....

The paleo diet is meat, vegetables, fruit, certain nuts, and water (plus coconut water). If you can't find those, then there's trouble. Make your own recipes.

Hehe good idea, there's tons of recipes online though too. Don't make the mistake of finding Paleo cheat food recipes though. I see all these people making paleo pancakes, and abusing almond flour too much (it has too many omega 6's so be smart about how much you use it). I'd rather follow the diet properly and cleanly, to gain all of the advantages of it, especially the anti-inflammatory advantages.

For mussels you really dont need anything, maybe a pair of flip flops or water socks.

For beef, a spear could get the job done. Bullets tend to complicate the cleaning process, plus killing your meat with spears releases more testosterone.

Hardcore paleo ftw

Inner caveman.....nice...

Seriously, slap on your plate, meat/poultry, lots of veggies and some olive oil or coconut oil.
Post workout have some carbs (sweet potato) depending on goals and your good as gold

Paleo Diet? This is the first i encounter that diet. Me, I'm into sugar free diet. I only take natural sweetener. It helps me really in maintaining my weight. It has low calorie and carbohydrate content. The name of the natural sweetener that i used is Natvia.

You can replace them, as long as it's actually Paleo. I wouldn't worry about following the meal plans, so much as following the diet itself.

I would suggest picking up Primal Blueprint by Mark Sisson and Paleo Solution by Rob Wolfe as great reading resources if you are serious about Paleo.
