Oxyelite pro (new version) powder &pills illness

I've heard that some places are removing Oxyelite protein instead of, or as well as the Oxyelite pro
 
Well vitamin shoppe and GNC removed oxyelite protein they told me specifically so it made me panic since its the only protein I've been using

Yeah I highly doubt that the protein is tainted, just confusion between the Oxyelite branded supplements

A shipment of 5,000 pills to one person sure sounds like a for personal use issue to me. Got off light, but karma has a way of shaking things out if one continues to stray from the righteous or principaled path.

I only took the version with DMAA in it.. that one was safe correct?

Still have a tub of the original jack3d sealed with the dmaa.. I use it as a paper weight..

I hope you were joking about 5000 pills being for personal use. I seriously hope that was sarcasm. Maybe its just me...I don't feel comfortable buying natural supplements from convicted felons. This isn't the first I've heard of versa 1 containing methyl clostebol wtf is up with that shyt?

There was quite a bit of negative feedback recently regarding the guy who formulated a certain protein blend and then got arrested. I forgot the brand and am too lazy to research it now. Point being that his personal ethics were transposed onto his products by forum members...interesting parallel

Yeah, "The Solution" brings it up everytime someone mentions how much they like Trutein. The arrest didn't have anything to do with the protein though. All I'm saying is don't judge people. Just because someone has done something in the past in that you may not approve of doesn't make it right for you to judge. Besides, the personal lives of these people shouldn't be anyones business but their own.

I care because he's making something that I'm putting into my body and in this case people are dying from it. Imagine taking a supplement and needing a new liver. I mean think about all the pain these individuals are going through

Don't judge? We all judge. BTW if you weren't a bodybuilder and saw this on the news I guarantee you'd be judging your ass off lol

I know. I have been through liver trouble before. I took a "supplement" before and almost needed a new liver, so I personally know the pain first hand. The thing is, it's doubtful that he is personally manufacturing the product, or intentionally contaminating it. How can you place blame on someone you know nothing about?, much less the investigation isn't completed yet and no one knows exactly how this happened.

It really doesn't matter how the media portrays it though...it may be hard for USP to come back from this. Intentional or not they are going to be facing some serious, serious **** if this is proven to be from their supplements. The lawsuits alone would be enough to bankrupt most supplement companies.

I don't wish this type of thing for any business UNLESS they do something intentional like put something off label in so still hoping that this isn't the link in these illnesses. I'm holding off on my Oxy powder for a while now and may be tossing it.
 
Maybe they should trademark Flex's "Black Liver" title

I wouldnt toss it just yet ~ I'm sure the FDA and UsP are both aggressively trying to find the cause of the problem . My guess would be it is from unintentional contamination

So I guess, no more Versa-1, Oep Advanced, or anything with aegeline in it?

Even though they couldn't prove it was Aegeline that caused the illnesses?. That is upsetting. Kinda pisses me off cause I wanted to try the Oep Advanced. FDA seems be just a big schoolyard bully. Shoot first, ask questions later I guess.

Maybe my reading skills have gone to hell, but correct me if I'm wrong, did that article in the link basically suggest that the contaminated batch theory does not apply here as the issue involved different lots of product?
