Omega Thunder Question!! Funky Smell

I order this product from you and I just want to make certain the product is ok. Everything was sealed up fine. There is a horrid smell of chemical/alcohol in the container....is this normal?? Should the pills be yellowish/chunks of dark brown stuff in them? The smell is really odd as i've never smelled anything like this come out of a supplement container before. Alot of the pills are kinds stuck together as well, as if they were baked in the sun. Just curious if all is ok.. Thanks

The CEE products I've used all have an alcohol odor to them, but nothing to the extreme you're describing. But I've never used Omega's stuff before. I'm sure you can get this resolved with PN.
 
I've used several bottles of it and I never noticed a strong smell of any type. Caps stuck together doesn't sound right either. I'd personally hold off taking these untl you can get some feedback from PN. An exchange may be in order here.

Yeh, it just didn't look or smell right. What color was the powder in your pills?? Mine have some funky almost melted powder looking brown clumps in them. Reminds me of my samples of aerobitine i let sit in the cupboard too long. Turned dark brown and looked horrible. Hopefully someone from planetary comes on with a response.
 
I just sent them an email in hopes of a prompt response. I've taken 2 doses of it already and haven't died, but not sure its at 100% effectiveness. Like i said, seems like it got baked in the heat.
 
there was a trhead at bb.com about omega sports doing a sale on the product bc some of it had been visually damaged. They claimed it did not effect potency and safety. Suppose to be just extra oil/lube on the caps - nothing like what you are talking about. I too bought 3 bottles of thunder - I should crack one open to see if it looks like yours.

ALso, as a side note - thunder works even better at double the dose. (4.8g Cee and 4g GMS total).
 
Yeah, I saw that thread on bb.com. Since it wasn't mentioned here, I thought that all of the effected bottles went to bb.com for their sale. He did say that there would be some brown specs in the caps, but didn't mention anything about a strong smell. That part would concern me more than the color of the powder in the caps. I'm using CNW's bulk CEE & GMS right now and neither of those raw powders have a chemical/alcohol smell to them (even though CEE tastes a$$like). I don't know for sure, but the strong smell just doesn't seem quite right.

i feel find almost done with a bottle that i bought from bn. i think your stressing it to much just take the darn pills.

does anyone know what dosage should be taken on non WO days???

and double dose? that sounds interesting, im 190 lbs tho what about you swole?

Well, double dosing thunder gives you many benefits:

1) First does 30-45min PRe workout. Since CEE peaks in plasma at approx ~30min in powder form, 15min extra since it has GMS and capsule so might take longer absorption. The GMS pulls water - so a good time to super-hydrate.

2) Second dose taken 30-45min into workout. You should have exhausted your artificial plasma creatine lv in an hour or so, so a second dose will peak near the last quarter of your workout (IMO). It all depends on timing and such - how long you lift etc.

3) double dosing gives you 4.8g CEE (a more appropriate dose) and 4g GMS - a dose that is more apt to give you some of the benefits of GMS (super-hydration) other than just the increase CEE absorption as touted by Omega sports.

Well, this is just my opinion, and through personal exp, I find a double dose to be much more effective for size (water), strength (more CEE) and recovery (also more CEE and fluid).

Try it for a week and see. Double dose on off day also. Just be sure to take early in day bc of caffeine in thunder.
 
Looks like Matt has you taken care of. We responded to your trouble ticket but please disregard if Custom is sending a new one out. There were some purchased that may have discoloration but we were unaware of order or any other problems with it. The price was lowered for this reason. Thanks!
 
Problem resolved by Matt... No complaints at all.. Discoloration wasn't my main concern, so much as the stuck/melted together capsules and smell. Everything was taken care of though. Thanks Matt...Can't wait to start with the thunder. I currently stopped the batch i have now and will just wait for the new bottle to arrive.
