Omega ONE Sneak Peak!

Well-known member
here is our official re-launch product.

ONE stands for Optimal Nutrition Enhancement.

When formulating ONE, we were faced with literally infinite possibilities. We could have created the end-all, be-all of supplements, but of course the price would have been astronomical.

So we set some priorities. First, we wanted this affordable. Check. Second, we wanted this to include the necessities to facilitate muscle recovery, growth and hydration. Check. Third, we wanted to keep the formula relatively simple...you simply do not need 37 different ingredients in your pre and post workout choices. Check. Lastly, we wanted this to be the best tasting Leucine based product around. Check mate.

Let's start off with Leucine. Now leucine is about a sold-school as you can get. But, few things, if any have shown the ability to potentate protein synthesis (muscle growth) as well as leucine has in controlled, human studies and real-world feedback. Quite simply, leucine is the most anabolic nutrient available today. Not very sexy, but research shows it works and works well.

Next is the carbohydrate source. Remember the endless possibilities? Well choosing a carb source is easier said than done. Whether it be simple maltodextrin or dextrose or the new 'designer" carbs such as palatinose or trelahose, everyone and their mother has an opinion on what the best carb source is and how to incorporate it in an anabolic cocktail.

For ONE, we went withe Hydrolyzed Rice Syrup. Now before you freak out and associate 'syrup' with high glycemic sugars, let me tell you that HRS is indeed a low-glycemic carb source. We strongly feel the HRS will be the next big thing in the bodybuilding community. Here's why:

The company who makes this product primarily markets it as an oral re-hydration solution for people with dehydration from acute or chronic diarrhea. They often can't absorb any food at all, and glucose-based drinks aren't effective or just make them worse. The rice-based carb, however, gets rapidly absorbed and doesn't seem to have the side effects (gas, bloating, abdominal discomfort) of the glucose drinks. This is significant for athletes as well.

HRS is made up of both short and long chain carbohydrates, so it has the advantages of BOTH simple and complex carb sources. It enters the bloodstream faster than glucose, but because of the different chain lengths it doesn't spike insulin like maltodextrin or dextrose.

HRS works better than any other carb source we know of to shuttle nutrients into the muscle cells without insulin spikes, bloat or simple sugars. Welcome to "force feeding" your muscles!

And that is just the beginning of all the benefits of HRS to athletes!

We then rounded out ONE with Glutamine AKG for superior recovery and a very substantial dose of KIC and L-Phenylalanine.

KIC together with L-Phenylalanine and Leucine round out the perfect trio for anabolism. Research shows that they all work in conjunction to further facilitate muscle recovery and growth over the the same components when used by themselves.

So there you have it...the basic foundation for Omega ONE.

In the next week, we will go much more in depth on the formula, including amounts per serving. Stay tuned!

I would love to try this pre and post workout with Anabolic Pump...

can I get a sample Matt?

Looks solid. Any chance of a Glutamine free version? I would prefer taurine to glutamine but hey, who am I. :)

Manufacturer was sent rice protein instead of rice syrup. Pushed it back about 1 week.

LOL! Imagine that... just like Dave ordered tha stuff to make Dark Chocolate and Cookies & Creme Ultra Peptide... and somehow got sent Chocolate and Vanilla?!?

Damn Wiggie Fives :hammer:

So any more details on pricing or ingredient amounts?

I liek the exclusion of a protein as it gives the product more versatility. But don't you think that the Sour cherry will limit the what preflavoured proteins can be used with it?
