Olympus Labs Elix1r

Have been using it for about a week with really good results. It's been awhile since I've taken Focus XT, so I can't do a head-to-head comparison, but Elix1r has been providing very steady, smooth energy (definitely doesn't feel like 300mg caffeine), clearer thinking, and a nice mood boost. I use it as a replacement for coffee at work and feel more productive.

The taste is, well, different (light cinnamon), but I've found that it mixes great with Mio Orchard Apple. Just squeeze some in and you get a cinnamon apple cider taste.

Nice!

Glad to hear you're enjoying the focus and clean energy it provides, we truly believe it raises the bar to a new level in its category :)

Yessir! BTW I cleared my pm's (I got a notification you tried to send me one but my inbox was full)

It's a good formula. They did a good job on it. I'm glad cause many other companies have tried and just put out some **** pixie dusted formulas.

Focus XT is, and likely will always be, the standard basics put into a very cost effective formula.

We're pleased to see attention to this category as we've felt it has been overlooked for quite awhile.

Galatamine and I haven't agreed in the past but I do think I will have to give a sample of Elix1r a try at some point in the future.

Same here. I took galantamine solo and I was sicker than a DOG for almost 36hr.

Spooked to even give this a try lol

It's an extremely well thought formulation overall, Galantamine is just a piece of the jigsaw. As a whole the product makes you feel like a million bucks :)

Oh, I like the formula. I take ashwaghanda (not ksm tho) bacopa (50% bacopasides) among other things.

I'll try a sample eventually. Galantamine as a whole turns me away lol after my experience

Unfortunately, they don't have samples of Elix1r. I was really surprised because it seems like a product that should be sampled. Instead they chose to sample their fat burner product go figure. Either way I have my tub of El1xir on the way so I will let you guys now how effective it is for me soon.

Galantamine is a very promising ingredient, personally I'd rather see it standalone to allow for a bit higher dose, but it's very expensive and being combined with other ingredients so I can see where they're coming from.

The prop blend name is amusing.

Definitely on my list of supplements to try

Send a scoop my way when you do lol

I'm intrigued but definitely want to sample it before I go full-tub. Looks solid, though, and the reviews have been on point that I've seen.

Do you really find galantamine to be that much more promising than huperzine, especially given the price difference? The only study I've seen on either one of them in healthy young adults (without complaints of memory/cognitive problems) compared the two at various doses, and found that both were effective AChE inhibitors, but neither acutely improved cognitive performance. Now, it's possible that AChE inhibitors can benefit healthy young adults during times of sleep deprivation and/or intense mental activity (more intensive than what was used in the study), but 100mcg huperzine inhibited AChE by a very similar (but slightly greater) magnitude as 4mg galantamine, but huperzine reached maximal inhibition faster (both retained inhibition for all time points tested), and 200mcg huperzine inhibited AChE to a greater degree than 100mcg huperzine or 4-8mg galantamine (and reached max inhibition quicker than either dose of galantamine). I'm not saying galantamine is not effective at all though.

(I posted more details/discussion and a link to the study in another thread; I'm posting from my phone right now).

The half life of Huperzine A makes me encourage people to not abuse it.

I use it and enjoy it but really have to make sure you're not abusing it.
