I was just looking over some DC type stuff and I was wonder ing how many people take in a large amount of Olive Oil? Since I am cutting I try not to use it to much, but on a bulk I am wonder how successful it is, combined with a solid diet of course.

I replaced all Flax Seed Oil in my diet with Olive Oil.

I take shots of Table Spoons of it at a time, and usually just chase it with some milk. Works well for me

I use olive oil also, same way as bigcasino--shots of tablespoons.
How well does it work? I dont know but its how I get most of my fat intake for the day.

Chol: 153 <200
HDL: 58 >=40
LDL: 88 <130
Trig: 36 <150

That was my recent Lipid panel. I don't take any cholesterol supplements, just EVOO daily. Couple of tablespoons a day

Nice numbers.

I used to use it a lot, but now I switched to canola oil. Canola is cheaper and taste's better IMO while still giving me healthy HDL/LDL #'s.

Like cable, this is also where I get 95% if not all of my fat intake from each day. I just throw it in my shakes, since I have 3 egg protein shakes/day. Or I'll just mix it with a small glass of milk and chug it if I still need more fat for that particular day. No saturated fat ever unless I'm having a cheat meal, but I usually have a cheat meal like EOD, lol. Canola or EVOO are still great options over sat fat. I think flax, UDO's, etc. are all overated. I used to spend mucho deniro on those back in the day, but all it did was make my wallet lighter. Didn't notice any other benefits.

Make sure if you're going to supplement with olive oil, use Extra Virgin. EV Olive Oil is all cold pressed, while regular olive oil is a mixture of cold pressed and processed.

yeah, i question the quality/healthiness of pretty much all room temp oils. shoot for hopefully the freshest cold pressed organics.

Remember, too, people that olive oil has been found to have the same effects as ibuprofen, a typical diet only mimicks about 10% of what a dosage to get rid of a headache would need but then again we aren't on typical diets so I am sure it still helps to a degree.

I use it every day in my drained water packed tuna...a couple of table spoons per can twice a day when I am bulking.

1 tablespoon a day every day, I use the Trader Joe's brand, it's pretty cheap for extra virgin olive oil

Hell yeah. I buy 2 liters of it for around 11 bucks at Sam's Club.

I've recently read that you can get the same Omega profile as Udo's by mixing 2/3 EVOO with 1/3 Sunflower Oil.
