The Engineer, just me or did you start getting pretty wicked vascularity about 5 days into it?

I responded in the other thread, but yeah. Legs and arms and it just gets better as the weeks go on.

Since I gained some fat, I lost some of my lower ab veins, but I'm noticing way more in calves, quads, thighs, shoulders, bis ans tris and strangely my hip abductors as well have new veins.

Never seen my ab veins. Serratus, yes, never have I seen my ab veins though. Never bothered to get that low down on bodyfat, haven not seen a reason to, I'm not competing or anything, lol.

I rather look big and have a decent yoke than to get down to paper thin skin levels of leanness :P

Day 30 - Update

Sorry I didn't update this yesterday.

5x5 workout went well.
Carb up didn't feel as good as the last one. Perhaps I was just tired or just burned out from the workout.
Managed 4x5,1x4 at 225 on the flat bench. Proper form to chest with a slight pause.
Then 5x5 on wide grip pullup with a 75lb db between my legs.
1x5,6,7 at 675 on the leg press. I can never squat post depletion for some reason so I just went with heavy leg presses.
Rest is just boiler plate hypertrophy exercises.

Could fall asleep till 6am. Probably because I took caffeine too late in the evening. Anyway, I felt bloated and weird all day. One of the keys of the carb is to wake up lean. That didn't happen because I only slept for 2 hours.

Got 1,100 carbs in though and crashed at 6pm.
 
Day 31

30mg - Ostarine - 8am
Back on the carb horse again and damn it feels good to be a gangsta :)
Slept for 14 hours and woke up pretty lean. I guess the carbs were fully digested. Didn't poop it all out, and felt heavier, but it still felt good.

Heavy Leg Workout
Didn't manage 5x5 on all squats, but: 2x4x245, then failed the third rep and only did 2, dropped it to 240: 1x4,2x5,1x3. Going to try for 250 next week. I think I was just out of it from not sleeping properly, etc.
Romanian Deadlift to Shrug: 5x5x225
Calf Press w/5 sec hold: 5x5x720

Then high rep work:
close stance squat: 1x15x125,2x15x130 (this kill your quads and you get a great pump. Just make sure a2g)
calf press w/20 sec rest: 5x15x630
glute ham raise: 5x8 (25 pounds attached/30 sec rest)

Finished up with ab-wheel rollouts and hanging leg raises just because it's leg day so might as well do as much damage as possible.

Came home and had some chicken and french bread with tomato sauce.
Probably going to finish up the night with milk+nf yogurt and some cereal.

Notes:
Not sleeping sucks. I have exams coming up so it's probably just nerves. I will note that I do not believe this the fault of ostarine. Nor do I feel any different when I'm on ostarine and don't sleep than when I don't. Yes it's still an anabolic agent, but this is just to show that it doesn't cause that much harm to your overall system. (I'm not taking into account endocrine)

Other than, monday's and today's results have me excited for the next few days of eating and lifting. I love that feel.

Went from 203 to 187, around 14% BF to about 10%. Ate around 2700 cals/day (300 below maint) and gained strength the whole time. I would call it wildly successful. Before and after pics in my log. Can't post the link from my phone.

Study was done using 2.5-3g daily long term with no ill effects.

3g in a healthy individual will be no problem

This. I think the only dose is really of concern is when injecting. Although, most studies from the past have used injections...

Went from 203 to 187, around 14% BF to about 10%. Ate around 2700 cals/day (300 below maint) and gained strength the whole time. I would call it wildly successful. Before and after pics in my log. Can't post the link from my phone.

Very impressive. I love the strength gains from osta and it really helps with the mind-muscle connection.
 
What I've always wondered is if a dose of say 30-40, maybe 50mg osta would be an equivalent to anavar in terms anabolic gains, minimal androgenic action, and minimal sides. Cause real anavar is expensive as fuark lol
 
It's been my favorite cycle. Well, up until the DMZ I'm running now. I liked Osta better than Test E / Msten. But I had a lot more figured out at that point...diet, training, etc.

From 30mg, I'll have to say that you can maybe get close to it at 75-65% maintenance.

I've read that S4 is more like Var than Osta, though.

And to avoid the vision sides a lot have done 5 on 2 off.

6.5 weeks

20mg for 4 weeks, 25mg for 2.5 weeks

Also used OL's Ep1c at 2 caps/day and Iron Legion X1-KT at 2ml/day for the last 3 weeks.

How'd you like 11kt at 2ml? I dosed it at 1.5ml for 6 weeks and saw some reduction in visceral fat storage and some strength gain, but was pretty lethargic throughout the cycle.

I am a fan of it and plan on using it at the end of a future run. Definitely felt like it added to the leaning out that took place. It was hard to say what was responsible for the strength gains since I was using 3 compounds when I added it in. No lethargy though. Started it at 1.5mL then upped to 2mL for a couple weeks, then somehow had enough for 3mL for about a week. Either the bottle is larger than 30mL or the dropper's measurement was off.

30mg Ostarine - 9:00am

Heavy Upper Day:
Flat Bench: 4x4x235, 4x240, 4x245 (assisted on 240 and 245)
Weighted Wide Grip Pull: 2x4x80, 2x3x80, 4x75 (these sucked for some reason. just couldn't get the weight up and needed to get to the 4-5 range)
Military Press: 3x5x130, 4x135, 1x135 (last set just killed me and didn't feel good after rep 1, so instead of killing my shoulder I just stopped. other than that, they felt really effing good!)
DB Flye with 15 sec rest: 3x8x30, 7x30, 8x30
Close Grip Pulldown w/20 sec rest: 2x8x126, 7x126, 6x126, 2x5x126
DB Preacher Curl: 4x5x50
Close Grip Bench: 3x185, 2x5x185, 2x5x195
Lateral Raise; 8x25, 5x25, 7x25, 2x5x25, 6x26
Incline DB Curl w/15 sec rest: 8x25, 2x6x25x 3x5x25
Reverse Grip Tricep Pushdown w/10 sec rest: 3x8x55, 7x55, 5x55

This workout just took way too long. It kind of pissed me off to be honest, but I made it through.
Weighed in this morning at 169. That means I gained back all the water. I think that's a little too quick, but we'll see what happens next depletion and how much water is lost/not retained during PCT.
Been using a half a pump of transFORM on each shoulder for the past few nights, but it hasn't been helping with water retention.
I'm also a little bloated, but that could just be residual bloatedness from the carb up. Who knows...
Bottom line is I'm a little more bloated than I was last week and other than the carbs, there's no explanation. It could just be estrogen bloat and the 30mg dosage is overpowering the Formestane.
ArA + Ostarine is extremely potent. I felt very strong and didn't have any inflammation like I normally do with ArA. When I run Ostarine again, I'll be sure to include ArA even sooner.
I felt the addition of MyoSynergy during Monday's workout, but not Wednesday's or today's. Monday I didn't have a full stomach when dosing, so perhaps it needs to be in a completely fasted state. I might just dose it tomorrow morning and go in fasted for light legs.
Week 5 is ending and I'm psychologically preparing for the end of this cycle. It's sh1tty, but ce la ve.

Other than that, still cruising on 800 grams of carbs and loving it.
 
800g of carbs??!!! Holy crap. I can barely get 350 and I'm trying. I had days even at 20mg that I felt bloated and would hit 12.5mg of Aromasin that night and would literally piss it away the middle of the night and next morning.

Yeah, I'm attempting to mimic the study I posted previously and take advantage of the glycogen storing properties of ostarine.

It's tough, and I swear the sweet siren of sugary cereal calls to me everyday, but I've been fighting it.

I might have to pop the bottle of exemestane and try it out. This bloatedness is straight up annoying me.

It helps to be bloated on some of the lifts, but I'm not digging walking around like this.

Aye, sir. This week I'm at 4474 calories. Last week I was 4430. The bump is protein because I gained some lbm.

It's not that bad. Breakfast I do 250, and peri-workout I managed to squeeze about 400-500 with the bulk of it coming post workout.
 
Not sure if I want your genetics or not haha. Cause I'd feel like a marshmallow after that much. Planning on trying that cycle eating we talked about in pm starting this upcoming Sunday.

Post workout is sometimes hell if I haven't slept much.

And keep me updated. If you've done PSMF before just ride it out. I've found best results from doing these glycogen depletion workouts fasted in the AM. Everyone is different, though.
Just remember, 6-12 sets per body part, with the upper being for larger body parts (legs, chest) and 15-20 reps with 45-90 sec rest. It's basically a HIIT workout. Machines help greatly for isolation. I've always looked down at machines, but they're great for depletion since you hit the muscle and hit it hard.

It is such a bitch lol and the fear of muscle lose is a big thing with me, I felt like **** last time and didn't really think it was all worth it. Just going to do keto for the cutting phase, as that is the best method I have used so far and I don't feel like **** on it lol. I probably should read more up on the training part and everything .. I kind of like my certain setup and training methods.

I remember reading on his forums that you can tailor it based on your training needs, but nonetheless it works. Lyle's just a jackass of a voodoo master.

Day 33 - Update

Just dosed 25mg exemestane with 1 cap of fish oil. Per the studies done on men, 25mg was administered with fats.
Let's see how I feel in the morning.

I buy my carbs in bulk as much as possible. I have more white and brown rice than one could imagine lol. Oats are pretty cheap too especially in bulk. Pasta etc and pop tarts lol. Easy 76g right there.

Msot expensive thing for me is meat by far. Obviously whole food > shakes buy I feel like I need to limit whole food and use my protein powder more lol

chicken and eggs are dirt cheap. That's where I get most of mine and I hit 230+ most days without trying. It's actually hard to stay below that for me. Only 2 scoops powder max per day
 
i'm on the road to that it seems like.. only 142 lbs but i can't gain a lb at 2800 cals, 65F, 360C and 180P. can;t believe my metabolism after this reverse.

Exactly. Walmart and Target are pretty good when it comes to whole carb sources (i.e. oats, cream of wheat, chex cereal, corn flakes).

Target's Market Pantry brand is cheap. I use them for oats and then I use Trader Joe's Hot Multigrain Cereal. 2 Scoops of each: 7g fat, ~100g cho, 25-30 protein. Use skim milk and you have a full meal right there.

I'm thinking of cutting the kids' and the dogs' calories so I can bump mine up!! LOL

I beat both of you. 5.50$ the lb at trader joe's for boneless/skinless tenders. 7.00$ for lean turkey cutlets. I can go perdue, but I'm afraid of growing a third eye.
