NutriCost owns PrimaForce?

Just curious as i use some PrimaForce products and consider them staples.

I noticed on their website that their customer service email is an @Nutricost one. Does anyone know when this happened?

I guess they got bought out somewhere down the line... I am living in the past when Scivation was still around 🤣

Makes me second guess PrimaForce as Nutricost is pretty low quality stuff from my experience.

Holy moly I think you’re right, never knew that, so idk when the switch was. I caught the tail end of scivation back when I first started following Layne Norton. Which supplements did you find low quality in your experience? I take some basic nutricost supplements and kinda like them (creatine, L citrulline).

Nutricost might suck I guess.... but i have no complaints with their basics (CM, Citrulline malate, Maltodextrin and WPI).
YMMV

They claim to be GMP compliant also.

Their Tudca and ZMA are legit.

I can't speak for now on this, but a very well respected poster on AAS on here posted his bloodwork a couple yeas ago while on their TUDCA and then after switching to CEL's and there was a huge difference.

Which TUDCA is a raw material that there have always been varying degrees of quality with bc of brands trying to cut corners to get prices down on it.

Primaforce did sell to Nutricost within the last couple years. It happened at the same time that Nutricost bought Ketologic.

I believe when Now does their potency/labeling tests of other brands, Nutricost held up pretty well. I don’t think their products are imaginative in any way shape or form but they have a lot of basics in stock and generous subscription discounts

I do bloodwork every three months because the methotrexate i take for my autoimmune condition and i can say for sure my AST, ALT and GGT gets better with their TUDCA, so atleast for me it works.

For sure CEL TUDCA is legit, cant doubt it, in the end is a matter of price.

I think you may have misunderstood what I meant.

I wasn't saying that it didn't work at all.

I was referring to where Hyde had posted how much of an improvement there was in his bloodwork between using theirs and when he changed to CEL's. It wasn't that theirs wasn't doing anything, it was that he had bloodwork done on theirs and then after switching and it was a dramatic improvement.

As far as price, there's very little price difference:

Nutricost pricing is:
  • 250 mg. x 60 caps - 29.97
  • 250 mg. x 30 caps - 20.98 (a lot of people get tricked by this size and think its a better price when its actually a lot more expensive cost per mg.)

Competitive Edge Labs TUDCA pricing with code easter20 or any of the other 20% off sale codes:

Was just trying to be helpful.

Nah, i understand perfectly your post....

The price difference here in EU is a lot more. I can buy Nutricost at Iherb for 25€ less than CEL's, so as i said is a matter of costs.

Okay. It seemed like you thought I was saying theirs didn't work at all and that wasn't what I was saying; I was just talking about Hyde's comparison that he had posted of his bloodwork between the two.

I can't speak for how or why any EU retailers price things the way that they do.

We offer the best prices that we can and our international shipping is not marked up - the cost to ship is whatever the cost of the shipping actually is, and we are always glad to combine orders for people and help in any way that we can.

Ultimately - everyone has to what's best for them.

Yeah, the stupid customs fees we need to pay now for products of USA or UK are insane, before that i always buy from your SNS / CEL web and from other retailers too but for now is impossible, atleast from Spain, its a shame.

Thank you for the info. I did not even notice and I have probably used 50 tubs of their cissus powder.

Makes me wonder if quality has dropped? Ive used SNS cissus before but the Primaforce one was more convenient to subscribe to on Amazon. Any reason your stuff is not sold on Amazon?

W/ out product testing, people speculate. Bloods don't always mean everything as peoples bloods can improve (and take a hit) weekly, for tons of reasons...

I had shitty bloodwork (dehydrated) I went back a week later after hydrating properly, it was day/night.

Nutricost products I've used (mainly creatine) seemed fine... W/ out actual product testing, no one can be sure..

There are a few reasons.

I'll start off by saying that you will start to see products available on there within the next couple of months and they will be added in phases until hopefully most of the products will be on there

We have always more focused on selling to retailers that then resold the products and the last couple of years, we have focused more on direct to consumer sales. This year, we have a lot of things going on that are very intensive behind the scenes things like website updates that customers won't see for a few months until they are complete - but they will be geared more to D2C sales while still selling to and supporting retailers.

That's when we will start to focus more on Amazon and selling direct on there.

Here are a few reasons we haven't more before now:
  • Amazon is its own world when it comes to supplements. Some of the best selling brands on there don't even exist in the world outside of Amazon - and as NOW Foods showed with a lot of their testing of other brands on there, its hard to compete with some of those brands that aren't even trying to meet label claims.
  • We have so many products that selling on Amazon would be like a full time job in itself - because to be effective on Amazon, it isn't just listing products. You have to be careful with ad spends and things like that because Amazon takes so much in fees that if you're not really paying close attention, it can be easy to lose money.
  • Stock levels - this doesn't pertain to the basic products, but some of the advanced and unique things that we offer, things that sell out fast and may take time to get back in - Amazon penalizes listings based on out of stocks (which is why you see most formulas on there are very basic).
  • I could keep typing on this list for an hour or more - but basically a lot of things that make our products exciting and effective can also present challenges to brands, which is why many brands stick to basic ingredients.
I am excited to in a few months have many of the products offered on there.

As exciting as this year has been and we hope or it to be in terms of new product launches, there are some other things going on behind the scenes that I'm even more excited about.
