Nurse Gray's Bodybuilding Log

Don't Under Estimate the Power of the Poop!!

Well I go with the brown rice. I also have food prep on a schedule .... every Sunday and Wednesday evenings. Cook up a bunch of rice, chicken, ground beef or ground turkey, etc..... It really helps to have it all prepared and in tupperware in the fridge. Makes each meal during the day much easier.

Basmati rice =FTW

Back day done. Cardio done. Off to cook my rice for the day!

Ok end of week four! Super good chest day today!Invalid Link Removed

I do believe you are leaning out a bit, Is the belt getting looser ???

It is a journey and not a race, you hard headed in the right direction so Life Is Good!

You've got a good base of muscles to work with so this won't be as hard as some think. You've got a good understanding of what it takes so the only other aspect is mental and I think you've got that covered too! I'm anxious to watch the transformation!

You are for sure leaning out compared to week 3' s picture! Nice job!

I'd say more than a little. It's harder for you to see because you see yourself every day, but I see a great deal of difference in the last two pics. Nice work Colin

That food prep life!

Look at tide styrofoam packages. lol

Did you rob the kitchen at the hospital of there containers ??

Costco all the way easier than cleaning the tuperware

Man on a mission there!!

Glad to see you're doing the meal prep thing. Like I've said before .... Sunday and Wednesday evenings are my meal prep time .... everyone stays out of the kitchen for fear of getting their head ripped off by me .... My lady says I take my meal prep a little too seriously ..... obsessed or dedicated? Guess its a fine line between the two

Sorry for the lack of update this week. I will post picture tomorrow as the wife and I have had a pretty severe cold this last week. Been off of my diet and supplements for 4 days. Back on today. Also I have started our Mind and Muscle 30 day Natural test stack. Stay strong guys!

Hope you both feel better!

Ok here it is guys. Week 5 I think? Fell off the diet and training due to bad bad cold. Hopefully it wasn't two steps back. If it was I'm just going to go three steps forward!Invalid Link Removed

I would say a noticeable improvement !!

Just a little cardio confessions for my AM family! Be safe our there this weekend! Happy Memorial Day!

Always enjoy your video's!!

Ok start of week 6! I'm starting to feel leaner just a little. It's the end of the cold for the most part so my strength is coming back but I strained my wrist a bit on arm day doing some hammer curls last week so I'm babying that a bit. I'm moving forward and loving it!!!!!!Invalid Link Removed

You are definitely getting leaner Keep working toward that goal!!

Into week 7. Not too happy with this weeks progress but the sickness is completely gone and Its back into full swing mode. I am starting to notice my recovery dipping down a bit due to lower calories. Any who. Heres the update photo.

Mid section is definitely shirking.....Looking better every week !!

I see obvious progress! Awesome job .... its a slow and steady thing fat loss .... trust me I've been there. Went from an obese 360lbs to a lean 245lbs over 3yrs and then I've spent the last 5 yrs slowly building lean muscle. Its a lifestyle .... you're doing just fine. There will always be ups and downs .... that's just life. Stay focused and dedicated and you WILL succeed

Well put !!

I see progress too, Gray. You can't expect a whole lot within a week or two. Overall, you are doing great, and hopefully that bench isn't declining during the cut. ;)

I actually I hit 245x8 last week. Craziness

Ok into week 8! Felt strong this week. Hit a bench PR of 245x10. I know I said I wasn't going to step on a scale but I cheated. My wife and I are real estate agents and when we show property I sometimes I spot a scale. Shhh don't tell my clients lol. I'm down 12 pounds in 7 weeks. Excited to see end results!

Yes she is very supportive and it helps greatly!

So I moved the gym downstairs to the garage a few weeks ago. Just got some deadlifts in. Worlds difference when you are not worried about dropping the weights through the floor. Man it feels good to be a gangster!

We need a picture of that new gym when it's set up. I bet you don't have as good of a view from the window!!

Better view!

This is where I hit dead lifts this morning!

Fantastic view! Garage gym FTW! I'd turn that bench 90 degrees as it looks like the bar is going to kill that window! Lol. Also, if you have a farm supply store there look for horse stall mats. These are heavy duty rubber mats that you can place on floor to protect the concrete.

Dang, I wish I had a yard like yours! Everything is about property lines and fences in California.

This is what I used very reasonable priced, if you can find a place local to pick it up.

Ok week 9! I went to Gatlinburg TN with the family this week end. So three days off from the gym and ate what I wanted within reason. Strangest thing. I was the leanest I've felt this whole cut. My wife and others we're even commenting. I guess my body needed and loved the rest! On to the grind again. Got home last night late but my meal prep is done and some more sweet supplements were waiting at the door for me. Straight to the top!
