I don't know how everyone on this forum fasts or intermittent fasts without being in ketosis! I messed up ketosis this past week by overeating protein and peanut butter, and trying to fast just for my normal 18 hours was horrible. I was miserable. But if you can do it, more power to you!
After vacation to Florida starting tomorrow, I'll be implementing keto with extended fasts similar to what your doing, but just a little different.
I hear you. Last time I did keto I fainted at work when ketosis kicked in. Don't know if I get into ketosis this time -as long as I don't faint, I don't care.
I may have to change macross around to avoid ketosis -or make the meal bigger.
If you plan to go to Orlando in your vacation, make sure you go on Monday or Tuesday. I was last Monday there, only 5-10 minutes to wait in line per attraction. Lots of tourists cancelled after "Irma", thats a plus!

Sometimes I hesitate to add people, due to the rambling, off subject nature of some of our threads. I will add you both in the next time "The List" gets used.
kenpoengineer and GreenMachineX are known derailers, changing the topic to manga, knitting or make-up tutorials.

I must've said all that wrong lol.
I meant intermittent fasting or fasting in general sucks for me when I'm not in ketosis. Ketosis feels great for me. I can fast forever. I just ended a 4 month keto streak because I knew I wasn't gonna stick to it in Orlando, but after a couple weeks break I'm gonna do it again. I fasted without being in ketosis yesterday and I felt like Death was washing over me lol.

Yeah, we're at Disney Sunday, Monday and a Tuesday and at Universal on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. I'm pumped!

I know I've said it before, but you must have the most "interesting" browser history ever. Somebody needs to start a thread where you post a screen shot of your most recent web pages. hairygrandpa's would probably get the thread shut down on the first day.

hairygrandpa, are you doing any Cardio???
Yes, trying to do at least 10 minutes per day. I know, its not much -but I truly hate it. My high volume workouts have to compensate for the lousy cardio, LOL

This is exactly what motivates me. Burning to death is a tough way to die. Old age may be worse. You could be stuck in pain and unable to walk for years.
hairygrandpa - you ready to quit yet? You tend to burn hard and fast on these diets

DOMS I Bet!!!!!!!
I had my first workout on Wednesday after over 2 weeks off (might have been closer to 3). Between post-surgery care for my wife, a sick daughter, hurricane Irma then getting sick myself (of which I am still recovering from being sick). I did chest and shoulders... mild DOMs, nothing too bad, then a heavy leg day on Thursday. OMG, leg DOMS set in Friday mid-day and I almost could not sleep last night for not being able to find a comfortable position due to the DOMS. I took Friday off and am hitting back and biceps today. The leg DOMS make it hard to setup each exercise as bending down to get the weights friggin hurts! LOL. I am still sore AF. Hopefully you will fare better than I have!

Being on Test is one thing, I can't imagine this working for a completely drug-free lifter? I feel like their recovery would be nil?

Either Way this is so interesting of an idea.

Yesterday was off (no training-no food), it was hard, very bad doms. I went at least 20 times to the fridge -but grabbed always the water bottle...

Popped a cialis pre-workout, for pump and dragged my hurting body to the gym, because : "No train - No meal."
Gym got out of hands today, I was chasing the pump to get blood flow to my aching muscles -but it escalated.

Workout:

Pull ups BW 228lbs
8/6
Chin ups:
10/6/7
Lat pull down / SS/ seated row (bold):
150lbs x25/30/2530/25/28
220lbs x12/13 /12 /12/10/10

BB shrugs
220lbs x17
265lbs x11
310lbs x5/3

DB Kroc row:
45lbs x 22/24
110lbs x10

smith machine drag curls
2x25lbs plates x16/17/14
2x45lbs plates x8/10

EZ-Bar standing triceps ext. behind neck
45 lbs x20/18/18
65lbs x13/12/12

Cable triceps exercises, reverse grip, push downs and other:
12 sets

One armed kettlebell side rises:
20lbs x15
30lbs x 10/8/8

Inclined abs:
35/24/17

BB straight bar curls, TUT 4.1.1 /SS/ Floor DB extensions 2x25lbs
curls:55lbs 10/10/10/10/8/8/7
Triceps: 22/17/15/13/10/12/10

Cable concentration curls, one armed:
25lbs x25/25
35lbs x13/10
45lbs x6/8

No idea where the energy came from. I had in mind to just pump blood into the muscles, because I still had doms.

Here my meal, took me about 15 seconds to devour it, LOL

Side note:
Day 4 and I already lost 3 pounds, mainly water. Overall, I feel great! I think it was a good decision to cut out all crap like Clen, DMAA, T3 and whatnot. Never felt better.
I prefer to lose weight a bit slower, instead of having cramps, trembling, heart pounding -and other sides from so called "fat burners".

No idea if it works at all. My guess is, it should -with and without AAS. Training frequency and volume WILL go down -but its all about the result at the end.
Stay tuned.

Same here! I went today WITH doms and it turned out well! Didn't do legs, legs ached the most and were trembling, LOL.
The 3 weeks pause was a good deconditioning I guess.

LMAO. sorry! couldn't help laughing. I have been there too many times. I over did my calves after my Decondition and couldn't hardly walk for 2 days.
Hope you start feeling better.

You was taking all of that??? WoW!
Clen and DMAA in the past. I made up my mind, my time as a lab rat is over. It does more harm than good for me. AAS use will from now on be conservative too.

HGP, how many Protein shakes daily?
None. No shakes, also no BCAA's. Only supplement is fish oil.
Cycle is : Test-e 250mg/w + Ostarine 20mg/day.

Is this over already? Did you pass out from a lack of food already?
This time its over when I hit 200lbs. 22lbs have still to go.

No way. HGP is in the middle of an extended workout session.
Almost! Was at the farm pruning my plantation all day.

Update:
Yesterday night I had half a bottle of Vodka with Coke Zero at a "Spring Party". Not sure if this counts as cheating, I'd call it recreation.

Today is day 5 of NTNM. Scale says: 222lbs, 8lbs lost so far! Its Sunday and the family is eating ice cream right now -me, sitting in my office pretending I don't want ice cream.

Day 6:
Those "No meal off days" are torture.
Yesterday was the hardest day so far. Hunger cravings were mind numbing. Gym was closed on Sunday, so I couldn't work out to allow a meal.
I admit I cheated: 3 boiled eggs and about a dozen macadamia nuts. Will up cardio to burn those macadamias off.

:(

Woke up at 215.6 Lbs , 14.4lbs lost in 6 days!
I can see changes in the mirror from glycogen depletion and water loss.

Nowadays I inject Test-e subcutaneous. Each injection of 0.5ml with a slin pin, leaves a small bump under the skin, that dissolves in about 3 days. Will stick to this method, it's by far the most comfortable one.
Energy is a tad low and I feel less strong. Today's workout will be a challenge -but I'm eager to go to the gym, because after that: MEAL TIME!

Brother you are extreme for sure. I go six hours without eating something and I start to shake. (Except when I wake up) then I'm good for maybe 2hrs.
How long you going to try to keep this up? or is there a weight goal?

Of course you are the HG!

How long? Until I look similar to you! Seriously.
Weight goal is 200lbs for now. Just a minute ago I was rethinking that. After hitting 200 comes the hard part: staying at 200 while working on definition. To look like you afterwards, I may need a bit more muscles in the right places -that means gaining weight again. The circle of doom, LOL!

You wouldn't say that if you saw me now. I have been on a eat whatever I want diet and hit the gym when Life doesn't get in the way.
This will however be changing in about 2 weeks. I will put up some pathetic starting pics when I begin my new natty booster log so you can see what I mean..
