novla pct how many bottles?

I purchased a bottle of novla which states that it is 20mg per ml and comes with 50ml. How many bottles would I need to run for a 4 week pct? I understand that it should be 40mg for 2weeks and then 20mg for 2weeks.

simple math. 1 bottle would be more than enough for that schedule.

40mgs = 2ml
20mgs = 1ml

1 week = 7 days

2 weeks @ 40mgs = 28ml
2 weeks @ 20mgs = 14ml

28 + 14 = 42ml

50ml - 42ml = 8ml left over

BUT.... from my understanding,

These numbers are based on amount of tamoxifen in a pill. A 20mg Nolva pill is actually 30.4mg tamoxifen citrate.

So, to get the equal of a 20mg pill worth, you will need to take ~30mg of the liquid, and to get 40mg worth, you'll need ~60mg liquid.

So, 40mg for 2 weeks, followed by 20mg for 2 weeks (in pill form) will actually be 60mg for 2 weeks, followed by 30mg for 2 weeks (in liquid form).



60mgs = 3ml
30mgs = 1.5ml

1 week = 7 days

2 weeks @ 60mgs = 42ml
2 weeks @ 30mgs = 21ml

42 + 21 = 63ml

50ml - 63ml = -13ml

which means you'll need about 1.25 bottles. :)

Bump on what shadow said.

There was that whole big thread about how there is less actual nolva in the liquid nolva compared to tabs.

i agree with this but i posted a question about this a while ago, i was told to go ahead and take the nolva as perscribed. you can look at this...it's about the ninth and tenth thread down. Invalid Link Removed has anyone came to a feasible conclusion on which is the proper dosage of nolva?
 
I can't really comment on that because it looks like the nolva there was used for a different purpose (that I don't really know about).

We're talking PCT here though. VERY important to make sure you take the right amount. It looks like the final word was that we do indeed need to take more of the liquid versus the pill form. Check out the link I provided above.


I'm on my 3rd week of PCT @ 60, 50, 40, 30

knox, fwiw, I don't really know anything about chest fat reduction with nolva, but I think your best bet would be to find out if that 80mgs you were supposed to be taking is measured in pill form. I'm sure somebody here could help you out with that. If it is, then you would want to take about 1.5x that amount if you're taking a liquid form, i.e.:

20mg (pill) actually equals 30.4mg
80mg (pills) actually equals 121.6mg

So you would take 121.6mg liquid or ~6mL's/day.
 
shaddow, thanks for the information, i didn't feel comfortable taking that much nolva my first time around, and especially since it wasn't for pct. the highest amount i took wasn't over 3ml. btw, i was using the liquid nolva from custom.

does anyone know if custom delivers to P O boxes?? I emailed sevreal times no reply
 
I'm just using a scoop for the nolvadex powder (it was a 50 mg scoop from my 4-ad bulk). So it should be 50 mg +/- 10 or 15 mg? Even if it was a 100 mg, would there be any side effects? Next week I will half it and then the following half again.

BTW, I actually like the taste in my seltzer?

That's not a good way to go. The weight of a given volume of one powder is not necesarilly equal to the weight of the same volume of another powder. It could be very different. For example, I have a scoop that measures out 500mg of 4ad; this same scoop measures out 1200mg of ALCAR.

Not sure about sides.
 
You need a scale or make a solution, that is not going to be very accurate, + the volume of nolva is weird.

Thanks shaddow, huge, cuffs and cr4ytonic - I don't have a scale but I will make sure to do my best to put it in solution next time. Until then, I am just using half a scoop (prob. around 40 mg) - better than bitch tits and after 8 days I have only lost 4lbs (out of 14 lb gain on m-1t so i must be close enough. Does anyone know if there are any sides for Nova for males?

For 4 weeks and under use not really. If you google it there is a long list of sides but those usually come from 5 year+ treatment on women to prevent breast cancer.
