Not sure how I like the Fusion, the legs are short on me and rode up my thighs very high compared to the Super Centurion despite being tighter. Next time I won't wear thin compression pants under as that may have aided them riding up.

It could be due to the bar, but your shoulders drift ahead of the bar at the initial portion. You get your upper body into the proper position at the bottom, which is 90% of the battle with sumo. The only other thing I'd need to see is the shin position at the setup as that could be another reason your hips shoot up.

It's a stiff bar with poor knurling.

Appreciate the input. What's your thought on leg length in the suit? My Fusion is riding up and only offering 6" or so of coverage from the hip crease to my thighs. Partly due to wearing compression pants I'm sure, I'll use suit slippers next time instead.

As long as the suit is snugly against your hips and ass, it should be fine.

Mind****ed myself on 180, didn't even try to snatch, so went straight into a high hang and hit it. Rushed workout due to time but still hit some good lifts. Most I've done on farmer walks too.

This gym also had a Swiss bar, a Squat Safety bar, Bamboo bars, bumpers for days, prowlers, sleds, and some other fun stuff. Going to try to make it my new home if it's not too much money.
 
Found out Boss is offering a strongman meet April 26th, one week before USPA collegiate nats. Well I guess I'll be doing both...

Turns out I did 205 (handles are 25lb) per hand the other day on farmers, that event is gonna be easy at 210.

Just 30m I believe. No turns, one way, then return with 335lb Zercher Carry.

It's Boss' first meet ever, including PL, so I'm sure they're making it a little more entry level.

I need to get on stones, I can do 200x10 but never touched anything heavier and heard heavier stones are completely different.

What are the weight classes? The one with that event was for the 200 and below class lol..

It's the circumference that's the issue with heavier stones, typically people take a wider stance for them which helps.

175 and below, 176-200, 201-231, 232 and up I think. Gotta watch my weight at 205 right now.

That is a lot of classes below 231 and not a lot above it...

I've only see vids on the internet, and never seen an article or post on it. Try it and find out. Technically it should help, I made sure I tied on the lateral quads to minimize catching.

Breakdown was definitely centered in the backs not leg or lockout/hips. Looked pretty good overall though, you can tell they were heavy sets but the back breakdown was minimal. So I think that tells us your weak point.
 
Yeah, just tipping a little off the floor. Throw your head back off the floor and that should be cured.

I definitely see the minimal thoracic rounding, I don't really do super heavy back training anymore minus deadlifts.

Thoughts on wraps?

Not sure if anyone noticed, but a 2.5lb plate actually broke on the 600x2 set from the force of setting it down, lol.

2.5's just mean you're too much of a ***** to use 5's. 5's just mean you're too much of a ***** for 10's. If you're using 10's you might as well use 25's because they look better, but if you're using 25's you might as well use 35's but who the hell uses 35's? So might as well just jump up to 45's. So really, your only option was to pull 675 or 585.

Meh. I have the opportunity to use collars that weigh 5.5lbs a peice. That's not stupid or anything..

I do enjoy a good scream though.

Decent pressing session, pump was crazy and getting to the point of too much by the end of the session.

Got soft tissue work afterwards, gotta love it when the chiro (young blond) tells you your back is hard to work on bc you're well-muscled. Got my elbow torn up, and lower back Grastoned.

Good session, my hips are feeling beat up but the squats were fast. Energy great as always, calve and back pump at the end was killing me.


Today, just went in and did some abs, bar goodmornings/overhead lunge complexes, then cycle HIIT.

Nice little regiment. I got me OT and Monsterpump at the moment. I have some TMG for off days(monster pump has it already). I have AminoIV as I train fasted all the time.
