NFL Play-Offs

sanchez did a good job, they just ran out of gas. Great season though
 
It's been a pretty awesome playoff series so far. Would have been better of the Chargers were still around though. Either way, the Super Bowl should be a good one.
 
Great games today. Peyton Manning is a surgeon, the Jets have something to build on for the future. Brett Favre will see that last pass for the rest of his life and the Saints played error free football or they might have gotten housed even with the Viking mistakes.

Yeah, I would be pretty surprised if the aints win.

The saints played their best yesterday, unfortunately, vikings(farve) did not.

The colts D hasnt even showed their best, YET. Watch and see.

I'm sure they will be.If the Colts win the bowl,the cynical crowd will cry,"if we/they hadn't rested the starters we/they would've had a perfect season."

IMO, the two conference championships had different outcomes.

AFC- Peyton and his team analyzed, adapted and beat the jets at their own game. The played typical Colts football that we have seen all year.

NFC- Brett Farve and AP sole-handly gave the Saints their conference title. Vikings are the better team, they just beat themselves.


This is why I believe the colts are a better team AND will beat the aints in the superbowl.
 
I'm telling you all, teams do not want a perfect season. It's like selling the teams soul to the devil to get it. Yes, you go perfect and win the Super Bowl, but then it's time to pay up and you can forget winning another. Example?? Dolphins, 'nuff said.

That makes absolutely NO sense!
So its the Dolphins fault the Patriots didn't beat the Giants to complete their perfect season?????? They got all the way to the SB undefeated and all of sudden proclaimed...."We can't win this game,we'll be doomed for eternity!"
My main man Herm Edwards said it best.......

I'm not saying that the teams or players themselves don't want it and choose not to. I'm saying that they don't want to go undefeated, that it won't turn out well for them if they do, it's my superstitious opinion. Get my meaning..lol. Not quite sure how to make it clear, but I can see how you thought I was stating what the players themselves really wanted.

Those knuckleheads on Pats D was talking all **** late in the 4th quarter, just tempting fate.

Well, they got it.

I smiled from that game for a solid week. Not to mention i won several bets.

But i agree, i think going for a perfect season is toying with the football gods. If I was a coach, my goal would not be a perfect season. Instead I would rather have all my guys rested and injury free going into post season.

They "got it" by way of a "miracle,ball stuck on a helmet catch." ..NO, I'm not a Pats fan ,and even lesser of a Giants one...Speaking of David Tyree.He plays on special teams now for the Ravens.Exemplifies his loyalty from the Giants after "the catch."

Athletes are creatures of habit.Ask 99 out of a 100 would they rather play than sit.Wanna guess their answer??? You line up and PLAY.You rest in the off season.

You could read Peyton's body language in the regular season Jet game.He most definitely didn't wanna come out,but he is/was too much of a "pro" to complain at the moment or even to the media after the game.
After its all said and done...he'll go down, IMO as the best QB ever to play the game.Sorry Mr. Montana! His dedication and football IQ is at a level I've never seen.Not to mention he's humble and well behaved! That's an unbiased opinion also .Not a Colts fan either.

The aints once were a NFC West rival for my lambs, I had to hate them. I guess the emotion never left. lol
