Holy crap... I was expecting to click the link and it going to the Onion.
These rules have been around forever... taking a hat off when entering a building has been a time honored tradition that started because people would hide pistols in their top hats and not wearing it was a sign of honest and has become a plain sign of respect.
I personally after serving time in the military find that time honored traditions should remain respected for the sheer fact that they are a part of our history, and having to take off their hats hurts no one.
