Hey guys, I found this website searching on google for information on different CEL products that I found on ebay. I have soooooo many questions that I am sure this entire post is going to be all over the place, so try to stay with me...

First off, I am 27 years old, im 6 feet tall and weigh in at 195(not sure about body fat % though). Been working out for atleast 5 years on and off. Just in the past year, Ive really been "gun hoe" about it. I hit the gym a MINIMUM of 3 times a week. When I am there, I workout hard. Mainly my upper body and obviously legs occasionally. My biggest issue is my diet. I cant get rid of my belly. Its not huge, just not what I want. I dont need a 6 pack but I want a flat stomach.

I am posting this under the CEL thread b/c I have just got done using up my bottle of X-tren about 1 week ago. I def notice a difference in strength/endurance, but from what I am reading here, it seems I am not using these products right. I am very unfamiliar with all the "lingo" you guys use. Basically Im a dummy when it comes to this stuff.

So my questions are, what is some good product to help me lean out alittle(if there is one), and can I take something along with it, to help my muscles grow?? All in all, I want to loose some body fat and gain some mass in my muscles, and I hear that if you loose body fat, you loose alittle muscle strength too. It already seems like my arms are smaller than they were a week ago, since my bottle of x tren is all gone. I just dont get it, I feel like im doing this wrong. :scratchchin:

Sorry for the lack of knowledge I have, just trying to get into it alittle and dont know where to start, besides with asking stupid question.

THANKS

I hope you know you need to use something for PCT.

Also there are no magic supplements eat properly and work your legs!

Building muscle and losing fat is damn near impossible for the average person. You need to be genetically gifted or on steroids to "recomp" significantly in my opinion. If your happy with your level of muscularity and want to focus on losing body fat I would suggest making sure your calorie intake is in the right range and start using high intensity interval training. Remember there are no "fast tracks" that will keep you healthy and lean over the long term.

No I didnt know that I need a PCT. I didnt even know what a PCT was/is untill yesterday reading through this forum. Im very new to the supplement world. Why do I need that, and what is the problem if I dont use it?

Yeah Ive been trying to eat better. Its real hard, lol..

THANKS JASON

Yeah, thats what I have heard/read. Im not exactly happy with my muscularity but its OK i guess, but Id really like to loose my little belly. How many calories should I be consuming in a day? Ive cut down alot on food. No soda at all, try to eat good, but obviously its not all the time b/c I have a 4 year old son that loves to go to McDonalds and stuff.

No matter where I go, I try to get the healthier end of the menu but always drink water. I try to eat minimum for breakfast. Like a nutrigrain bar, then lunch I was eating a slimfast, lol.. Then eat whatever for dinner but once again, try for something decently healthy(grilled chicken, fish ect) obviously not every night.

So if I want to get bigger(muscles) what is a product that I can take and see the best results with? Can you guys walk me through it alittle??

THANKS

I am really new to this but I want to give you my opinion on something. STOP. You have no idea what you are putting in your body and what they do. These are chemicals that do more than help build muscle and burn fat. They can cause a number of side effects and damage to your body that could cause permanant problems down the road. The can cause liver damage, high blood pressure, high cholestoral, loss of libido, hair loss, acne, enlargement of the breasts............... ,and without the proper research on how to combat and minimize these possiblities you are on the path to harm yourself. I am telling you this because some members will flame you for your half ****ed way of approach, likely scaring you off to figure it out on your own. And you will end up taking more pills without knowing what they can do. There are a number of people here that will help, biut not until you build a solid foundation of self-research and are ready to make a lifestyle change and committment to your goals. For most of the people here, this is not a hobby but a way of life. I myself have done one cycle after i had done most of the right things. I had some gains, lost 80 pounds of fat, but for a multitude of reasons have stopped working out. i wont even think of doing another cycle until I know i can commit to a long term plan. But back to your dilema. You are ingesting body altering substances without knowing what they do or what harm they can cause. You dont seem to have the time to commit to what amounts to approx. a -4 month period for pre-cycle, on-cycle and post cycle supplementation nor done your required homkework to know what these things are for. You also dont seem to have the desire to work on a diet. Slimfast and nutrigrain aint it. Pick a goal....fat loss or muscle gain.....then reasearch for the diets and exercises that a geared towardas that goal. And once you have worked at those things for a solid period of time, done your resaearch and can show you are ready, people will steer you towards what supplements you will need to continue in a way that will keep you safe. Until then, stop poppin' pills.

Hope i didnt step on too many toes.

It's no surprise you're losing a little bit of your gains now that you're off cycle. This is normal. But, you should have lined up a supplement plan for afterwards.

Go to Nutraplanet and buy some Testforce by E-Pharm, Reduce XT by SNS and Inhibit-E (use this at 1 cap/day). This will help mitigate muscle loss, increase your natural testosterone production and help you lean out a little.

Leaning out is mostly dependant on diet and I highly recommend you get on the supplement program mentioned above to keep your gains.

Maybe I was a bit harsh. Let me tell you what worked for me. When I started I was 330+ and couldnt fit in the crunch amchine at the gym. I tried the starvation thing but binges screwed that up. Luckily I had a partner that encouraged me that I was doing ti wrong. So I did cardio 5 times a week no lesss than 30 minutes. All eliptical. Random intensity and speed. I did crunches after wedging myself into the seat and worked my back muscles to begin with. I started eating more often, but smaller portions. I supplemented a protein shake at night. I found a small tuperware bowl and filled it half with rice and half with some kind of indian spiced meat. flavorful and i didnt feel the need to eat alot. I ate the white of boiled eggs for breakfast and fruits for snacks. I did use the old formula Hydroxycut, but now I use StimX. Different I know but i dont want the jitters like before. When you can see a good 10 pounds of weight loss you'll know it isnt just water anymore. My big moment was when i could see my own d**k and put the tray table all the way down in an airplane. I think once you've reached your goal for loss then you can start working on muscle building. Get some red yeast rice, Coq10, milk thistle( better found in a PCT supplememnt). there are others that are good for you and I hope some more knowledgable sources will advise you so you dont end up with a bunch of things collecting dust on the shelf.

best of luck

Thanks guys!! I really dont care about weight loss. I want fat loss, lol.. Im a skinny build guy, so if I concentrate on weight loss only, im going to be very skinny. Im 6 ft tall and weight in at about 195 when I consistantly work out. If I wer to stop for a few months, my weight drops to 180ish. Doesnt working out muscles, burn fat too? Im not concerned about any other fat besides my stomach b/c I feel its my only fat part. Most people say Im crazy b/c im not fat but whatever. I feel like I need to loose some belly, and gain muscle. Is that not possible?

Muscle burns about 20 calories per pound per hour, so yes adding muscle will help you "burn" fat. But understand that the laws of science don't allow you be anabolic (meaning your body is in a state of building new cells, be it muscle or fat or both) and catabolic (meaning your body is breaking down cells, be it muscle or fat cells). If your body is properly nourished, and you are training in a sufficient manner to build muscle ( I suggest getting the book "Beyond Brawn" by Stuart McRobert) you may see a bit of "recomposition." This means that the calories/nutrients you are using are being used to assemble proteins into new muscle cells rather than fat cells. Of course there are many factors that influence how your body uses its nutrients such as hormonal outputs due to stress (under eating and over training stress the body). I suspect you may be doing both.
My main point here is that if you employ a diet consisting of well proportioned macronutrients, with enough calories (about 15 calories per lb of body weight for weight loss is recommended but everyone's metabolism is different so you will have to experiment) SPREAD OVER 5-6 MEALS, combined with 2 days a week of weight training focusing on the big multi-joint moves (squats, bench, deadlift, overhead press, dips) and maybe 2 20-30 minute walks or jogs a week should have you moving in the right direction. Its not going to be anything drastic but it is sustainable, which is much more important than quick weight loss that has you back at square one because you can't maintain it.

If you want a supplement recommendation I would say Extreme labs Whey Protein, its the best protein I have ever used with regards to taste, digestion friendliness, and healthful (no artificial ingredients). This could help you on the nutritional side of the equation for success.

Do yourself a favor and read "Beyond Brawn" if your serious about results! I provided a very very brief overview of the principles outlined in the book that can get you started. Good luck to you!

Anytime bro, I'm young but I've been training for 6-7 years very consistently. I went from being the skinny kid to the the chubby kid but not till I applied the philosophies of that book did I start seeing results. I feel fortunate to have discovered "the answer" at a relatively young age and therefor, I would like to share it with others. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.
