i bettered myself with preparing a massage for the weekend before i start contest prep! still looking for a prep coach! moneys a huge issue right now :( so ill have to get one once i get enough money aka i need a new job that gives more hours and fast
 
Gonna try to get some sleep tonight, got a lot of food prep done after work. Back up at 4:30 to be at the gym by 5 a.m. Gotta get it in while the resolution crowd is still there in the later evening. do not want to go after school/teaching.

That's what I always do when I travel for work. Always empty in any city. The people I work with think I'm a crazy person when I come to breakfast and have been up for hours already
 
Hes came in late by 60-90 minutes multiple times (had to write him up)

Look local, get your feet wet and make sure it's something you want to do before shelling out major $$$. Competing and training are two very different things. I know a number of guys who were 1 and done

not alot of locals who got time right now ya know. and honestly i see your point! I think i wont be a one and done. I love the posing and just everything.

How much you looking to spend? Any Estimated amount? I could get you some good dudes that are legit and very affordable.

i have absolutly no idea. guys are offering me preps for 300-500$ just for a diet and training. i know supplementation, and training just need help on the contest prep nutrition side. Im a clean off season eater but all these carb tricks, sodium tricks all that ish makes my head spin!

What does a prep coach do? I'm not into bb shows, but I was just curious. Do they lay out a routine or is it more diet related stuff?

Adjust caloric intake (i have set macros to hit) and he adjusts them weekly based off the mirror and scale
Cardio --> Adjusts Cardio
Does one implement cheat meals or refeeds
Helps with Posing (Send pictures weekly) also i met my contest prep coach in person (it was a drive but worth it)
Supplements

If you did a meal plan i am sure they would adjust amounts.
Peak week --> HUGE REASON.. sodium/water manipulation, peaking.. etc.. these are KEY to making you look your best.

Been checking out entry level GA Strength and Conditioning Programs in the immediate area. Looking to expand my current knowledge base with conditioning the athletic population

School started back up today. Which means the gym is crazy packed for the first few weeks until I can get info and see when the best time to go is. Even if the gym is packed full, you will find me in there. Also have to work around the school schedule.

College is crazy some are still on break believe it or not (my college i went to is) good thing the little kids are back so i can teach. Winter break is only 1.5 weeks long!

Hit legs today day one of twelve week mountain dog championship season program. To hit my goals of gainzzzzz I'm going to eat lasagna until I'm sick
 
Added deadlifts back in to my back and bi day after a couple weeks off to rest up. They're not technically part of the program I'm following but I felt like I needed more so bam.

And make sure they aren't a magnum donation bucket, one hand doesn't wash the other with some of this ilk

Anyway, to help some of my new year's resolution gains.. somewhat related to the above. picked up my gym bag did the 2 by 6 routine about 5 sets, not taking followed by rows because the dips I did had me tired. Manned up and some 80 dbs after that one superset, rest 60s db extensions. Picked up left and scouted some spots for what is going to be a feast come feb 15 ;)

Heading into to teaching early, got to help a few kids with math tutoring. Least i can do to see them succeed and also help them in the class, just get caught up in long word problems without breaking them down.

So far this year I'm proud to say that I have been 110% diligent on my cardio timing, intensity, and frequency. I hate cardio but recognize both its ability to help get and stay lean, as well as improve overall bodily function and health. Part of my goals this year are to ensure that I don't burn myself out and that I can create and keep a solid routine for more then the stretch of cutting time.
 
Week 2 into my new program and yesterday was legs... I can't get up or sit down today without saying OMFG!

Leg Extension: 2 warm-up sets of 15 reps, 4-5 sets of 12 reps
Leg Press: 4 sets of 15-20 reps
Hack Squat: 3 sets of 10 reps
Smith Machine Squats: 5 sets of 6-10 reps
Stationary Barbell Lunge: 3-4 sets of 8 reps
Unilateral Lying Leg Curl: 3 sets of 10-12 reps per leg
Unilateral Seated Leg Curl: 3 sets of 10-12 reps per leg
Standing Single-Leg Curl: 3 sets of 10 reps per leg
Stiff-legged Barbell deadlift: 3 sets of 8-10 reps
Standing Calf Raise: 3 sets of 10-12 reps

I feel like it's easier for to not only reach my calorie goal but also surpass it when I lift in the morning. Yesterday I ate like a maniac! Going to be hitting the gym in about 10 minutes again for back and will be eating everything in front of me again today.

Seated Calf Raise: 3 sets of 10-12 reps
 
yesterday i joined the 1000 pound club FINALLY!!! hit 405 on deadlift, went up easy actually. for some reason i was super amped up and ready to go/ 15 pounds over what i did last monday, so jacked!
 
Day 2 of PHAT today. Lower Body Power. Squats went well but still having some pain in what I'm assuming to be my adductors during deadlifts. Annoying as hell that it's killing my deadlift but I guess I just have to be easy on it for a while. Patience is what I'm working on in this new year
 
Finally picked up a lunchbox big enough to fit 3 meals worth into. Thrift shopping is AWESOME!!!
 
1.5 hour massage tonight, lady gave me an extra 15 minutes
if i dont hit 435-450 on rack deadlifts tomorrow i will be ashamed. Going to fuel up and get ready to crush it tomorrow.
