Made a make shift donkey-calf raise machine at the gym. Safe to say some people there probably think I'm a psychopath
 
Killed chest today! geez im not gaining alot and its killling meee! ive been increasing my cals and now im up to 4,900 if i dont see results again this week im up to 5,000ahhhhhhhh. bright side though ive leaned out a tiny bit.
 
Another goal i have that is unrelated to a lot of things. I want to do my own tax's this year. Being a business education major and a minor in economics i did take a lot of accounting courses and a lot of things relating to business during my time in college, therefore i want to put my skills to test. I will have some help from others but overall i want to see if i can do all the numbers myself and see how i do. I think this will be a very valuable skill.

I was up at 2:30 this morning watching my 5 year old dry heaving...then woke back up at 5 as my alarm was going off, with a headache, sore lower back, neck, throat and slight congestion, so I turned it if and ruled back over to sleep...ugh, this too shall pass...Bob, bring me some muffins eh?

Today i went running in the rain while my counterparts are all probably taking the day off...then i went did Yoga for about an hour and 15 minutes and capped it off with some oxyelite protein and a hot shower

Can't comment personally but anabeta/elite has been pretty well documented to increase appetite an help build. Might wanna jump on that ;)
 
Made sure I got 10+hrs of sleep today. Making my rest day better after legs/shoulders is gonna be a focal point this year for me to help max growth there.
 
I'm adding much more volume on pulling movements ( rowing, face pulls, chins, pull downs, Etc.) to counteract some imbalances that I have with pressing. This will not only help with my left shoulder (circumferentially torn labrum) stability, but will increase my overall strength as well.
 
Grandma Did me a favor and got me new windshield wipers since i had to work all morning
so I ended up buying my grandma a scratch off lottery ticket, and she won 600$
wtf....

sometimes i wonder if i should start buying stuff for myself.
 
Did chest today. Left the gym and felt like my chest was like a hard rock. Could bounce a quarter off it!

Also weighed myself today. I gained 7 pounds in a month. So excited about that! It was the 7 pounds that I lost in 4 month while at basic training. My bulk is going on strong =D
 
Going into work an hour early. Dont know if one of my co-workers is going to show up, he came in pretty late last week and cant be behind in prepping to get the store open in time. OH well. got to work off the clock a little bit...
 
Watching the games today and prepping a little food for the week.. Hopefully get to the gym and hammer quads if all goes well

What I'm doing to be more accountable and reach my goals would include;

- recording my results much more accurately, whether that be weights, rest times or reps/sets giving me a clear indication of where I'm at and what I need to achieve each session to keep improving.

- I've recorded my weak points and what I need to focus on and address in 2014 for a more balanced physique that I can be happy with.

- planning ahead with my programs to keep it fresh and interesting and to keep growing. As an example, I'm doing GVT (10x10) right now, then after 6 sessions per body part I'll be moving on to 3 weeks of push/pull/legs with 3-4 sets per body part at 6 - 8 reps and returning to GVT training at 10 x 6 as per Charles Poliquin article. After that I'll be moving on to a strength based program.

- Leave my ego at the door and concentrate on form and tempo. I need to back off the weight for squats for example and concentrate on getting much deeper. I'm also focusing on a 4020 tempo to increase TUT. It's humbling to say the least but I feel like I've really achieved something by doing so.

- Smart supplementation including high quality products taken at the right times to maximise my efforts under the bar.

- Taking a good hard look at my diet and again, planning ahead to ensure nothing is left to chance. I'll be eating cleaner and BIGGER and again, focusing on getting a better balance of my macro-nutrients.

- Taking more progress pics to keep myself mentally on track and reminding myself that I need to keep training hard and not give up.

:( well I hope you wont fire him if he was in the hospital or somethings. i mean i hope nothing too bad happend but still hope he has a good reason for all that.
 
Hes came in late by 60-90 minutes multiple times (had to write him up)
i saw it coming....

tisk.....youd think with this hard of a time finding a job people would be more grateful of the job they have now.. im still in school so work comes second
 
Between painting my living room I made sure to make time for my two cardio sessions and cooking the weeks food for both myself and the gf.

Gonna try to get some sleep tonight, got a lot of food prep done after work. Back up at 4:30 to be at the gym by 5 a.m.
Gotta get it in while the resolution crowd is still there in the later evening. do not want to go after school/teaching.

Once you get used to it, not too bad. Just like anything else in life. Meal frequency you lower it you get used to it, sleep schedule.. get use to it.. etc.

Yea I understand. If that was the only time I could, then I obviously would and would have to adapt. I imagine a big positive at that time is it isn't crowded

No resolutioners = no problem getting on any machine, and never worrying about someone curling in the squat rack :)
 
Shoulder workout today was crazy! Got home to start cooking for the week and I dropped 3 eggs when I picked them up and my arm felt like I holding a 100lb dumbbell LMAO. Cleaned it up and went on to cook. Got my pasta done, rice done, veggies done, steak, chicken and boiled eggs for tomorrow. REEEEEALLY want to get that 175 pounds on me!
 
To make my goals of staying lean, today I opted for chicken and veggies and nuts while everyone on shift had pizza hut.
 
Looking to continue my Strength and Conditioning career I typed up some cover letters and essays for 8 jobs today as its about time I took my education to the next level. Improvement in and outside the gym is the path I have chosen.
