Spent my workout focusing on my posterior chain, primarily some lagging hamstrings. Torn 2 years ago along with an adductor and it's still giving me issues. Hopefully this year I can turn them around.
 
How long do you have to hold it down?

the whole time aka once i get the check for the jackpot and leave to cash it im probably gunna puke.... lol im friends with a few guys who hav won it theyre all huge islander linemen for my local college (oregon state)
 
Today I woke up at 4am(thanks to basic training I now wake up everyday at 4) got ready had jack3d and hit the gym for my arm workout. I started Jay Cutler's 8 week to mass program and it was hellish! Went like this:

Rope Push-Down: 3 sets of 10 reps
Dips: 3 sets of 10 reps
French Press: 3 sets of 10 reps
Close-Grip Bench Press: 3 sets of 10 reps
Straight-Bar Push-Down: 3 sets of 10 reps
Barbell Curl: 3 sets of 10 reps
Preacher Curl: 3 sets of 10 reps
Dumbbell Curl: 3 sets of 10 reps
Hammer Curl: 3 sets of 10 reps
Reverse Curl: 3 sets of 10 reps

It was a great f'n workout. Arm were pumped all day specially at work since I'm part timing doing Detail on cars. Arms are always moving around cleaning something. Now I can't even scratch my ass if I wanted lol.

Focus on Substitute teaching and expanding my name for future job opportunities and networking to aid the process. Need to land the full time job, only 2.5 years of substitute experience and i have been called back a few times for 2nd round interviews in the job search, hoping this year over the summer i can finally land one.
 
Helped the gf learn how to do her nursing school math (which was hilarious as it was super easy but shes all social and zero technical)... then had to take out my frustration on some cooking, and cardio. Started at 4am this morning to get it all in before work.

well today just started but yesterday i killed it in the gym, hit a squat PR and went out on a date and saw paranormal activity two. helping with both my goals of competing hopefully early next year by getting bigger and stronger and getting a steady girlfriend this year :)
 
Today, I focused on school to make brain gains

Brain gains? Most zombies say the same thing I think...? Hmmmmm... ;) jk, that's very cool.

Upper hypertrophy yesterday...lower hyptrophy today...some form of cardio, probably hiit plyo tomorrow..

Today was footwork drills and cardio. I have a try out for an arena team in a month so continuing to get in shape for that.

Just got my Testosterone tested this morning. I plan on being more proactive in making sure that I am healthier in all aspects this year.

Gym worker was trying to sign up a newady who just got a your of a gym. Meanwhile a guy who just got done training arms was hanging by the counter wanting to get a protein shake after his workout. He starts to pace back and forth after about 10 minutes as the worker tries to set up the lady with information, payment, and getting a key chain.
The guy still pacing back and forth by the counter left 10 minutes after that because he could not get a shake and said he was going to GNC to buy a protein drink he could not wait any longer

That window of opportunity was not with him today

LUCKY you guys get key chains........ my gym the owner just cracks some sex joke to you and tries to show you all the new supps he got that are now banned like OEP and Craze. my gyms dark, cold, the lighting sucks, the owner is cheap, it smells, and no women want to step foot in it....but hey everyone there knows what theyre doing and we have a sign near the powerlifting area that says "If your routine doesnt have squats, youre a *****.."

Just walk behind the counter and be like. " you using this outlet?" And just go for it

i work at my gym and we actually have a blender, microwave, and a coffee maker behind the counter for us people ask us to microwave food allllllll the time.

Today I hopped on the stair master for an hour which is getting me one step closer to my goal of getting super lean by summer time!

That's pretty sweet. How much of the time do you add protein to a meal? You cooking fiend

use maybe 1 scoop of protein a day
eat around 200g of beef a day (95/5)
eat around 200g of chicken
150-200g of yogurt (Greek/Plain)
low fat cheese/fat free cheese
Trace protein from carb sources
Maybe a few eggs (if i use less beef)

Big fan of whole foods. i am very big in general on micronutrients. Whey being very heavily processed.
