New to the game, Need Help!

I have recently just started going to the gym and have never taken any supplements before. One of my buddies recommended epistane as a supplement to take due to its relative safeness compared to others out there. I have been looking through the forums trying to find out more information about post cycle and on cycle treatments. If I take anabolic extreme advanced pct for a post cycle and anabolic extreme perfect cycle while on epi is this sufficient, if not what else should I take. I was also going to take rpm before workouts and of course a whey protien. Any Suggestions fellas? Thanks the new guy

Don't listen to your buddy. Epistane(an oral steroid) is the last type of "supplement" that I would recommend to someone who is just starting out lifting and has never used ANY supplements before. I repeat: DO NOT LISTEN TO YOUR BUDDY!

You just started working out. Learn to eat right and train right. That will do the trick for several to many years to come.

See my problem is that I need something to get me started and see some quick results in order to keep me motivated to continue to work out. So is there something that you reccomend

If you have to have quick magical results to get you to like doing this, maybe this isn't your thing.

a good diet and training will get you steroid like gains. To be honest when you first start to bulk, the gains are similar to PH. let me tell you something even with epistane your just jeopordizing your health as well as your wasting your money. without proper diet and training you'll lose all those gains ( yes you WILL lose them ) so don't think that epistane will help you gain some quick results. there is no such thing as quick results in bb sorry. You might as well go stuff yourself with pizza and donuts. My natural results have kept me going and it takes a while to get, but in the end it's all worth it to know that you worked your balls off for it.

 smart man.

No shortcuts. The End.

especially in your case where your gonna lose all your gains once your off epistane.

LOL good point, but this is something that I want to get into just for the fact that I am now 27 years old and staying in shape is getting harder to do.

... okay body building is not for you my friend...

We have OldNavy, a guy in his 60's still working his ass off naturally. if he can do it you can too. cut the excuses.

You're the only one that's stopping you from getting into it. If you want it, do it. If it takes more work, put more work in. JMHO.

Definitely not an oral steroid. There are plenty of other supplements that can keep you busy. Like others said, make sure your diet and workout routine are in check first of all. You probably don't need any supplements for a while, but if you insist, I'd probably look into getting a good creatine mix (Ragnarok or Nutraplanet's Ultimate Masspump Stack are both great), or a pre-workout supp like AN's RPM.

Training is a commitment, there's not magical supplement that will give you immediate results, and if you race into the oral steroid arena with no knowledge of what you are doing, you are posing a great risk to your personal health.

EDIT: Damn! Cellar and rpen both got in before me while I was typing up my response

So do you suggest just taking like a whey protein and maybe so rpm before a workout for energy, because isn't rpm pretty much all natural anyway?

Along with proper diet of course

yup. stick with the basics. I was 170 at the end of june. With a little learning and lots of food Im like 192 as of now. It takes time.

You're right I have been the one stopping myself, and I know there is no magical supplement I am just trying to get some good advice from people who have been doing this for a while, and I have been looking into the risks or epi/havoc or m-drol thats why I am looking for more info than just my buddies inputs

I weigh about 160 I would like to be about 170 to 175 and cut up after that just sustain.

much better.

epi/havoc is a PH so you need proper post cycle therapy. Lots of research must be done for first timers. There are lots of risk with things like PH. Epistane is considered a mild PH. Without proper training/experience/diet epistane just isnt right for beginners. of course you'll gain mass on epistane but without either of those 3 on your side, you'll start to take steps back. Without proper discipline thats where you can get into abusing them.

you'd be surprised what natural gains do for you. I thought I would be happy where I am now back when I was 170. Nope. It's always good to keep goals. nice way of motivation. As long as you have a direction you know where your going instead of walking around aimlessly.

One of you mentioned creatine what about dicreatine malate or citrate

creatine is a GREAT supplement. I find that creatine is extremely underrated. If you ever get the chance, look into Green Magnitude by Controlled Labs. I did a log for White Flood and Green Magnitude. Since you already have RPM (I think so at least) you dont really need White Flood (you shouldnt stack stims) Green Magnitude, Sour Apple Flavor is REALLY tasty. I mean REALLLLLY tasty. Ive heard the lemonade is really good as well. almost a 3 month supply of it assuming you take one scoop every day for 36 bucks. Awesome bang for you buck.

forgot to mention Green Magnitude is
Dicreatine malate

Thanks gents for your inputs I think for now I will stick with just a whey protein, and some creatine, and maybe some rpm before workouts for now until I learn more about PH's and make sure I have the discipline and drive to stick to the gym.

Dont have the rpm yet but my friend does was going to use it unless you suggest something else

One other question are any of you into nootropics like phenibut and such I no it has nothing to do with working out, but was just wondering.

i have not used phenibut or anything like it myself. I will tell you that I heard that it works, but a tolerance can be built if used too much. You should really use the search button if you have questions. It's very easy to use and avoids questions being answered a million times.

Cant understand why you folks dont put learners onto gear, sure diet and proper training are good, but to not reccomend anything is crap. I started only a year ago, and have eaten so many pills and powders it isnt funny. Now im a big lad mind you, at 6"3 and 275lb, so my body could and does absorb a lot. And i tell all my mates to try what i do, as long as you dont shove too many pills down ya neck you will be alright!

I started as a big lump at 300lb, dropped a lot of fat and have started hardening up now due to combining 3 or 4 oral nasties together, and im still in good working order, my hair is in place, balls in order, no moods, so why wouldnt you get learners onto the supplements! As long as they arent too young and are keen, well give the body a head start, bugger the rules.

I agree with these guys, 2 things you can get if you want to buy something are Multi, and a good fish oil. Also Im not saying dont get a protein powder, but i would get on here and read some of the articles section and nutrition section, and and get yourself a grasp of the concepts of nutrition. Understand why your eating , what you need to eat, and when you need to eating it. Once you do that alot of other things fall into place.

I guess thats 3 supplements I am recomending, Knowledge, multi, and fishoil.

Whatever you say, buddy.

Um...NO!

In a phrase....No offense, but your buddy is a jackass for recommending that to you! Your starting out....Epistane is for advanced users and guys who have been in the game for a while who really know what they're doing. Seriously man, your body is your temple so make sure you take care of yourself. Do your own research and decide what you want to put into your body.

By all means, make sure you start eating right, training consistenly, and start with the basics like creatine, protein, EFA's, BCAA's, and supps for your overall health.

If you feel you need supplements to see results than that is your first problem. You are mentally screwing yourself from the jump! Do not risk your overall health just to see some fast results because in the long run you will pay for it dearly. If your that worried about how to do things PM me and maybe I can steer you in the right direction. I'd rather you get some good advice so that way you don't F*ck yourself up!

Dude your buddy is dumb. You just started lifting and he told you to take a steroid.. be smart and never listen to him again. All you need right now is to EAT ALOT and get jug of protein.

Here is the only thing I would recommend right off the bat:

Diet, multivitamin, protein, fish oils, BCAAs, creatine. Something like a White Flood or RPM will help if you want a preworkout kick in the pants.
