So I’ve been back In the gym and made some phenomenal changes. So I’m gonna throw out some advice that no one prolly wants. Lmao. But here it is
-stop training with your ego. Your body will thank you. Whether it’s a pound up or down, a minute gained or saved , or a foot further or an inch less, whatever your goals are…. progress is progress. It doesn’t have to happen in a week.
-whether you train with bro science or real science chances are most of the time it’s not gonna work. Figuring out what works best for you whether it’s training, diet,or rest it’s a daunting and everlasting experiment of trial and error.
-the most beneficial thing I think most people aren’t doing enough of or even at all. Carries. Lots and lots of carry exercises. Any/all you can manage. Don’t take my advice. Incorporate them for 30 days and decide for yourself.
-form and mobility work. I don’t believe it’s the key to the physique you may be chasing but I do think it’s crucial to minimal pain/injury to maintain uninhibited training. Which I do believe is the key to what you want
-cheating. It helps overall. As long as it doesn’t become a habit. Been craving pasta?? Eat a huge fucking bowl. Be happy. Go train ur ass off and put it to good use. Got to wiggle or bounce to set that pr?? Go for it (as long as your not damaging your body). It’s good for confidence and that promotes gains. But keep a close eye on your mechanics. Tighten up that form before you make any more attempts at anything more.
