For now I wouldnt wait. Follidrone works incredibly well as it is.
We will likely continue to sell just plain old epicatechin because its very good. We will also release a new product that has some.....upgrades.

Give Follidrone a try. You wont be disappointed.

Ok, It only took todays, But I am all caught up. The Dr. just put my wife on some Cholesterol Medication that cost like $ 150.00 per month, I might have to get her some Follidrone
 
The new epi product is absolutely blowing my mind right now. Easily in my top 2 or 3 all time favorite supplements and I cannot wait for everyone to try it themselves. Just wait until you get your hands on this stuff.

Abstract
BACKGROUND: Prospective cohort studies showed inverse associations between the intake of flavonoid-rich foods (cocoa and tea) and cardiovascular disease (CVD). Intervention studies showed protective effects on intermediate markers of CVD. This may be due to the protective effects of the flavonoids epicatechin (in cocoa and tea) and quercetin (in tea).

OBJECTIVE: We investigated the effects of supplementation of pure epicatechin and quercetin on vascular function and cardiometabolic health.

DESIGN: Thirty-seven apparently healthy men and women aged 40-80 y with a systolic blood pressure (BP) between 125 and 160 mm Hg at screening were enrolled in a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, crossover trial. CVD risk factors were measured before and after 4 wk of daily flavonoid supplementation. Participants received (-)-epicatechin (100 mg/d), quercetin-3-glucoside (160 mg/d), or placebo capsules for 4 wk in random order. The primary outcome was the change in flow-mediated dilation from pre- to postintervention. Secondary outcomes included other markers of CVD risk and vascular function.

RESULTS: Epicatechin supplementation did not change flow-mediated dilation significantly (1.1% absolute; 95% CI: -0.1%, 2.3%; P = 0.07). Epicatechin supplementation improved fasting plasma insulin (Δ insulin: -1.46 mU/L; 95% CI: -2.74, -0.18 mU/L; P = 0.03) and insulin resistance (Δ homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance: -0.38; 95% CI: -0.74, -0.01; P = 0.04) and had no effect on fasting plasma glucose. Epicatechin did not change BP (office BP and 24-h ambulatory BP), arterial stiffness, nitric oxide, endothelin 1, or blood lipid profile. Quercetin-3-glucoside supplementation had no effect on flow-mediated dilation, insulin resistance, or other CVD risk factors.

CONCLUSIONS: Our results suggest that epicatechin may in part contribute to the cardioprotective effects of cocoa and tea by improving insulin resistance. It is unlikely that quercetin plays an important role in the cardioprotective effects of tea. This study was registered at clinicaltrials.gov as NCT01691404.

so I don't know what this means, does epic need to be enhanced with some of the other additives for absorption (bioavailability)? Or can just regular epica be taken on its own but higher dose to get the right effects? I am interested in using it for my next cut in a little while.

While there is both data showing decent oral bioavailability and a whole host of positive anecdote around. There is also alot of people who don't get much out of standard -epi.
 
I have been using Follidrone From Black Lion Research and have been very happy with the results !

Epicatechin isnt terrible with regards to absorption. There are studies showing it raises follistatin levels 250+% in 5 days. This wouldnt happen if it wasnt being absorbed.
That doesnt mean there is no room for improvement though and there are actually some things that work well to assist absorption.
We found 2 compounds that have research to support their use as well as positive results from extensive internal testing we ran. Its taken a long time because well....guys have to cycle regular epi and log certain stats. Then run it with additives and log stats and over and over and over. We started this testing last year shortly after Follidrone was released.
One of the issues was that most of the things we tested didnt change anything. Literally no change from baseline with regular epi so...we had to continue testing until things worked.
We finally found 2 ingredients that worked well. Combined they are incredible. The improvements are significant from plain epi.
Also I found 2 new Follistatin increasing compounds.
The new epi product we are about to release has a high dose of epicatechin plus 2 new follistatin boosting ingredients each that worked well by themselves, and 2 absorption enhancers. Combined this stuff is the strongest natural product Ive ever seen.

We will still make Follidrone so everyone has access to exceptionally pure epicatechin.
The new product is a whole new beast. Not even really comparable to regular epi. its much much more.

We will maybe start some logs soon. Currently we have both a strong oral AI and a transdermal AI and fat burner about to be released.
I dont want to have too many products releasing at once.
 
And...Follidrone doesnt need any absorption enhancement to work well. Its great just like it is.
Its exceptional for cutting as it helps assist with fat loss but also helps you retain muscle mass.
The perfect natural cutting tool.

just started up on follidrone again yesterday..can't wait for the new BLR EPI to hit the shelves!
 
OK brundel, new one for you. I've been giving blood for years, started an epi run a month ago, give blood, all of a sudden the red Cross calls me up to donate platelets because my "platelet count is exceptionally high". Is it possible that epi promotes platelet and white cell count increases? I've never EVER had them call me about platelet donation before, now they want me out of the blue.

I havnt read anything to indicate epi elevates platelet count. Ill look into it. I wouldnt be surprised though.
 
I hope this doesn't sound silly but does this mean all the products with just epic in it are the same pretty much? for example, there is follidrone, Follidrex, and few others that I can't think of right now. It just looks like they all have the one ingredient (epic) so is it just quality of the ingredient or does it not work like that?

Ingredient is -(-)epicatechin

It can vary,
some use proprietary blends so we son't know the amount in each serving

Some boast higher % extract

Some have extra ingredients
 
News about the timing of the commercialization of the " new follidrone " ? We are all waiting feverish xD

I can't say without guessing on a timeline. But I do believe the next big focus is on perfecting the BLR preworkout. I could be wrong though. Maybe brundel will share an update:)
 
The Epi product is still in the works. We are running alot of testing with not so common ingredients and we also plan to include 2 new actives.
Its going well but I cant give you a for sure date for release. We do plan on running another round of tests in about 10 days after which we will determine based on the data if this batch works best. If so we will use this one.Of not we will revert to the last which everyone LOVED but....research indicates the new blend will work much better.

The pre is taking some interesting turns. In the process of trying to bring a new beast to the front and in trying to use new ingredients some cool things have happened.
1. we have potentially found a new naturally present stim. It looks redic but we will see. I should have some for testing in about 10 days.
2. I have also found a few other new ingredients. One of which I think may either become a new transdermal or a new sublingual. We will see.
Testing will continue until I am satisfied.
IF the new stim works well the pre will be ready soon. Maybe 60 days.

Finally we are also working on some new more mainstream products. Stay tuned for more info on this. Follow us on Instagram BlackLionresearch.com
