New E-pharm product: URSOBOLIC !

Leave it to Mr. Arnold to bring a NEW Innovative product and ingredient to the market. He's yet to fail the consumers.....so hopefully they will keep that in mind whenever the competition decides to piggy back off his R&D and bring a similar (identical) product out. Reward those who spend the time, effort, & money it takes to bring new products and ingredients to the consumers.

With that being said, I'm excited about getting my hands on a bottle.

interesting enough , the rest of the industry has watched and waited to assess consumers point of view on this product , and to say the least its been very mixed.

i spoke to Mr Arnold a while ago via this forum on this product and asked how he arrived at the dosage and if any tests had been done on humans currently weight training to arrive at the dosage as per the directions on the bottle -no tests were carried out prior to general release. So as i understand it , the dosage was determined by interpreting the amount given to the mice.
despite my reservations i tried this but was bitterly disappointed.Because of my body weight i took the lower dose of 9 perday .I was also disappointed that apple peel wasnt used as the ingredient but a fruit called Loquat It is also known as Japanese plum[SUP][1][/SUP] and as Chinese plum.Had apple peel been used , we may have got more capsules for the same money as i assume it had to be sourced from countries like japan , china or the meditteranean basin , pakistan or hawaii, which all adds to the cost..Something like 2500 varieties of apple grow in the USA.so why wasnt apple peel used?

so to my earlier point ,where are the clones ? It would seem that euphoria in the industry over this product hasnt got off the ground and E-Pharm stand alone as the sole provider.

Bringing this product out on the back of the succesful DAA was a big mistake , and in my book did little to enhance P As reputation
i also didnt like the gelatin capsule -two toned which must have involved a dyeing process -what was the dye? The capsule itself was bovine gelatin -The waste of animals , skin, bone etc are used to make gelatine So the product couldnt be used by a vegetaran bodybuilder.

Ursobolic is selling well, it would appear that quality extract is hard to source and there have been several other products that have Ursolic acid in them, they don't specify amounts though and Pat's is still the only purely Ursolic product out there. As far as the dye I am certain that if it were in a clear capsule, someone would complain about it. I am not going to open up the vegetarian argument, but if you are looking at it from a waste standpoint, these animals weren't slaughtered for their bones and connective tissues, they were slaughtered for meat. Using the rest to make gelatin doesn't cause wast it prevents it

Vegetarians cause more death and destruction than meat eaters. Think of all the death they cause because of their selfish behaviors of eating so many vegetable and soy products.

Farm land needs to be cultivated to produce these evil veggies and soybeans so many earthworms, and insects doomed to suffer repeated slow deaths due to aggressive farming and poisoning from pestisides.

the extract is from rosemary.

apple peel extract is not sold and probably because it would be prohibitively expensive

and btw, the rosemary extract comes from china. china is cheaper than any domestic source and that goes for about everything from pharmaceutical ingredients to supplement ingredients to widgets. maybe you werent aware of this

sorry we dont use veggie caps

i have never heard gelatin referred to as waste. Its no more waste than is leather, or bone meal, or the bovine serum albumin that they use in biological sciences

any part of the animal that is used for products is, by definition, not waste

I was saying the same thing he had argued that using the bones and connective tissue was waste, I was saying it is merely a way of constructively using the entire animal

he might as well rail against whey protein. after all, his argument would consider it "waste" from the cheese making process

your expanding the argument bovine gelatin is waste because if it wasnt for making gelatin capsules , it provides no nutritional benefit and therefore the skin and bones would probably be in a heap on the slaughter house floor waiting to be disposed of.

There is nutritional benefit in consuming whey.

I think you are wrong there. gelatin is a protein. Albeit it is not a great protein source because it lacks tryptophan and is low in a few other aminos. However it is high in glycine, proline, and hydroxyproline - three amino acids which are very important for the maintanence of connective tissue. In fact, there are several studies demonstrating the efficacy of gelatin in the treatment of joint disorders such as arthritis, and also in promoting growth of healthy nails.

So not only does it serve a useful function for the manufacture of capsules, it has some health benefits as well

i read more recent articles on inclusion complexes of ursolic with cyclodextrins and i tried to make complexes myself. Its a dead end. A cursory glimpse of that patent suggests that they are using all kinds of surfactants and stuff along with the cyclodextrins to acheive a clear looking solution

the interior of cyclodextrin molecules have a polarity similar to methanol. so if your stuff dissolves in methanol (and is of the appropriate size for a particular cyclodextrin) it may form an inclusion complex. ursolic acid is virtually insoluble in methanol. therefore it just doesnt form inclusion complexes to any meaningful extent
