New and need help

Just joined this site. I am a typical hard gainer, tall and thin. I have been working out for 3 years now, experimenting with various supplements and having moderate success with gains. My routine now consists of the following: l-dopa in the morning and afterworking out, no-xplode prior to working out (more for the caffeine effect though), and ZMA before bed. I started out using the diet tracker. What I think will be a typical day is 2500 calories (need more i know) 225 grams protein, 36% fat, 37%protein, and 26% carbs. I weigh 183lbs. I was hoping to get some feedback or advice on supplements that work and diet plans to put on lean mass.
Thanks!

First of all I think your carbs are too low I would go 40 40 20 and your probably going to have to eat around 4000-4500 calories a day maybe more depends on how fast you burn them up. I all has to be good food too. Any junk you eat will be room in your stomach where good food could have gone.

The reason you have not had great success is instead of experimenting with what really counts (diet and training) you have been experimenting with supps. Supps do screw all if your diet in not down and your not training properly. The only way your going to be able to do that is to have the patience to learn how your body reponds naturally. Supps can come later when you really know your body.

I have put 20 lbs on an ecto in less than 2 months with nothing but diet/protein powder (very little) and proper training.

Oh yah just so your know, yes there are a lot of good supps that these companies put out, that really work. They won't do you much good though if you don't know what you can do without them. There will be a time for supps be patient. These companies know there supps work and know they don't get the credit they deserve if people don't know how to use them properly. That's not the way we work around here. That's why this is the best bodybuilding board around.

Thanks DreamWeaver

Thanks! I guess I should have put more info on more important things. I change my workout about every 6 months or so. Right now I am on a very difficuly split with mon, tues, thurs, fri on. Wednesday is abs with the weekends off. I use the L-dopa for two reasons - 1st for the alleged stimulator of HGH and 2nd for the overall mental well-being having had anxiety in the past. As for my diet, I know that I have to add to that. The other problem is that I have an adrenal malfuction which resulted in me taking two corticosteroids every day - muscle wasters. Hence, I am trying to keep the protein as high as possible. At any rate, thanks for the advice, I am going to increase my carb intake and shoot for 4000 cals per day.

Good start by I see one glaring error in your routine. Change your routines much, much more often. The longest I would run a routine for is 6 weeks, 6 months is not going to get it done. Maybe it was a typo.
