Need this one answered

So now I was talking with some friends and I'm tring to cut up, I eat pretty good multiple meals a day mostly protein based lots of veggies etc..... So anyways they also say I shouldn't be using and protein supplements what so ever and should completely cut it all out
 
protein wont hurt. usually people try to get 1.5 or more times their bodyweigh in protein. so shoot for 300 grams total a day. theres no harm in getting some of it from a supplement, its cheaper and more convenient most of the time. especially when on the go. like when im working a short shift, like 5 hours and i cant take a break, mid way through ill drink a protein shake and get in 40g protein and it will help hold me over till i get off.
 
Exactly and right now I take muscle milk and they swear it helps the body cutt up and all the research I have done contradicts that's completely
 
eh, save your money. it tastes amazing, but id just go with All The Whey's protein from nutra. its pretty cheap. if you want the fat content you can add olive oil (which also helps boost testosterone) and if u want carbs, put some uncooked cold rolled oatmeal (its like a dollar for a big container) oatmeal in a coffee grinder and turn it into a powder. then you can just mix either or both with the protein. then u can have a meal. i like to mix oatmeal and protein post workout, feel like it helps me recover better.
 
The oatmeal I will have to try I only eat my otmeal in the morning usually with some fruit or a bannanna or something to that affect.. It's hard for me to get All my meals in but I try, and I know a guy that works for gnc and he gives a bunch of little snack size protein bars I eat here and there as well

Hey man, stay away from the protein bars but protein is PERFECTLY fine :D. I used it during my NPC contest prep and won for the second time this year. So it will only help you get in your protein requirements for the day. Here's a pic just so you know that what I'm telling you is legit. These guys that are telling you to use protein know what they're talking about so just chillax and use whey! :thumbsup:
