Natural PDE5 Inhibitors?

What are some natural PDE5 Inhibitors/Blockers? Are their any foods/drinks/supplements/vitamins/etc... that can be taken to inhibit PDE-5?
 
do you mean stuff to get boners?
 
Icariin should fit the bill perfectly. Heard the taste is worser than CEE at a 20% extract, wondering wether it might be worthwhile getting some still in bulk form or not lol
 
Was just reading another thread on another board this. Member Ex Dubio posted this:

Based on this paper, the IC50 of sildenafil is 0.42 and the IC50 of icariin is 4.62 for PDE5 inhibition. Thus the dose of icarrin should be approximately ten times a given dose of sildenafil, thus approximately 250mg-1g for typical use.

But icariin has also been shown to have long-term effects on increasing erectile function through eNOS modulation, as I recall. So for long-term use, you may never need to use a dose that is quite so high.

At any rate, you're looking at taking about 1-2g of a 20% extract to see substantial short-term effects. It has essentially no side effects of toxicities that I am aware of, for what it's worth. I was fairly impressed with the 20% from 1fast400, but I'm sure there are better sources.

If you used an extract not standardized for icariin, by the way, you might as well be using a placebo.

We usually have 50-100 kg of the 40% icariin at any given time in our facility- it is some fun stuff to play around with.....

try 1 gram of Epimedium standardized for 40% icariin or 500 mg of the 98% icariin if you can get it- I have done some experimenting, and the effects rival pharmaceutical PDE5 inhibitors- be careful though- if you take too much, you will start seeing all kinds of tracers, spots, etc. b/c of the increase in intraocular pressure

where can you get this stuff?
 
On Thermogum's site they've got a 50% extract in capsule form (500mg/cap, 100caps)

Some of the bulk powder sites had 40 or 50% icariin- Nutra had it for a while- not sure if they still have it or not- they were selling it in 50 gram increments.....

Would you say that the effects are similar to the pharmaceutical PDE5 inhibitors or doesn't come close?

Yes and no- the effect "down there" seems to be much more pronounced with the pharma PDE5 inhibitors, but as far as peripheral vasodilation, highly extracted icariin definitely shines. Icariin at the dosages that I mentioned will also have an effect in the aforementioned region, albeit not as strong as slidenafil or taladafil.....

Interestingly enough- you will actually get visual disturbances at much lower relative dosages from high doses of icariin than pharmaceutical PDE5 inhibitors. These compounds are very efficient at increasing intraocular pressure (part of the peripheral vasodilating effect)- you have to be careful when dosing them

Just based on my personal experience, having tried others like Icariin 50%.

BTW, it works even better stacked with Cnidium Monnier 50% Osthole.

I disagree. I agree with your overall concept, but if someone could produce an OTC PDE5 inhibitor, they would be a million dollar supplement company overnight. The biggest problem is that pharma companies would lobby to get it banned, wouldnt want to cut profits out of viagra/cialis profits.

Agreed, unfortunately the big pharmaceutical companies rule and would squash any potential competitor in an instant.

Osthole has some pretty good research to go along with it- but it has some really unpleasant sides in some people. I was looking at putting it in one of our products, and actually had to stop multiple versions of a new product testing trial because of it- several testers had really bad nausea and headaches. We couldn't figure out what was causing the issues at first- we originally thought it was an interaction between two other ingredients- but when we took them out, the issues continued- so we finally narrowed it down to the osthole

Yeah, I get really bad sides from Ostole. I took pSarm and felt like I was going to die.. Like I needed to throw up but couldn't. Bad headache too.
 
Interesting. I get absolutely no side effects from Ostole. Now, with Scabrosa sometimes I get insomnia.
 
Thinking of getting myself some 45% Icariin extract, about 3 months supply and doing a continous run at 1gram per day specifically for Libido increasing properties. Any extra benefits in performance at the gym will be icing on the cake. Looking forward to it already.

Thanks man, theres going to always be other supplements I'll use over the coming months if I took this so Im not sure if a log might be honest of me to put up, however I'll definately PM you my results and experience the best I can.

I have psychological spontaneous impotence and doubted anything could help... I tried the little blue pill several times with no improvement... I later tried Ci**s and felt nothing UNTIL there was a little erotic stimulation the tingling grew and grew until in a few minuets I had a rock h**d you could poke thru a steel drum... No exagerration... and it lasted over 4 hours and I had complete ejacjulatory controll... This is probably my only post, I only joined so this information might help someone that has suffered as I have from ED... Oh and a little info... Im 58... Was then 55... The 20mg ci**s pill usually gave me a headache and blurry vision... I began cutting it in half and took a half every other day... No headaches, normal vision and the same enhanced performance... goodluck...
 
topical passion parties creams actually have arginine HCL in the formula and its topical so its direct.... but its nota PDE5 inhibitor so no tht refractory eriod bounce back....
