Napalm question...new to the topical stuff

Hi all, I'm a newbie to the Topical stuff, I have read through quite a few posts here and just wanted to ask a few questions. I ordered a bottle of Napalm and want to see good results. First, my stats:

30 years old, 6' tall, 200 pounds, around 20% bodyfat.

First question...at 20% bodyfat, I can see an outline of my upper abs and a glimmer of my lower abs. I was a kid with a gut my entire life, I have NEVER seen my abs, and I am determined to get to single digit BF% by July 25, 2008. I got down to 12% BF last summer, and I honestly looked about the same, much of my fat is held in other parts of my body. How long does Napalm take to work, is it something that has to be used for two straight months, or if I go mega strict on the diet and cardio will I see results quick?

Also, Napalm and Cap....is it really worth the pain, is it that much more effective? If so, what is the best way to go about using it, mixing it together, seperately applying it?? Clen seems to not be for me.

Thanks for any help, all, I am really hoping to get ripped up for this trip in July. I have the willpower, but like I said, my gut has gone up and down over my life but never away. I lift four days a week heavy and have a good build, I just want to strip this fat off my abs.

Expecting to get ripped in one month is severely unrealistic unless you stop eating and start insufflating meth.

Yeah, it would have been better if you could have started this cut farther out. It'll be tough to get the point you want to be at in the short period of time specified. How long it takes Napalm "to work" depends on many different factors so it's difficult to say how much progress you'll make with it.

However, you can definitely make some improvements in that time. Stick to a very low carb diet and HIIT style cardio for best results.

As far as whether or not the pain with capsaicin added is worth it, nobody can answer that for you, unfortunately. It will likely be very painful and only you can determine whether or not the pain is worth the results you get.

x2.

People need to remember fat loss is a marathon - not a freaking sprint.

Not to flame the OP, but I get so many emails with this same tag line. "Hi - I want to lose XX lbs of fat in a month."

Don't procrastinate! (Directed at anyone looking to cut sometime in the near future.)

I started my summer fat loss at the end of February.

Thanks for the responses, guys.... I actually started cutting my calories down in April, I was at about 26% BF, 215 lbs. I have lost about 6% BF since then and 15 pounds, through pretty clean eating, heavy lifting to retain muscle and cardio in the morning.

The date I am shooting for is July 25, that is about two months out, and I am down to about 19% right now...I cut down from 20% BF to 13% BF in about five weeks last summer doing morning cardio everyday combined with HIIT and a good diet, so I thought it was a realistic goal to get down to 10% in 8 weeks...that is one of the reasons I ordered Napalm, trying to get some extra fatloss.

The pain factor with the cap isn't a big deal to me, I was just wondering how much better the results were VS no cap.

Thanks for helping me out, really appreciate it.

I couldn't take the cap. I don't have a comparison of Napalm with it vs. without.

I did do a review on Napalm/clen - just click the hot chicks link in my signature.

Until you've tried it, you really have no idea how painful it is, especially while you sweat it out. Also, what assessment are you using for fat loss?

That being said, fat loss is not a linear line. Going from 20-10% is 10x easier than going from 10-8%. Once you get to sub-10%, it is very difficult for most to maintain that without a very disciplined diet and training program.

And a generous amount of Sesathin.

Cap may or may not be painful to you. I've used quite a bit of tinglers in tanning lotions and cap does not hurt me at all. So it just depends on you, Napalm is a great product so you should enjoy the results.

Yes losing fat can be done quickly but it costs muscle, mind you I don't think it can be done as quickly as you are aiming for. 12% may be attainable but it will cost you some muscle like I said, and it's one tough road. You would have to go on a precontest diet of some sort. High protein low carbs and fairly low fat. Eat hyper clean, no bread or anything of that nature. Eat a ton of fibrous carbs. Eat some Oatmeal in the morning and maybe a yam at lunch, that is all the starch you could eat really. Don't start at too much of a calorie restriction at first leave room for adjustments. Your going to have to do a ton of cardio to get this done so fast.

Save the napalm till the last part of your diet.

Man, you all are great, a lot of really helpful stuff.

I am going to go with using my Napalm in about three weeks, with my diet and cardio routine (I am amping it up over the next month), I should be at around 16% by then, if the Napalm works as well as I have read than I will buy another bottle to get me through to my goal date. I have no illusions about getting down to lik 6% by that date, I just want to be flat stomached and have a decent midsection. To the poster that asked about how I measure BF%, i have a scale that does it, and I have compared it to calipers, and it is always within a % of the caliper testing, I use it at the same time everyday, etc.

For the diet, I have been tweaking it and I am eating mostly green vegetables, lean protein and I take Ultra 40's from Beverly Intl three times a day, they really seem to help me hold muscle while burning fat. I eat minimal carbs, mostly in the form of wraps on chicken and the occasional sweet potato.

I have always read that getting into ultra lean, %5-6 BF is crazy difficult, what is the secret? Ultra strict diet, carb ups, etc? I may keep going after my trip and try to get down to single digits.

Thanks again, all of you.

PS. I haven't seen anything about my napalm order since Thursday, is Nutraplanmet good about getting your stuff out in a timely fashion? I did the 2 day Fed ex.

Make I science of it use Invalid Link Removed to track what your eating. I would drop the wraps just eat the chicken. You should be eating even more protein that you would on a bulk. When I cut for contest I start at around 2700 calories and end up around 2400-2700 this is over about 16 to 20 weeks though. I am usually able to maintain the fat loss rate throughout the diet by making adjustments in diet and add cardio.

Napalm isn't going to give you any noticeable results unless your already under 12-13% BF

The secret is that there is no secret. Patience and discipline along with busting you ass in the gym will get you there. I'm in the process of getting back there myself and am ~7% right now. I kinda do a carb cycling, but not in the traditional sense. Monday and Thursday I don't have enough time to eat enough, so those are my "low" carb days. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday are normal, and Saturday is my refeed. I train 2x/day Monday-Thursday with Friday being just a conditioning day and Saturday is a long (3+ hours) training session with a mix of grappling, sparring, and power training.

I was thinking about trying the Napalm once I hit 16% to see if I notice a quicker loss in the % of BF I have, and if I feel like it is working well, I will order another bottle and run that. From what I have read you have to be in a caloric deficit to get the full effect, and I will be in a 300-400 calorie deficit while running it, so I an hoping to see good results. I will use the fit tracker, I have seen the tools here and they are very cool and just what I need.

Hey Rodja, what's a good example of a refeed? I have read a million different things on them, and I have heard that it should be clean carbs, you can eat junk and it will actually work better, that you shouldn't go overboard, that you should eat like a madman.

I eat really clean Mon-Fri, I add in a few more carbs on Saturday and I have a cheat meal on Sunday...I am planning on cutting the cheat meals out for the next two months, but if a refeed each would help me drop more fat I'd definitely try it, I'm just honestly no exactly sure what is most effective.

All these tips are helping me focus, and I just found out that my Napalm is on the way. Sweet.

I look at it more from a performance perspective, so I like to increase you carb consumption by about 150g, 100g from complex and 50g from fruit. I have found that this helps me to keep on a stricter diet than having a full-blown cheat meal and I feel better as well.

This wouldn't work for me, as well as using fibrous carbs, body type really does come into play. I can get down to around 10% doing thinks like carb cycling. Sooner or later I have to use the dreaded precontest diet where about 100 grams of carbs come from fibrous sources and less than 100 from starches. It's hell but it works for an endo like me, who really has no business being less than 10%. My partner did not have to get nearly as strict and easily got down to 4%. He was eating chicken wings 3 weeks before contest. Also if your more of an endo like me cheat meals are out. Yes this is deadline dieting your talking about no room for cheating. Remember endo's are not made to go this low, you have to force it. If you were 26% I have to assume you are an endo and can't take advice from people who are not because your going to have to do things that others won't find necessary. I can get very, very low but the price is very, very high.

I should mention that I train over 20+hrs a week combining weights, conditioning, grappling, sparring, and cardio.

SesaThin is a great supplement to combat the VAT gain that endos are prone to carrying.

I am using SesaThin as a staple in my diet. I also take fish oil, I am finding a good lipid profile does help yes.

Yah that's a lot of training I am close to that at contest time, if you take into account posing and practicing routine. I find my perfomance does diminish when I get low as it is so unnatural for me to be low in body fat. I am most athletic around 15%.

Yeah, Dreamweaver, I am definitley an endo. I can work out heavy and eat well and I gain muscle pretty easily, but when it comes to burning bodyfat, it is hell. I think much of it is from the fact that when i was a kid i ate a steady stream of McDonald's and grew the gut, but the rest of my body stayed relatively skinny. I have worked on my upper body to the point where I am evened out and look pretty strong, but I still have never been able to get completely lose the gut and see my abs, just an outline of the upper two and a glimmer of the middle. My problem area is definitely the lower stomach, it just stays, and stays...I think I am going to have to get to like %5 BF if i ever want a chance of seeing those lower abs.

I may try this sesathin, what is it exactly?

If sesame oil, helps your lipid profile.

May I make a suggestion, up and down dieting takes it toll. What I am doing is slowly losing body fat while I maintain mass. Crash dieting always costs muscle which slows down our metabolism. It takes longer to get lean when you recomp but you become more proficient and losing just fat. Aim at losing 1 lb a week and try and maintain/gain your strength in the gym using more of a maintenance type diet with a small calorie deficit. Get rid of the timelines and simply change your life into this style of living. Slower improvement over time. In the long run you will look and feel better.

I may try this sesathin, what is it exactly?

From Website:

"Sesamin is a naturally occurring lignan present in sesame oil. It possesses great potential for decreasing fat mass and in fighting obesity and metabolic syndrome, via its effects on fatty acid oxidation and adipogenic gene expression. And, with research showing very strong correlations between inflammation, oxidative stress, obesity, and metabolic syndrome, sesamin’s anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties could be just as significant, if not more so. It also has the potential to stack very well with other supplementsthat modulate these systems, such as LeptiGen, stimulants, androgens, and Ab-Solved.

To summarize:
# Increases fat burning
# Decreases fat storage
# Combats elevated cholesterol
# Potent anti-oxidant
# Potent anti-inflammatory
# Hepato-protective
# Stimulant free "

I should mention that I train over 20+hrs a week combining weights, conditioning, grappling, sparring, and cardio.

I went yesterday to pick up more Sesathin liquid and my other bottle of Napalm finally arrived. Hey Rodja, quick question for you:

I know the bottle says 1.25ml, 3 times per day. 1/2 of that for those already lean and double that for those who store fat easily... etc. I'm kinda at the point where I don't know how easily I would store fat and I don't really want to find out either. I'm already dosing Forslean (100mg active), Anabolic Pump, P-Slin, GTE, and a couple other things that really help keep fat off. Is there any harm in dosing the Sesathin @ 1.25ml 5x per day? Is there any reports of lethargy from too much sesamin like there is with TTA? Thanks again, as always.

I may order some Sesathin next week after I get paid. One of the big factors for me as far as getting into shape has been money, I eat clean and healthy, but sometimes it’s hard to keep chicken breasts and vegetables in stock all of the time, and many of the supplements I read about that seem really expensive are too expensive for my wallet.

I have been slowly losing BF since April, at a rate of about 1.5-2 lbs a week, a little less some weeks. I haven’t been crash dieting, just eating clean and staying away from bread and any processed foods. I am going to try and burn off a good amount of fat over the next eight week, but I won’t starve myself by any means, I’m just going to tweak the cardio and diet each week.

Two guys I know that are in that 8-10% BF range, one a personal trainer (he is more like 6-8% most of the time) told me that once a person gets lean and cut, the maintenance part is easier, because they can eat perfect 95% of the time, but if they binge on a pizza or beer one night on the weekend, they just burn more in the next
workout, for them it’s a matter of their numbers. They tell me getting there is about the hardest thing you’ll ever do, but once you get there you have not only created great habits for yourself, but you can get away with a bit more.

That’s my focus, just getting there. I’m off to the gym.

Well maybe if you eat clean 95% of the time but if your an endo you will have a hard time maintaining below 10%. It's just the way your built. People who maintain lower than 10 are a different body type. I make up for it by being huge. lol put that in your pipe and smoke it you lean bastarrds. Yes I am jealous...

This is generally true because getting there is hard, but maintaining is relatively easy. You can be slightly more dirty with the diet, but you must still have the overall discipline in all aspects (lifting, cardio, and diet).

Easier maybe but not easy. This is the one thing that has always escaped me. A lot of it is because I was a competitive bodybuilder and the philosphy at that time was to bulk and cut and it is hard to bulk clean (for me anyway). So getting there was always easier for me as the rules where very cut and dried. Yes it was harder work to get there but there was no grey area's.

Now I am attempting to adapt a lifestyle of constant improvement. I call it perpetual recomp. I don't have to worry too much about muscle size but I am in a constant war against fat. Sometimes I slip a little but I always get back on track. Long term goals allow me to have a much more enjoyable lifestyle. I don't compete anymore so there is no longer a need for deadlines.

Got my Napalm yesterday, I am preparing to start next week. I am down to 18% BF, I am going to run this bottle of Napalm with Cap (if the pain is bearable)....is it best to just use a quarter-sized amount of Cap rubbed in first, and then apply the Napalm, or should the two be mixed?

Also, I read elsewhere that a good program is morning cardio, shower, than apply the Napalm. Is there any benefit at all to applying it and working out a few hours later?

Thanks, i'm looking forward to this product!

Waiting 3 hours will be enough time for the carrier to penetrate the dermis and allow for absorption. As for the cap, use the Napalm first, then apply some cap to the area.
