napalm: 12 weeks to WPC Worlds...ya, really...

Lol, that's how they send it to me. Costs me a whopping 7 bucks. This isn't the playground son...
Wait, wut?!?! 8 mls of Pfizer test cyp (brand name) @ 200mgs/ml for $7 via mail order? I pay more than that per ml with a script, for Watson, in 10 ml vial. Alas, I only get 140 mgs per week.

Good insurance is good...

Well, I hardly can complain. I get 15 weeks of shots for $10, albeit generic. And I actually could get 3 vials for the price of 2 through mail order, but I would rather be less directly monitored (than by insurer's pharmacy). I can actually get away with refilling my scripts far sooner than when they come due through my local pharmacy, so I do keep a stockpile just in case coverage changes -- or I decide to through caution to the wind and get hyooge with all ya'll monsters. ;)

Heh, my prescribed dose is more than what I inject. The first thing I do when I get my stash is put two vials away for rainy days...

H8 you. It's rainy and snowy here in Ohio if you want to send a vial or 12 this way.. ?

Lol, you're still mad because the buckeyes were exposed as frauds...

I was never under the assumption that we were actually the second best team in the nation in the first place. But I damn sure wouldn't have apologized for the opportunity to play in the national championship game.

Edit: and I'm still pissed off about that game. 4th and 1 lets run it outside with Braxton when they haven't been able to stop Hyde all game. Better yet no one this year has been able to consistently. Hopefully Fickle gets fired too.

Blah.

24-1 isn't bad. We're only going to get better with the recruits Urban is bringing in. OSU is going to be a force for the foreseeable future. Sorry, not sorry.

Edit: 24 straight wins. Stretching 600 and some odd days. The number one song in the nation was sexy and I know it. Think about it.

We singed Ross off the practice squad and released our return man this week = two returns for td's. This has been a crazy game...

And uncle urban is going to be a pain in the ass for the big 10 for a long time...

They're obviously the premier conference in college football and the table has been set for them to win yet another chip. They must pay more down south, lol.

I am an SEC guy. But don't count out the Noles, as much as I hate them. This should be a good game. The one I wanted. Well, I would have preferred an Alabama rematch, but knew that wouldn't happen. No way the Noles were going to lose to the Blue Devils.

Urban the traitor, so says this SEC guy! Man that guy pissed me off. But I still love him for all that he did for my team.

Bring back Spurrier!

As a lsu fan trust me you dont wamt bama in a NC game after beating them in the reg season

Ohio state weak schedule is what hurts them. The big 10 is weak right now and with that amd ohio playing bs games out of conference is killing them. Meyer did try to get Florida state out by releasing the info on Winston

I agree the big 10 is down. Our non conference schedule is weak, but so is Alabama's and most SEC schools.

FSU's SOS is even worse than OSU's. I rarely ever hear that mentioned. That's why I believe Auburn will win pretty convincingly.

I dont disagree. I am just talking about the two best teams, IMO.

Reminds me of when my Gators beat the Noles for the national championship, after losing to them earlier in the year. What a confluence of events that required.

Bench

Warmup
Band pull aparts x 1k - these things are starting to help my shoulder flexibility.
Internal/external rotations 60 total
Bar x 1k
95x2x10
135x5 triples

Work
145x5
165x5
185x5

Assistance
135x4x10
Vbar push downs stack x 4 x10
Db rows 5 sets of 10 w 60
Face pulls 5 sets of 10 w 67.5

Thoughts,
Decent day, a lot of volume for a old man from the west side. felt the need to do some extra pulling after all that pressing so I tossed in the db rows. Shoulders seem to be adjusting to the extra volume pretty well. I really credit the band pull aparts for that.

Got a hold of JJ from Detroit barbell yesterday, he's on vacation and will be back later this week. I'll prolly head down there and pay for 3-6 months when he gets back. I'm gonna just keep on benching the rest of this month and start there the beginning of the year when I'm done w physical therapy.

Good work. Sounds like a good plan.

Napalm says fúck what you heard about old dogs and new mobility.

Really like the addition of extra pressing AND pulling volume. Dividends will be reaped in the mass and strength department.

Thanks herder, this is just prep work so I don't embarrass myself when I make the move to DB. Some big boys play there.

There's just something in me that says:,'you better pull some kind of shyt for a awhile'

They send you 8 weeks at a time?

That's 3 months. I go 60 every 4 days...

Ahhh, makes sense. I get 3 months at a time as well but your dose is a little higher than mine is. I don't much care for the 1ml vials as I find them tedious and annoying. I'd rather get the 10ml vial.
And I don't pay as much as you either.

PT:

Some new stuff today. Lots of air squatting on the pillow things and the hardish 2x2 pad. Then she broke out this contraption that is curved, and there's rails on the thing with a pad that slides on the rails with bungy cords to adjust tension. The goal is to keep your foot on the pad and go back and forth on the rails. The thing is like 4 feet long.

After that was some calf raises on the half foam roller, then some lunges on the half ball. Calf and Achilles are really stiff now.

Carry on...

Do they have you doing anything to counter the stiffness or is that part of the process?

It's related to the work I'm doing there, and also the healing process. Scar tissue has prolly grown over the tears on the Achilles and soleus. I try to keep it stretched as much as I can, and get out if the cube farm and walk around every half hour or so.

There were two vertical tears in the Achilles, I don't know how that relates to scar tissue development vs a horizontal tear, but I imagine there's gonna be quite a bit. Soleus was a 50% tear, and I'm guessing that's the source of a lot of the stiffness and pain in the calf I'm having...

I figured it was scar tissue in the area, but wasn't sure if they planned to do much to mitigate the amount that accrues.

Good day today, deadlift.

Warmup

Static stretching, bar stretches, hip flexor stretches.

135x2x5
185x2x5
225x2x5
275x3

Singles 295, 305, 315, 335, 345

Assistance
Pendlay rows, strict as fck
135x2x5
155x2x5

And a new addition,

Wait for it

Hammer curls! 3 sets of 7 w 40.

Thoughts:
I'll give myself a b+ today. Only reason is that my Achilles pulled hard on me twice during my setup, not the pull. Rodja why is this? I'm confoosed about this.

Everything came off the floor good. Pendlay's were violent, tried to pull the bar through my body to the ceiling. Pretty sure I could yank 405 right now, a pretty good base coming off an Achilles.

'Twas a good day...

Very nice Napalm. Astonishing that you are in recovery, pulling all that weight. No joke. Keep up the good work. It'll come back fast.

My right calf is about 2/3 the size of my left :(

I no see why you care bout this. One of my non big toes is bigger on my left than right.. You don't see me complaining. I can still walk and everything

Holy smokes Napalm when the hell did this happen? I've been slacking bad over here on AM it seems. Keep trucking
