So apparently I have weak Achilles. After doing like 60 of the heel ups yesterday, my lower calfs are a little sore today. Gotta find a place to do them at work today...

Well, if 275 is the number than 233, 254, 275. Wendlers .85 for the first, .925 for the second has served me well.

Full disclosure: today wasn't a stellar day. I wasn't feeling too good, but gave it a run any way.

Fcking kids are germ factories.

The heel is now a concern. I'm gonna skip tomorrow I think - I hit a little more than my opener last week - and squat on weds, then the next Friday then shut it down.

I'd like to give it a little more time. I've been air squatting and I think I'm finding a groove that minimizes the aggravation. Whether that transfers to the same groove under load remains to be seen...
 
You're good for 275 for sure.

That's a good plan. And it's like my explosive squats yesterday and Toro's heavy squats from a couple weeks ago: It doesn't much matter if it feels like ****, if the tape says it was fast, then it was fast.

Same. My first meet we were deadlifting and I hit 425 slow as molasses in the W/U room (with 475 being my first attempt) and I'm thinking "I'm going to look like an a$$hole in front of everybody." Smoked all three. Same with my benches and deadlifts in this meet. I failed with my opener in the warmup room about 10min before I got on the platform for my first attempt. Smoked that too.

Leyland takes a lot of heat around here for his sticking w veterans, Donny Kelly baby (DKB!), not sitting Cabrera when he got hurt and crap like that. I think he's a great manager who got us to the alcs for the third yr in a row...

Well there's a lot of talent on that team in an ok division, it has improved since years past. I like leyland from when he was smoking cigs like a boss in the dugout

Only about 25 yrs. Lou and tram not in the hof is a crime. Morris will never get in because the writers hate him.

There's a lot of travesties as far as the HOF is concerned (see Dale Murphy). Seems like so many guys get close in their first couple of years of eligibility and then it just goes downhill. I don't like that writers that never played the game have such an influence over who makes it. If you could never hit a 90mph slider, your ass doesn't deserve an opinion.

Why wouldn't Sandman get a unanimous vote??? I don't see any absurdity in that, whatsoever. He deserves a seat in the HOF, regardless of where he played. The dude was basically lights out for close to 20 years and is the all-time leader in saves, and has a career E.R.A. Below 2.50. He's a shoe-in.

He's been a great postseason hitter. He's only had really one bad moment, but hey I bet many would have froze on that nasty wainwright breaking ball. ( talking bout mets- cards nlcs)
 
Big papi is hitting like .500 off of tigers pitching this year. We did get 4/7 from them though.

This is gonna be good. If Sanchez has his shyt working, he's tough to hit...
