Myprotein Whey Flavors

Got small bags of Chocolate Caramel and Double Chocolate to try because of this thread. Thank you to everyone who reviewed flavors, it was very informative!

No prob.

One thing I forgot to add was that the blend was thicker and creamier than the straight impact.

Chocolate brownie is on point. Tastes like brownie mix haha.

I have a bag of the pb cup, but haven't opened it yet. I'll let you know when I give it a try though

Keep us posted!

For now all I can update on is the UNFLAVORED mix.

There isn't really a strong/bad taste to it, so it mixes well with most things.

I've tried juice, milk, soy milk, plain, 1/2 + 1/2 with other protein flavors (tends to just make them less string tasting...

And my personal favorite: Unflavored with Orange Tr1umph!

All worked well. I'll be buying up more unflavored with my next order guaranteed.

I am ashamed to say that sometimes 1/2 of my daily protein comes from powder : (

Its that "on the go" convenience. Plus sometimes its hard for me to get all my macros + cals in for the day if I'm too full from meat etc.

T-Bone, I remember you saying the lemon cheesecake was bleh. Do you feel like all the "cheesecake" flavors will have that odd taste?

I just ordered peanut butter cup, unflavored, double chocolate (thanks to your review), and **drum roll** a 2.2lb of Pecan Pie.

I'll be opening the peanut butter cup upon arrival so I'll report back if no one else dips into theirs by then. I figure worst case I can mix it with the chocolate, or dilute it with the unflavored if its not the best.

Same problem I have ha. Prob 20+ flavors open but wanting to try the pecan pie, pb cookie, and rhubarb and custard I have too

I'll let you know how the pecan pie is in a week or less.

I didn't have the stones to try rhubarb & custard (though I thought about it).

I have PB cookie, Cin Roll, fudge blend, and something else that I thought would be good to cook with on the way as well.
 
Working thru some of the blueberry (non cheesecake) flavor, really happy with that flavor... Still waiting for a really smooth deal on the lemon cheesecake, then going to get that...
 
I know Woody was looking for a review, I finally opened the Peanut Butter Cup.

Taste was surprisingly good. Not sure if you've tried the PB Cookie yet, but the peanut flavor is similar to that. Its a mild peanut taste, which made me dislike the PB Cookie. BUT, when you add in the sweet chocolate flavor with the PB flavor, its pretty damn good. The flavor is mild like most of the rest of their proteins, but the chocolate flavor really helps bring more sweetness and power to the flavor.

PB Cup isn't my favorite, but its close to the top. My current rankings are as follows:

Double Chocolate
Chocolate Brownie
Chocolate Caramel
Peanut Butter Cup
Sticky Toffee Pudding
Vanilla
Banana
Apple Crumble
PB Cookie
 
It seems that chocolate flavors are pretty good.

I have tried natural chocolate. Some notes:

1. It was not as powdery as the other flavors. More like tiny grains.

2. It was lighter in the stomach, like being an isolate kinda

Taste: one of the top flavors to me. It strongly reminded me the SRO chocolate by VPX. Im sad I placed an order a few days back and didnt include this flavor as I hadnt tried by that time

Yes sir, or in just regular microwaved oatmeal. My ratings are based on just powder and almond milk, which is why the Apple is so low on my list. But if you add it into oats with some cinnamon, its delicious.

I've been looking for a new breakfast.

I eat 4 eggs, turkey bacon, 2 slices of PB + honey toast, and milk. Getting kinda bland. I'll try the oats out
 
***PECAN PIE***

Smell: sweet, notes of pecan, notes of chemical

Mixability: same as every other flavor

Taste: 2/5

Tried it in water. A bit bland. Some nutty notes, but doesn't really taste like pecans at all. More sweet than flavorful. Fairly notable chemical aftertaste.

My least favorite flavor that I've tried thus far. Chocholate Mint is still my #1.

WILL NOT BUY THIS ONE AGAIN.
 
Would anyone be willing to ship me samples of different flavors? I'll pay the shipping. Would like to try a scoop of everyone's flavor. I can return the favor also
 
Also - FWIW, the have samples for .99 in Chocolate Brownie, Chocolate PB, Rocky Road, Sticky Toffee Pudding, and Stracciatella.
 
Cappuchino is pretty bad.

I have tried about 10 flavor and vanilla was by far the best. It took me trying 10 different flavors to finally try vanilla since I usually hate vanilla. Will never order any other again (besides my pineapple for intra, but that is not tasty at all, i just mix it with powdered gatorade and it's fine).

Which vanilla?

I was not a big fan of the "natural vanilla." Chocolate mint is my fav so far.
 
I actually enjoyed the Pecan Pie flavor, however I always mixed it with milk. Currently using Cinnamon Roll, I am not a big fan of it as it doesn't seem to mix as well as some of the other flavors do.

I tasted:

Total protein straweberry: e****lent
Total protein vanilla: seemed like no taste at all
Bedtime Extreme vanilla: tasted like flour
Choco-caramel whey: e****lent

I have unopened choco-brownie and choco-peanut butter
 
From My Protein I have tried:

Chocolate Banana: * This is nice and strong tasting, slightly artificial 4/5

Chocolate Mint: * This one tastes like after 8 chocolate mint thins and was very nice i did not get sick of this even after going through a 5KG bag 5/5

Rhubarb and Custard * This tastes similar to the real thing and was nice to have as a change from the regular flavours 4.5/5

Mocha * Very nice dark choc coffee style flavour , one of my favorites from the range 5/5.

Banoffee * Great mix of banana and toffee 5/5 again one of my favorites from the range.

These are all for the Impact Whey 80.

I have tried the vanilla casein in the past and found it to be very bland, almost like having just sweetened water.

I second the double chocolate. I've also really been enjoying the Chocolate Peanut Butter. You guys missed the coupon code malfunction the other day, I picked up an 11 lb bag of white chocolate for $13.49

Choco peanut is just ok for me. Starting to get tired of it already though (5.5lb bag).

Chocolate mint is my fav thus far.
 
Contemplated 11 lbs of milk smooth but option of Choc Smooth was gone. Fok, 11 lbs of (almost all) casein for $60 would have been nice.
 
I like everything lol. I'm down to try whatever, I'll be making ice cream out of it eventually. I'm on prep so everything is good
