My SD cycle..looking for suggestions/opinions/feedback

Hit back & shoulders today. I am getting stronger which rocks. I haven't seen any weight gains this week though. Also, I haven't seen any sides. I'm thinking of upping to 30mgs next week. Any opinions? I'm stuck at about 182.5lbs.

Workout went well but I was slightly drained. Everything's alright so I'm in business.

I'm probably going to hit chest again tomorrow, arms on Sunday. We'll see.

Anyone have any reasons or ideas why I may not be seeing any gains week 2? I gained about 6.5lbs week 1 and I was on 10mg/day.

I'm running low on creatine & protein. Fixing to order some more tonight, well at least protein wise. I'm debating whether to go w/ NO-Xplode & Cellmass again. I'm open to creatine suggestions so let me know.

if your gains have slowed considerably then i suggest you look at your diet. you can say to us you got your diet in check but ask yourself if you really do. you should make gains for sure this week and if your not then its not the hormone that you have to blame.

i did the same as you and gained 6 lbs my first week, week 2 only 4 lbs and 3 and 4 together i only gained another 7 lbs. i did bump to 30 mg my 3rd week but thats cause how i set up my cycle not cause i "HAD TO" and still made the same progress strength wise and gains through the last week back at 20.

either way good luck, maybe you will want to bump up dosage but dont expect to see any weight changes just by doing so. either way good luck.

IMO, 5.5 of those 6.5 pounds you put on in the first week were probably fluid related. There is a good chance that you are putting on some LBM but at the same time losing some of that initial fluid weight. Keep off the scale. Focus on your workouts and diet. Stay @ 20mg/day, make adjustments to your diet & workout. Rest is a very important factor in building muscle also, so make sure you get plenty of it. I would also recommend cutting your kcals to around 3000. that many kcals @ 20% BF is excessive in my opinion. You don't want to support the fat just the LBM.

Thanks for the advice guys. I have begun training more frequently, getting rid of some off days so I can maximize workouts while ON cycle because I think my old workout was slightly inefficient.

I'm going to run another diet analysis starting tomorrow for 4 more days to check my intake once again.

I'm sleeping at least 8 hours every night. I wake up in the morning feeling very, very refreshed (I hear it's cause of the Anabolic Matrix RX I'm taking).

I don't think I'm going to up the dosage just yet. I think I'm going to run week 3 at 20mgs & then run week 4 at 30mgs.

I have noticed changes in my body although my weight hasn't changed. My muscles do feel much fuller & harder. I am stronger, I could even say much stronger than before. I feel more defined, slightly more cut. I'm not sure if I've gotten bigger because I do see myself every day. I'm a douche, I should've measured my body before I started this cycle. Hopefully the before & after pictures are enough.

Anyways, that being said, please pardon this interruption while I dance....

lol. well sounds like its definately working for you but who knows why gains are stopping. just make sure your getting the right nutrients and and the right time, thats key. sounds likeyou should be doing ok and like jonny21 said its very likeley that your still gaining lbm and just losing water and or fat at the same rate. youll be well off to do weekly weigh ins and not daily, most of all use the mirror and if you have it a digital camera to measure your on cycle gains. good luck bro and heres a little company to dance with:djparty:
 
Hit chest today. I'm in love.

Did 225lbs 6 times in bench. Last week I could only do 185lbs 6 times. Threw up 165lbs in incline bench today too. My shoulders were in a shitload of pain though. Probably because of yesterday's workout. I think I might've overdone it. Whatever.

Still no sides so far. The only thing I've noticed is that my balls have gone higher (closer to my body). They're seriously just chilling there. They haven't gotten any smaller, they're just higher up, like right before when you're going to cum how they get sucked up into your body. Same thing. They don't hurt or anything nor are they smaller, so I'm not terribly worried yet. I'm sure they'll drop back down during PCT when I'm OFF.

Tomorrow I'll probably do arms again.

I'll weigh myself tomorrow morning & let you guys know how I'm doing. It's a pain in the ass staying off the scale but I've come to the conclusion that I'm going to weigh myself every Sunday & look for changes.

So far, So good. I think I'm just going to order more NO-Xplode & Cellmass. They've worked till now so why not?
 
I had a lot of trouble sleeping last night. For some reason unknown to me I had a MASSIVE headahce that wasn't going away. I popped 4 Motrins & passed out. Woke up this morning feeling fine. I've gotten headaches like that before but it had been a while. I don't know what caused it, could've been a lack of rest or the fact that my roomate & his band were tracking drums all day...I don't know.

Anyways, weighed myself this morning. 184.2 lbs.

Still got two more weeks to go. Still at 20mgs this week. Might work out arms today. I'll let you guys know how it goes if I do.
 
Hit arms pretty softly today. Tomorrow I'm taking legs off because I have an assload of work to get to. Very unfortunate. I'll be hitting the gym again on Tuesday hopefully for some back & shoulders. I'll fit legs in sometime this week to make up for it. Ah well...

You mentioned a pre-existing issue with high BP, have you checked it lately? Could be the culprit. Hawthorne berries could possibly help.

Sup dude

It seems you having some problems with the nutrition side of the cycle. The SD cycle will demand a large amount of carbs.

I consumed baked chicken breast, fish, beans, rice, turkey pasta, potatoes, oatmeal, peanut butter and jelly sandwich, veggies, fruit and plenty of water. If you’re on a budget, make a large pot of pasta and that will cover your carbs.

Now regarding the workout>>>

I didn't go into details regarding my workout on my log because I didn't find it useful to include it in the log and I didn't feel like typing all that info.

But

I focus mainly on the mass building routines. I did DB incline press, bench press, shoulder press, back rows, deadlift, squats, str8 barbell curls, pull-ups, dips, upright rows, head crusher triceps ext, leg raises and crunches.

Hmmm, regarding the back pumps you will need to increase the Taurine and add an extra banana to your diet. You might have to let the back ext go for a while because it might make the back pump worst for you.

Their has been other users that had headache on their cycle. Some of the users couldn't take the pain of the headache...So, they cut their cycle short and the headache stop.

Can't say for certain where the headaches are coming from. Low blood sugar, dehydration, high BP, change in atmosphere:think:
Seems like a reasonable dose of Hawthorne. See how it goes, you could always back off on the SD if it gets unbearable.
 
Well I haven't had a headache since. I've been spreading the dosage out a little more throughout the day and it's worked. Before I was taking 10mg in the morning (about 12/1pm or so) & another 10mg at 5pm. I figured maybe they were too close together.

Back pumps are no more, at least not lately. No sides except for a bit of agression I did notice in me, which I'll explain at the end.

I'm working out shoulders & back today. Can't wait to get back in the gym, for real.

Quick, first off thanks for all the advice!!! I am upping my carbs these last 2 weeks of my cycle to maximize the gains.

I'm staying at 20mgs this week, thinking about upping to 30mgs next week. I'm going to see how this week goes then decide.

Anyways, I was at the library last night studying for a test I had this morning. When I got there I saw an open table & I was calmly walking to it. The day had already been shitty so I was on the verge of blowing up. As I'm walking to the last open table on the whole floor, some deutschebag kid decides to sprint to the table & beat me to it so he could have it. I continue walking up to the table & put my laptop down when I get there. The kid doesn't even look at me. I lift my arms up & slam my fists into the table. Then I calmed down, looked around & saw everyone was looking at me so I picked up my laptop & went down to the third floor.

So yea. I'll post up how the gym went today. Hopefully amazing.
 
ok im speading my dose about 12 hours apart, 10 mgs before trainign and 10 before bed, but what ive noticed is last night i have a very big situation sleeping, is anyone or has anyone noticed this?

As in you're having trouble falling asleep or you're getting huge wood?

On that note, I didn't stop getting wood today. It was insane.

If I was you smeton, I would take the other 10mgs a few hours before sleep. I'm taking 10mgs in the morning & the other 10mgs 20-30 minutes before workout.

Hit chest today. My roomate & gym partners were pretty impressed at my strength gains. I was putting up some serious weight. I incorporated decline bench because I want to hit my lower chest & get it to pop out more/more cut up.

The only difference I noticed today was that I didn't feel the same chest pumps as usual? I'm not sure why? I kind of felt like I was OFF? I'm not sure. Anyone have any opinions or input about this?

I'm definitely considering upping to 30mgs next week since its my last week. I'm going to see how the rest of this week goes.

Tomorrow's arms..Thank God. I'm also going back home to Miami for Thanksgiving break.

LOL! I've been like that for 2 and a half weeks now. It's seriously never-ending. Today I was in the library trying to get some work done and literally every 8 minutes or so I'd get a raging boner. I swear it's like someone could swing off it lol. :toofunny:
 
Ok, ok. I'm in Miami now (& already missing Gainesville). I didn't hit arms today cause the 5 hour drive killed me man. Anyways, I'm going to hit the gym tomorrow & go for bi's, tri's, & chest. We'll see how that goes. Hopefully the pumps are still there. I'm definitely starting 30mgs next week & upping the Taurine to 3gs & Hawthorne to around 1600 or so mgs, whatever 565x3 is, hah. Oh & I also will be upping my milk thistle, I forgot exactly by how much. This is just a precaution seeing as I'm going to be taking more SD.

I'll post up about how tomorrow's workout goes.

My fam & brother-in-law (ex workout partner when I lived here) all said I've gotten much bigger. Pretty glad they noticed. Also a friend of mine told me a mutual friend saw me back at school & asked him if I was "juicing". We'll see what my two best friends say tomorrow when we hit the gym.

Ok, so the day before yesterday (I think?) I hit bi's & tri's with my two best friends that I hadn't seen in 2 or so months (since the begining of the semester). First off, one of my best friends mom asked me if I was taking steroids & proceeded to tell me how bad they were for you, etc. I insisted I wasn't & she told me it was pretty insane how I had gotten so much fuller in such a short period of time. As soon as we got in the car my friends looked back at me & said, "Damn, those gorilla hormones must be working, huh?" In the gym the were staring at me in awe with their mouths wide open. I was doing weight that I only dreamed of before. IT WAS INSANE!. My arms were looking pretty good & for the first time, I caught some people giving me quick glances. I was all smiles & internal fist pumps inside.

Everyone has noticed my increase in size. From my parents to their friends to my friends to my sister & her husband to random kids I went to highschool with. It's really great. My ex gf gets in on Wednesday for break from Chicago. I really can't wait to see the look on her face. The biggest she ever saw me was in the 170 lb range. Now I'm at around 188lbs. Ah, it should be interesting. The rest of my friends are getting in on Tuesday. Also can't wait for their reactions.

Today I hit chest. I got a pretty decent workout in. I'm dead tired right now. Went to the UM vs Georgia Tech game tonight, even though I'm a Gator. I'm contemplating leaving Miami early for the UF vs FSU game this coming weekend seeing as I have tickets.

Anyways, back to business. Everything's been going well thusfar in my cycle. I'm up to around 188lbs & starting my last week on Monday. I was seriously considering upping the dosage to 30mgs. ANY OPINIONS? Along with upping the sd I also plan to up the Milk Thistle, Taurine, & Hawthorne.

It's getting late. I have a shake waiting with my name on it & a nice cozy bed to pass the **** out on considering I'm currently dead tired. I'm probably going to hit shoulders & back tomorrow. I'll post up on how that goes.

well ive been taking phenibut for sleep and its working. Pumps seem normal, so far i dont notice a big difference in pumps . Im going to stay at 20 mgs and this week is my last week btw im 215 lbs so so far ive done 10/20 and 20 this upcoming week unless i change my mind. im taking azelaic acid and nizoral for haircare, and all the precautionary supplements. I have gotten stronger , and so far so good.

Libido is staying the same, although one day i was spouting wood all day long but after that day i havnt been nearly as horny.:box:
 
Does sd cause or somehow inidirectly lead to hair loss/thinning? I naturally have thin hair already but I was just wondering. If it does, does PCT help it any? And what precautions should I be taking as far as hair care? I'm kind of getting skecthy about going into 30mgs/day now. I don't weigh 200 lbs nor do I want to worsen any prexisting hair condition I may have.

Listen to what you are saying. Re-read what you wrote hear. Here is a brief synopsis of your cycle after 3 weeks; up 10lbs., up in strength, up in size, no sides, and this is @ 20mg. Why go up to 30mg? You are getting great results as is. Besides save it for your next cycle. Focus on getting your PCT together to keep what you have gained.

Very good point:goodpost: . I should start thinking about PCT. I already have everything together, I just need to plan it out. I'm probably going to run Rebound XT for 4 weeks or so at 75/75/50/25 along with Reduce XT but I'm not sure as to what the dosage or how long for this. I think a 4 week PCT should cover a 4 week cycle? Or should I run a longer PCT? Anyways, SNS Reduce XT is pretty much the same as Lean Xtreme so any feedback on dosage would be great. I'm also going to continue running Hawthorne, Thistle, RYR, CoQ10, RYR, etc. I'm also thinking about picking up some Fenugreek.

Before & After pics will be up at the end of this week once my SD cycle is over. Then again at the end of PCT along with bloodwork.

4 week PCT should be fine. First I would have Nolva/Clomid available just in case. Check out some posts by Dr. D re: Fenugreek.
Rebound 75,50,50,25(56 caps) s/b ok

Now I have not tried the following yet, but I am going to next week. I am going to start my Lean Extreme @ 1 cap/ day while I finish my last week of anavar. I will continue it during PCT 1,2,2,3
 
iwas checking out the 2 from SNS and DS and it says that SNS is a propietary blend of both the alpha 7-OH and beta 7-OH and the DS just says 7-OH. does anyone know what the DS version consists of? is it all alpha or a blend? does anyone know their are significant differences between the 2 isomers? DR D?

I would go with a SERM like Nolva if it wasn't for all the fine print (not for human/animal usage?). It kind of freeks me out. I don't feel any sides & have been checking my balls & nipples for shrinkage or gyno respectively & have found signs of neither. I think I should be fine with the Rebound XT & a cortisol blocker like Reduce XT. I have searched many posts (such as Quickryde's) & noticed that they did just fine with no Nolva or Clomid. I know some guys swear by it, but it just freaks me out.
 
Nolva/Clomid probably not needed but you never know, hence the "just in case". ****, my first SD cycle I did no PCT and everything turned out fine. I think you will be fine with the Rebound. The cortisol suppressant is also necessary in my opinion.

As far as I know, they are both the same compound. I'm not exactly sure so don't quote me on that just yet.

Hit shoulders & back today. Kind of sad that my sd cycle is coming to an end after this week. Haven't weighed myself in a while. I will at the end of the week though. Still no sides. My hair stylist (sounds gay but she's not a barber so I don't know what the hell to call her) noticed a slight thinning of hair in my vortex (back top of the head). She recommended some Rogaine. Now, I've always had some baldness in that area as both of my parents sides of the family suffer from baldness. I also have thin hair. I was wondering if this could be related to the sd? I'm not freaking out cause I'm not losing hair as massive rates or anything so I'm sure it's not anything that a little Rogaine can't take care of. Anyways, I'll probably be back tomorrow. Well, first off UP!!!

Second, hit legs, bi's & tri's today. Going to wake up at 4am to hit bi's & tri's again.

Saw two ex highschool classmates at the gym. First thing they asked when I finished doing my dips was, "Wow bro, howre the roids working out for you?" I smiled & said, "Roids? Nah, Muscle Milk." :head:

Everything is still ship shape. I'll continue posting as the week goes on.
 
Well still no answers, huh? Went to the beach today & then wakeboarding...what a day.

I'm getting ready to hit the gym again today. I figure I'll hit chest. Post up when I get back.
 
Hit the gym today. I hit my chest hard & did light bi's/tri's. I was impressed with my chest strength spike. Last week I was benching 225lbs about 6 times. Today I got up to 8 or 9 (forgot how much) & did 245lbs 5 times. I swear to God I could've gotten wood while benching (wouldn't that have been great? lol). Everyone I saw at the gym had the same response. An old friend of mine asked me if I was "on the big S." I love it! My sister was asking me if I was taking steroids too because my brother-in-law cannot comprehend how I got bigger & stronger so quick.

My ex comes in tomorrow & I see her Thursday if everything works out. I CAN'T WAIT!

They're coming man. This is week 4 for me (my last week) so they'll be up probably this Sunday or Monday. Then the log will continue with PCT! Exciting, isn't it? I'm kind of sad I can't push more weeks of SD. I mean I feel fine but I don't know what kind of effect this is having on my body, so I'm not going to push it.

I weighed myself today at Publix (with clothes obviously). Suvery says, 189lbs. Soooo close.
 
Yea cant wait to see the progression pics as well. I have put on 25 lbs. in about 5 months and i think I have gotten maybe 2 comments so far haha. Its great to see how you have put on size, gained strength, and have no sides!

I'm just going with the basics, Rebound XT & SNS Reduce XT as my cortisol inhibitor. Then I'm continuing all the side supps as usual. I don't see the need for Nolva/Clomid seeing as I haven't really had sides. Maybe if I had gyno or something I'd use Nolva. I'm just not a fan of all the fine print when it comes to these things.
 
FIrst & only "side"..I woke up this morning & I have slight joint discomfort around my elbows & shoulders. Nothing too bad, the pain is very minimal. Anyways...shake time.
 
WOW, ok! My first SERIOUS SIDE, and I mean SERIOUS. Today I was lifting & as usual, I had to pee. So, I go to the bathroom & start peeing but then my pee gets stuck & I'm like, "WTF mate?" I kept pushing & a huge lump started moving through my shaft, kind of like a snake eating a mouse & pushing down its body, but in reverse. I kept pushing until a lumpy ball came out. I freaked & grabbed my sac only to realize I only had 1 nut!!! I had peed out one of my testicles.

j/k...thought thatd be funny lol.

No, but seriously I hit shoulders & back today. Workout went great as usual. I'm loving it. Yet again, more comments on how much bigger I've gotten. I've been tempted to post before & after pictures now instead of waiting until the end of the week. I don't think that a few days is really going to make a difference, but we'll see. Anyways, still no sides except for the joint pain. I'm sure it'll go away soon.

About the Nolva/Clomid and "fine print", that's only there for legal reasons. Nolva (Tamoxifen Citrate) is a prescription drug - therefore you can not buy it without a prescription. It is made available as a Research Chemical for you to use, but since it is being sold as a research chemical, THAT is why it is stated that it is NOT intended for human consumption. If you where going to use it for human consumption, you would have to get a legal prescription to do so. This way, you can buy it as a research chemical to feed your lab rat after his PH/AAS cycle. Understand? ;)

Don't worry, it's fine, I've used, many other people have used it, it's all good man.

Now as far as the hair loss goes, I can offer no advice there. I've been going bald since I was 22 (and I never touched any type of hormone/androgen untill I was 26), it's just hereditary for me. I looked into Rogaine, Propecia, but I didn't want to have to take a pill every single day for the rest of my life just to hold onto what I had left. Looked into those surguries where they take the hair from the back of your head and implant it up top, but those cost like 8 grand for a GOOD surgeon. So, I just said F*** it, and shaved my head bald. I'm talking with a razor every day. Good thing for me I look good bald! I love it, and so do the women :D

Look into getting some Nolva, and some Fenugreek. At the very least get the Fenugreek, it's cheap and works. PCT is a VERY critical time. You NEED to keep what you gained, and have your body realize that your new weight is the weight that it needs to stay at. You don't want to loose all the gains you made 3 months down the line because you cut calories or didn't get your natural test up and running again and your body ate away at all that "extra" muscle mass. Remember, the body sees muscle as a LIABILITY and it does NOT naturally want to carry around all that muscle. ;)

Yea. The human body intrigues me. It's most likely to store fat & it's also most likely to eat at muscle first in a state of catabolism. The human body goes against the very essence of what we all try to do here. How annoying is that? Sometimes I just want to grab my fat & jiggle it & be like, "Is this what you want? Do you want to be played with?"

Sorry I'm being an ass today. These new strength gains & comments are seriously putting me in a drunken stupor 24/7, even though I haven't touched alcohol in about 4 weeks.

I'm definitely picking up Fenugreek for my PCT. Why the hell not, right? Hah!

I'm so bored right now, & full. I think I'm going to post before & after pics tonight. We'll see. It'll be a surprise :lol: .

Sorry if you guys read the testicle thing & wigged out. I thought it'd be a nice little thought for all my fellow cyclers when they're taking their SD with their Thanksgiving meal.

Well, I couldn't wait. I was a little bloated from the day's festivities. Here ya go boys. Drill away, I can take it. Overall I put on ~14lbs. I went from 176.0-189.5 or 190lbs. I still have the rest of the week left before I come off the SD. I'm sure it's apparent which pictures are before & after (the one in the jacquzzi is before in case you were wondering). Enjoy!!

Nice improvements! how tall are you btw? and did you take arm measurements before and after? i definitely see a difference in the size of the pipes.

I'm 6'.05 barefoot, about 6'1.5 or so with shoes. My arms measured rougly 14in before the cycle & now they're at 16.5. Yea man, the first comment everyone made when they saw me was, "Wow bro, your arms have gotten fucking huge!" Then they moved on to my chest & back. My back really blew up too. You can't really tell in the pics but it did get hella wider. I pretty much went from a size 15 1/2 in dress shirts to a 17. I think my arms look much bigger cause my triceps blew up. Well, that & my shoulders. It's insane.

I just wish I could keep going. I'm planning a cutting cycle for Feb. using SD again.
