You look like you have a solid frame to work with. And my goodness you have the strength of an ox. Nicely done. You obviously don't need to be harped on when it comes to form as it was already mentioned. But never the less well done. Can't wait to see you in the next 90 days.

Manko you will have to check out one of my old deadlift videos sometime ;) I'll get some once I am healed up again. You guys are really gona be motivating me to work reads again.

Thanks for the kind words .. But I eat like a piggy that's why I'm strong.. I am feeling like now that everyone is pulling for me i cant let em down. I am glad Matt posted the Vids cause you hardly get to see yourself lift and my horrendous squat is making me rework my gate and my hip hinge .. So important yet I wasn't doing it. He had crappy shoes and lifting with it would transfer power to the sole spongy area . Next time we go with our belt and shoes haha new gym new experience .

Work em deads just be safe and dont make your belt too taught. Leave room to expand your stomach as that's where the stability comes from. I'm sure you know all about it. Can't wait to get into shape.

Haha yes. I never use a belt until 405+ and I just haven't snug enough to stay on. I swell so much when I dead. Even that lose I still get light headed. I only have blacked out once... No big deal. I you can't lock out 525 you just can't do it, right... Hahaha

Lol that was me with the bare feet, Matt and Manko have been teaching me a whole bunch of **** since I moved out here, sadly I wear a size 14 shoe so I have to take what I can get and before I was lifting with no belt (too big for the ones in japan) and the only shoes I had were for jogging. So that day I did the lift without my shoes, normally I do have shoes (and just got a new belt...first one ever for me) But yea I will be posting more from here on out, dont know how many old pics I have of myself came to Japan 3 years ago at 320pounds now I am stable at 273 My squat and bench are crap and my dead lift isnt much better but I do hope you guys will give me some helpful info from here on out.

Overall kinda run down from the long days and no sleep I wish we didn't need it.

Honestly, my training prior to Japan was horrible... no planning, just whatevers. Probably horrid form. So as homo as this sounds, you sir are the most motivational. You went from Over weight, to lean. And your not a trained individual.
I'll be posting my workout tomorrow. Maybe have David film my sumo deads. Maybe I can get him posting... That guy is on MORE supps than me... lol

Good job in lifting. You doing a 5 day split? I took today off. Gonna lift tomorrow before the turkey lunch (late lunch). Fasting till then. Hope to pull some PR (reps this week) on some lifts. Then do accessory.

We all have to start some where. I was horribly fat back in february sitting at 300lbs. So I know what you mean. As for the shoes yeah all I have are running to lift in. maybe I will get some atomics or wrestling shoes for working out not sure yet.

Haha, Yea but you guys keep me going. Watching your progress is motivational man. From benching like 135 till benching almost 300 in about 1.5 years! That is great! The deadlift... man, even though your form wasnt good... you picked it up... Im sure your 455 one was pretty good.
 
No worries I really love to get advice an I take it all to heart.. It will make me better and I never felt you were attacking me. I do know you are concerned about safety. The spine is pretty fragile. I was injured from bjj for a bit and why I couldn't train hard.. I use powerlifting to strengthen my core and I am better from it . Thanks for the advice and I will rework some stuff and it's my pleasure to meet you too.

Kewl Beans Bro... I do truly try and follow the AnabolicMinds motto of "Learn... Teach... Lead!" I would not get too down on yourself, you are here and you are making changes and that is all that matters, just compare yourself to the other 95% of the population not doing a damn thing to better themselves physically, you are miles above them! Besides, you have a very good frame/base in which to work with, lots of clay (muscle), just need to mold & shape it to your liking (fun part)!

I did notice it was much easier to dead lift with flat shoes, I sometimes have trouble balancing as I stand with my running shoes on so Manko got me some flats and now Im not having as much trouble getting up. Just have to work on form from here.

Cool deal. You will find what works best for you. Even though your form was off a little. It will happen sooner than you think. I know lifting those big numbers are appealing. One of the things I tend to do is if my form falls off I will lower the weight down and use that weight until I get my form back.
 
Last couple of days were really exhausting so its catching up to me. I'm in for a whole body depletion workout today before our thanksgiving feast haha.

Yeah man. You can get there and leave that in the dust if you work hard enough. I just found out yesterday I have a fracture at the base of my spine. So I have to take some time off of legs. It sucks. So now you and matt have to lift even harder since I can't. Hahaha

Saturdays workout was usual 3 lifts for triples and 5s. ( squat, dead,and Bench in that order). Then went to a carb all you can eat place haha !!!!

Leg press 4 sets 26 plates
Alternate leg curl and leg extension 4 sets supersetted 150/200
Seated calf raise 4 plates 5 sets 8reps dc style stretch and contraction ! Painful .. Workouts are progressing and progress slow and steady lost about 15 lbs and I can fit my belt so I'm stoked .

I have not tried it yet, but when I run my FINAFLEX SUPER-CYCLE LOG sometime in January, I will be implementing Lean Gains with intermiten fasting as my dietary protocol!!! But to answer your question, nothing first hand, but from what I have seen, read, and talked to others who have first hand information on it, it looks fantastic!

You, me, and quite a few other followers on this board to be honest, I am so looking forward to it, it is definitely going to be an EPIC LOG with incredible results. Not sure if you have followed or visited any of my previous LOGs, but when I buckle down to do something, I truly buckle down and do my best to LOG every single significant detail possible so that my results can be both followed and duplicated. Thanks for the support, I promise I will make it quite known when I do this EPIC LOG, definitely will not be kept a secret!

Sorry for the lack or updates. I never knew that dieting during the holidays was this rough. Now that I have put on the weight it seems hard to imagine life without it. I'm at the gym now getting ready to train some legs wish me luck .
