Its a good thing the first guy took a whole month off after being on a 24 week AAS cycle before going back on again. And i'm sure he had a proper pct protocol.
On a side note who the hell says "they feel like Zeus"!

I thought Roid rage was something more controlable dependent upon the person. I persoanlly not have any real experiance with roids, but i thought i recall reading something along those lines

the gay guy is small as ****... i just caught the end of it and turned it off because I was so disgusted. He easily could have gotten to that point naturally. Its so lame how he says: "I'm going to order another cycle" like its a big event. Then he goes on to say how its addictive because he didnt quit the first cycle. WTF

How did he go to the hospital? Did he inject into a vein or something? Did he not aspirate?

So now, MTV is showing this image of steroid users as GAY too! WTF!

No becuase he alowed other to paint a picture of himself, he wanted to fit in so hard that he used roids to make himself have a better body. In the end it was more on an internal head game with himself and he said that roids changed his emotions and he took tyonel... for osme fucking retarded reason, and attempted to end his life... which i hope somewehere down the road he considers. What did it say at the end?? Did he end up using roids again?

No, he said because of the steroid he decided to take a bottle of tylenol. What a fucking tool.

Ok, so it just ended here on the east coast.

HOLYYY ****. I almost feel guilty for making you guys tune in to that. That was the WORST thing I have ever witnessed in my life. They tried so hard to cover the entire spectrum like I knew they would.

1) gay guy wanting to win strip show

2) dude posing for cover shot

3) fighter needing fast recovery

WOWWW dont dare show the dedicated, hardcore, monsters out there who benefit from safe cycling of these. Sure there are side effects to be presented, but DAMN...show some monsters next time squatting 750 lbs, and not some fags dancing around.

A fucking men to that borther...

OMG I just wasted an hour of my life - more than wasted, absolutely was ashamed that I participate in anything like these guys (stepping in a gym for instance). embarassing. My dog could put up more poundage than these guys. not a compound lift in the entire show. what was with the one dudes willingness to ankle his junk for the camera at the drop of a hat?
I did learn several things however. 1) Steroids cause suicide, not mental instability as was previously thought. 2) You can experience withdrawals from steroids. 3) Steroids "take control of your thoughts" and make you decide to do something like down a bottle of tylenol for breakfast {would hate to have seen that guys liver values following unprotected cycles plus acetominophen overdose}.
What a disgrace.

thank goodness i wasnt in that parking lot when the gay dude had his fake little "roid rage!" I woulda picked up his PT cruiser and beat the piss outta him then stolen his gear. deuchbag.

The gay guy had run 4-5 cycles? Perfect proof that steroids are useless in the hands of the uneducated.

Bump to that... As far as the poll goes, if it was to put a postive light and the truth about steroid use, I would do it, but if they gave me lines and blah blah blah.. F**k That Son!

I think you could see more about steriods by watching the transformations of the male cast members of "the gaunlet" from one season to the next, then their weight lost on later shows, then you did on that real life show.

That's true, some of those guys look good, none are really huge, but some have good proportions.

I CAN NOT believe how awful it was. I will say it again. I like how the gay guy wanted to get certain sides. He was like proud of a roid rage that didn't exist. my boyfriend didnt drill me in the ass last night and i am mad about it??!! must be roid rage!! 4-5 cycles and you still weigh 140lbs? I could give 1 cycle to my german shepard and he would be bigger than that

lastly...the broken engagement. holllly ****. lets blame that on roids too, obviously he wants to mary some vials instead of his fiance. or mayyybe they forgot to air that she is a nagging bitch about everything, not just steroids.

1 last rant i promise: it almost makes me embarassed to be a dude and know other guys exist like that out there. it seriously sickens me. oh well...just be glad you aren't that guy.

Did anyone else notice that the nutritionist were injecting some of these guys? The nutritioist for the cover model guy shot him in the ass in his store. :wtf:Can you say illegal?

Not only that, they showed the signage for his store in plain sight...moron!! I'd be expecting a visit if I was Mr. nutrition + down in FL.

if they had asked these guys you speak off. 100% of them would have said "up yours". besides, when did responsible use make for good television?

everyone watches a train wreck. :nutkick:

Let me say that I had my wife watch this with me so I could try to convince her that using gear is not all that bad. She has been on the border line about giving me the go ahead and after the show she was 100% behind me using.

Before you go crazy let me explain, my wife is a personal trainer and works with people in the field everyday. She went fucking nuts when she saw the gay guy using. She was picking stuff out left and right saying " if he was serious about getting in shape then he would quit smoking" and the guy who was on for 24 weeks and took a 4 week break cause he " was so tired of needles" , what a clown. My wife said that I am nothing like these guys and if they are who MTV had to find to show the negative aspect of steriod use then it must not really be that bad.

When the part came up about the baseball player, did anyone else notice how little he looked when he had a " roid rage" after striking out. That dude looked 180 tops and at 6'2, that isnt ****. Damn, Im all pissed and ive never used.

Well, with her blessings, on to research how to get my rat HUGE!!!!

Edit: forgot to add this

Boy what a waste!

First off, none of these guys have achieve full potential naturally. Second, does anyone work the legs, the model all he did was chest?

There was no mention of PCT? I think the gay guy had gyno, towards the end?

Not to bitch but this is the problem with the internet. I mean when I was 18 (now 33) there was no internet. To get steroids there was one or two guys in the gym that could get them. When I asked them, they said I was too young and haven't achieve full potiental naturally. Now anyone can buy them without proper research and even proper training.

As far as the nurtitionist goes, well, that what I do for a living and it sickens me. When he sat down with the Nurtitionist, that is when the should have gone over PCT and the dangers Sick!

The gay guy, get to the gym and put in 1 year of working out. Oh yeah quit smoking.

The Fighter, not sure why he was doing them?

Oh well.

I am sorry, but the gay guy had to be a negative plant by the producer of this garbage.

If he did the cycles that he said and did not even workout he would be much bigger than he was.

What probably happened is the fighter and the model did not have enough of a negative aspect so they had to throw a fake head case into the mix just to "balance" things out.

I see what your sayin.... but remember, some people just suck that much. he made no mention of his diet, we all saw how incredibly pathetic his training was, and he fuckin smoked! I know 2 people personally who are loaded up on more gear than i will ever see in one place... including GH, who are about the size of the gay dude. They both train like cables are goin outta style, and barely eat more than a bowl of lucky charms a day. just goes to show how gear dont do **** if the other aspects of your lifestyle arent in check.

What's wrong with cables? I like cables.

cables have their place... but honestly, you cant expect to get any real size or strength without heavy compound movements with free weights... and people that are juiced off their asses and spend their entire workout at the cable station are, in my opinion wasting their time, and their gear.

I've spent entire back workouts with cables sometimes. I don't see an issue with it. You don't HAVE to do BB rows or DB rows every back workout. You can make do with various grip pulldowns, low cable rows, etc. quite well.

Though come to think of it, the last "cable" workout I did, I threw in hammerstrength rows too. But that's technically a machine.

Anyway, I can BB row 275 for a few reps and I think that's at least somewhat decent.

But Null, you are already at a pretty advanced level. Cables can be good for detail, etc, and offer a different stimulus, but in the first years, better growth will come from free weights IMHO.

As for the show, watched a few bits and pieces. Was it the cover model guy who did the 24 week cycle w/minimal rest? He wasn't very big. He also had zero lats. No wonder you tear a bi if you grow way beyond what you have prepared your body for :study:

I actually don't think they presented it as negatively as expected, gay dude and baseball player aside. The gay dude had some issues anyway, and if you're that obsessed with your appearance you're gonna struggle with issues regardless. I think he had bigorexia. Too bad he never learned how to eat or train...jackass. As for the MMA guy: I don't think it really implied that his breakup was b/c of juice. People break up all the time, and most guys who have a set won't let anyone say "You're not doing this..." even if it is just a reference to having a few beers with your friends.

I'm wondering if they don't discuss PCT b/c they don't want to give too much info about how to use? Or maybe these guys were just that dumb.

tell ronnie to get rid of free weights to gain some detail.....

the little gay guy was a joke and the parents of that whimpass supposedly roided out baseball player was sayin at the end he was sphycotic...huh ? , no i beleive he just found out he had aids and his boyfreind left him so he ended it all !

I will admit that I've had some great workouts with cables, specifically for back. But it was always in conjunction with free weights.

same here. i've yet to meet any enormous well-trained guy that swore by cables over free weights. my training partner would slap me for thinking otherwise.

These guys were just that dumb.

Most guys at your local gym likely don't even know what PCT is.

Going back to the baseball player, did anyone else notice how they mentioned he was going through withdrawal. It sounds like he wasn't even doing any PCT and just quit cold turkey. This was the worst presentation of nazi propaganda I have seen, but I had to watch it just to see how easily manipulated the general population can be.

id have to say that yes if i could go on and accurately protray mine, and what i feel most the communities point of veiw, sit them down and show the benifits and discipline its brought to my life and show factual information and the fact that any sides are easily avoidable or instantly treatable once they present themselves. but with my luck they'd chop the hell outta it dub in a couple fake quotes and some stunt double roid raging in an ice cream parlor mashing his cone in the cashiers face and end with me assasinating the president cause roids told me to. or theyd hand me a script, both of wich if this happened id give em a couple birds and tell them to go fly a kite.

I thought it was strange that the Model was completely naked getting shot up by some old guy who was "a family friend". I think he was trading the shot for favors to the old man. I also thought it was funny on how big he thought he was.

I think he had something to do with the fact that he lifted at an enormous gym, but no one was there. They must have all been scared of when they heard Zeus was inside working out. Hell, I would be.

I knew MTV, as Null pointed out, would not do a serious piece do to the fact that if they showed the postives of AAS in any way there would be litigation.

Did anyone notice the crappy Taurus Mr. Cover had in the begging and then did he go out and rent the crossfire? Also he has some serious mind games going on if he can stack 4 plates per side on the HS machine while "on" and then only get 2 per side while off.

Gay guy and MMA dude didnt even need to use. Someone should send him a bottle of Cissus or something.

At least I still have the HBO piece as a postive for my Fiance to reason with...

The MMA guy wasn't necessarily such a bad choice for a user. He said he did it to enhance recovery so that he could cram 3 years of training into 1 without overtraining.

That gay guy was crazy anyways. He had a whacked out look in his eyes that almostt makes you wonder if he wasn't doing coke, too.

What was the title of the HBO show? I was looking for a tv series I seen and it was very interesting. Steroids were used in a research study under medical supervision an all out good study. I wish I knew what it was called.

Yeah I am interested in watching this HBO piece that people keep referencing. Whats the name and is it online anywhere??

THANKS! Any other titles I am interested in as well. As long as they dont involve drugged out gays stripping.

The HBO piece was a segment on Real Sports with Bryant Gumble.

Basically they showed that AAS, when used by healthy repsonsible adults, had little to no sides for the vast majority, and the sides that did exist were nothing to worry about. They specifically mentioned that NO ONE has ever died because of steroid use, and that steroids are NOT linked to any major health problems.

Then they went on and explained that the entire media witchunt is all because of the sports lobby.

It was truly an awesome show.

The coolest part was that the journalist who did that segment used to be a writer who used to really bash steroids in his columns. Until he did the research for this segment, like most of the US, he thought steroids were the devil.

Theres another show called High Performance that was on CBC but I can't find the show on the internet. I've asked the station for a copy of the program. Hope I here back from them.
