I'm mainly wondering about the claim of targeted fat burning...
From the MRI site about Pro-Nos: "The VAT-Burn fraction is clinically proven to strip of belly fat by 4.30%! All this, with whey fractions only!"
I know targeted fat burning has to be BS, but is there any truth to the claim that specific fractions of whey protein peptide chains can encourage fat burn?
:toofunny: ...ouch thats cold, but funny ...just don't let her hear you say that...It's overpriced because they buy so many four page ads in all the magazines trying to catch all the little kiddies who wanna get HUGE and don't know how to read a label and make their own. I wish it had spot fat reduction cause my wife has a spot that covers her whole a$$. I'd buy her a few cases if I thought it would work.
I tend not to really knock on MRI, because they started 2 of the biggest trends in sports supplementation:
1. Nitric Oxide modulation (esp. AAKG)
2. Creatine Ethyl Ester
I got a tub really cheap as I am out of Goat Whey and saw a really good deal on the Pro-NOS.
I'll see if it's Pro-NOS or Pro-POS.
how do you like the goat whey?I tend not to really knock on MRI, because they started 2 of the biggest trends in sports supplementation:

The vanilla mixed with milk tastes like melted marshmellows. No joke.I tend not to really knock on MRI, because they started 2 of the biggest trends in sports supplementation:

The cost for that must have been astounding. 1 tub only has 19 servings, and costs from $38-50.:hammer:damn... i been ignoring this thread. Pro-NOS is REALLY top quality protein. I have a client in 7 minutes, so I can't get into much of a review yet, but it's TOP of the line in my 4 month run with it @ 3 shakes per day (2-3).
You're right about the price. My friend worked at the V-Shoppe and would 'help me out' with that.... It was a pleasure using the product and it did indeed help with muscle building/recomp. It did it's job and some as a protein powder. The cost for that must have been astounding. 1 tub only has 19 servings, and costs from $38-50.:hammer:
The stuff is good, but it's not THAT good.

I did mean mix your own.Not everybody cares to "make" their own, nor have the facilities to "make" their own. However, I believe what you meant to say is mix your own.
And if you actually followed your own advice, you should hunt your own food and take your wife with you so that she could work off that fat ass.

and to correct you Sir. I should make her hunt for MY food and that would work off her fat azz.
