Season 3 finale explained a lot!!!!!! Well worth watching!
 
so saw megaopolis ..omg so bad cant believe francis ford capolla (the godfather, the outsiders, dracula) directed this crap
 
Landman on paramount is a decent watch so far. Billy bob I didn’t think was going to be a great pick for this initially. He has proved me wrong.

Tulsa king season 2 I finished, really have enjoyed this show a lot.
 
Well, I was looking for some mindless entertainment .... And I found it.

Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx ... "Back in Action".
It's mindless fun.
It helped that I could probably watch Cameron Diaz recite the alphabet over and over. LOL. :-)

i just saw this last week .. yeah my thoughts exactly not a new story line .. but it was fun to see

and cameron diaz can do anything and ill be intersted in it ..so maybe im bias on the good review lol

i know there were few marvel comics fans here besides me

just saw this .. enjoyed it, i know online reviews have been mixed i thought it was well done .. does ties into ed norton hulk ( welll there were couple mentions in the name which was pretty cool )

overall good movie and seems like they arent giving up and wants to continue to make the next phase

Glad to hear this but a little sorry I read it…haha…it’s hard to buy into a normal human without super powers be Captain America but I will watch it and love it none the less.

On a different note, I have finished up The Walking Dead Those Who lived and Daryl Dixon. Those who lived was hard for me to get through. Dixon was awesome and I couldn’t stop watching it.

Also went and watched a movie with my boy. I have fallen asleep to two movie in theaters. First The Incredibles (I still can’t get into it) and now Dogman. Man that was horrendous to get through. My kids loved it.

Another movie I have watched and thought was AMAZING was Transformers One on Paramount+. One of my new favorites.

His entire story arc was set up to be Cap lol... Super serum? Check. Crazy weapon arm? Check. History of 'standing up for the little guy' aka tiny Steve? Check. Personal trauma to overcome so he feels worthy of taking the mantle that could have been worked out in a tv show? Check. All that ruined handing the shield to Sam.
 
Watching black doves and American Primeval, really enjoyed both especially American Primeval, very gory and full on.

About to start "The day of the jackal"
 
Oh, and since I took advantage of the .99 Apple TV thing on Prime...

I watched the Tetris movie. Pretty good, Taron is always entertaining. Took a minute to click, but the Maxwell family in the movie are Ghislaine's father/brother. Didn't bother to look up how true the story is/how Hollywood-ized it was, but worth the watch.
 
also are you guys aware of Stremio + Torrentio + Real-Debrid? basically its an app that grabs torrents and streams them directly, you pay 15 bucks (AUD) for 3 months and it is like a VPN and you can watch everything, literally anything available to download shows up... it is fantastic.

I got rid of all my other streaming services and save so much. If you want instructions what to do let me know, its a whole lot of text, simple enough though.

We have versions of that in the states, with SOS app, it’s freaking amazing.

We just purchased the VeeSee Box. It is awesome. Essentially get every channel and show. It’s got it mainly for sports.
 
I watched The Electric State last weekend. I Really enjoy Sci-fi, so keep that in mind....
I liked it. I thought it was a funky, funny, Sci-fi movie.

.... And then (after I put together my computer desk and chair), I watched the new Captain America movie.
... I actually enjoyed Electric State more.

.... Now I'm sampling "Novocaine". (While I should be writing 2 or 3 papers. ... LOL).

Electric state is on my list! It kinda reminds me of Ready Player One, which I absolutely love and have rewatched multiple times. I also love sci-fi funny movies!

Yeah work is important but so is cinema 😆.

I haven’t wrote a paper since grade school, I legitimately don’t think I could write one in proper format if my life depended on it lol.

Yeah, I've gotten lazy with writing, over the years.
Thankfully... There's all sorts of writing aids/tips online.
I think you'll really like Electric State.

I just got done with my Masters and it was almost all writing. I can make grammatically correct sentences and know when to stop my train of thought but writing scholarly with APA format was a transition. ChatGPT was a lifesaver in coming up with ideas and how to word things. I never did, but I easily could have copy and pasted, highlight the paragraph and microsoft365 could reword it. It was nuts. It showed up with 0% plagerism.

Thankfully my professors agreed with my quality over quantity belief. Minimum pages for every assignment…lol…C’s are the exact same pay raises as A’s for me!

Can’t wait to watch The Electric State. I just can’t get into believing Falcon can be Captain America. It has been my least favorite of all the Marvel movies.

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT watch Ranson Canyon on Netflix. It’s one of those that I thought was a Yellowstone wannabe. It was so bad we had to watch it. We knew what was going to happen but we still watched it.

Minka Kelly does it for me though no doubt about it.

Currently rewatching Wolf of Wallstreet for fun. Just watching it after the wife goes to bed and fall asleep 15-30 minutes in.

A buddy at work actually texted me last night at 9 saying “it’s got a lot of CGI but it’s pretty good”. But I’ve also personally heard this guy say his favorite movie ever made is Joe dirt lol. Great movie, but hardly best ever made.
 
I just watched (between doing other things) Borderlands. It was a little similar (in some ways) to Electric State.
It was kind of a mess .... But, again .... I like Sci-fi... So it was a passable distraction for me.
I needed a distraction right now.

The Studio and Friends and Neighbors on Apple…both good so far.

Also currently watching Home Improvement on Netflix from the start….Good show. (Watched it when it was on but not seriously)
 
Anyone watching The Last of Us? I am up to episode 5, going to watch that and 6 tonight. Once I get past the fact they are not fully following the game and that Ellie looks like a potato and has no on screen chemistry with Dina, I can enjoy it. I just really dont want to wait another 1.5 years for the next season

Saw two horror movies this past 2 weeks, Clown in the Cornfield- Dumb, but okish fun watch. Final Destination Blood Lines- The weakest one of the franchise for me. Excited to see Sinners this week

I’m almost done (again) with Colony. I don’t remember the third season at all so it’s been a nice rewatch.

Have you watched Falling Skies? Considering that next but I know nothing about it other then obviously alien invasion.

honestly we have gone back to watch a few shows all over again because they were so good lol. Episodes is one of them, Rules of Engagement, Californication. We are watching Whitney right now which I think is a great "friends" kinda show from the mid 2000's but it's only 2 seasons long. unfortunate for that kind of sitcom.

I haven't seen Falling Skies,but it looked pretty good.
Honestly .... I don't start a lot of series, because I don't have time to watch them anymore.

Falling skies is a great B grade Syfi series, got a certain charm about it, just expect some corny acting and questionable CGI... but its got heart... I really liked it back in the day.
