Yes sir. The tension with them out wide is great. I would bring them in because I thought it was more contraction but, keeping them wider made it hurt moreWow nice work Monte!! I always wondered about db incline presses and leaving them out. I've tried this myself but thought I was supposed to bring them together. Glad to see it's better to keep em out though as this way does feel like it works the pecs more.

Dont be too harsh on meVideo was taken with a cell phone.....next time ill try to find a camera so maybe we can get a bit more of the definition in the shots that the camera phone just couldnt pick up. Also as you can see im constantly readjusting my body because I was cramping up BIG TIME! The workout was killer in itself but I never imagined how hard posing was going to be. Ive heard its tuff but this was brutal lol. I thought I was going to be stuck in that vaccuum pose for ever lol.

SO! Today session was great. My "Super Secret" lifting partner was the one and only Mr.Kleen!
Im gonna go ahead and get this out there. This guy is strong like bull and WIDE as fuk! Huge lats. Absolutely crazy.
So I deviated from GVT today since it was a special occasion and we had a great session. Heavy weights. High reps and lots of ass kicking happend.
Started with some reverse grip bb rows and worked up to 245 on those for a couple sets of ten. Kleen adjusted my form here so I was bent forward a little more and I could feel it in my lower lats instead of my upper back much more. Good adjustment here but the weight I was using got a little too heavy so form drifted back to more upright.
Moved on to incline DB press and worked up to 100's for a set of ten. Kleen adjusted my form here as well (this is actually a common trend throughout the workout lol. Lots of learning happend today.) by having me keep the DB's OUT more at the top instead of bringing them together more. Kept more constant tension on the pecs and made a huge diffirence.
Moved on to Hammer Strength Hi-Rows. I love this fking machine. We dont have one at my gym and its been a few years since i had the opportunity to use one. Think we worked up to 160 per side? Either 160 or 115 I cant remember but got a few sets of these in then did a drop set on top of that.
Moved to wide grip hammer strength chest press. HOLY CRAP most favoritests machine EVER. Amazing contraction for chest. The Kleen machine blew me out of the water on these lol. Think he got 140 per side for 10 or so and I got about 5![]()
NEXT we hit some dead stop rows with 80lbs dumbbells for two or three sets of ten. By now my back is pumped to hell and back and Im reaaaaaaly feeling the diffirence from the lower weights ive been using with GVT.
Cable Crossovers next. Four sets of 10-12 reps and the chest is blowing the fk up.
Hit some middle back shrugs for just a couple sets. These were nice and im going to be adding those in so I can feel the contraction in my middle back from now on. Not a lot of weight used here just 40lb db's but I could feel the middle back contract with each rep. Great stuff.
Did some pec minor dips to finish and at that point im comfortable saying I was spent lol.
After we got done we went in the Zumba room and did some yoga and hot oil massages......wait whut? No No nm. LoL we did go in the Zumba room but we worked on my posing, or more like lack there of. Learned some awesome stuff during this 30 minutes of hell lol. Like dont flex as hard as you can or you will black the fk out ? yeah thats a big one rofl. He got some video of a few poses and is supposed to get them to me so I can post them up for you guys.
It was a great day and I had a blast. Kleen is an awesome guy and has a lot of knowledge he was willing to share with me. Gonna try to make this a monthly routine because it was awesome.
SO thats the update! Im cramping up right now just typing this so the heavy weights, extra motivation and posing practice did the trick.

Just have to say the workout was awesome and Monte is a beast! Not only that but he takes cues very well. He is bigger & leaner in person than in his pictures.
Very impressive guy and honestly one of the nicest guys I have hung out with in some time. He was too kind giving me props, on back he was doing some damage and got more reps than me on some exercises. It wasn't just me that had a moment of out lifting him, don't let him fool you. Also the volume this guy can power through is amazing. I started losing steam muscular wise before him and that is when he schooled me by finishing some sets I failed to get 10 reps on. Guy is an animal!
I told him we needed to hook up again in a month before he is done with his run and while I am started on mine and am all put back together.
No way I was videoing myself next to him he is ripped up right now. Striated and thick. We didn't get a video of his Side Biceps and Chest shot after some tweaking but Holy Sh!t he looked downright amazing. Chest like a shelf, small waist and huge biceps!
Oh and yes 3/4 scoop of Stimul8 was the bomb! I had 4 caps MAX PUMP, and 2 scoops creatrona when I walked out the door so I was set up for a FREAKy workout with the Stimul8!

It is supposed to be March 15 as long as my body holds up. If I have to slow down for my back then will do a show a little later but it held up to the massacre yesterday and I'm still standing! So things are looking up!

What are your thoughts on holding onto an upright or something for DB calf raises? I never tried to do them freestanding, seems like it would be freakin difficult! Also seems like it would really build some stabilization muscles and give a helluva nice look to your calves. Advantages to both, I guess.
