Montego an Snagency tag-team with FINAFLEX in the corner

Looks like I'm through the sickness finally! Still a bit congested but nothing crazy, so it's back on the grind. Went grocery shopping yesterday and stocked up on my goodies. Saturday night I went out with my wife for he friends birthday and we had a good time. Even though we were out with a party we spent much of the time together talking about the past year and what's in store for its this year. On my way to child support court this morning then it's back home for legs destruction. I started a bit of a stim break the past week......not total abstinence but cut out about 3/4 normal intake. Right now it's two PX Black in the morning and one scoop of Ignite2 before workouts. Might reduce father in time.
.

Glad ur feeling better. Good luck in ct.

Legs – 17 sets week 7:

Barbell stiff legged deadlifts – 2-3 warm up sets. Use 25 plates so you can stretch better at the bottom. Work into the stretch as you go. Don’t rush it. I want 4 sets of 10 reps. Once you get to a fairly hard 10, count that, then add a little weight each set for the next 3 sets also. Keep a slight bend in your knees while doing these. 4 total work sets.
95x10
145x10
195x10
245x10
265x10
285x10
295x9+1 (Started using my back a bit on these.)

Lying leg curls – You are going to do 3 sets of 15. Nothing fancy here, just do perfect reps with someone gently pushing down on your lower back. 3 total work sets.
100x15
110x15
110x14+1

Leg press - Use the exact same form as last week and work your way up, doing sets of 10 until you can no longer get 10 reps. We’ll call that 3 sets. 3 total work sets. (Used the Cybex machine on these again. Seems to put less stress on my lower back and thats always a good thing.)
290x10
320x10
340x10
350x10
360x10
370x9

Barbell Squats– 1-2 low rep sets working your way up. I want 3 sets of 6 reps on these with 3-second descents. Go to just above parallel. These are meant to be done heavy, but you should get every rep. Do not use a weight so heavy you can’t get the reps with perfect form. Drive out of the hole hard. 3 total work sets.
280x6
300x6
310x5+1

Hack Squat – Ok, this is where the rubber meets the road, baby. Time to finish this one in style. I want 4 sets of 10. The first 2 probably won’t be too hard. For example, you might do 1 plate a side for 10, then 2, then 3, then 4. So it’s a pyramid. On the first two sets, I want you to rest pause them. So get down deep, rest, then drive them up. On the last 2 sets, that is not needed. Just get the 10 reps. Your legs should be on fire, and toasted. 4 total work sets.
135x10 RP
225x10 RP
275x10
275x10

Standing Calf Raise on Block with 45lb plates.
5 sets of 20+

I always feel stiff-legged deads in my back. I thought that was normal.

You will to an extent but feeling it like a dead or a good morning is too much. Try dumbbells. Some say they feel it less in their back.

I will do DB work next time. I don't know if I feel it like I would a dead, just some low back effort.

Dinner. Sirloin and veggies. Not eating those devil carrots. Gross.

Actually I went and bought a bunch of frozen vegetables for a dollar a bag. Each bag has four cups so it was a good deal since I'm lazy and don't like cooking raw veggies.

I love the steamer bags.

Aldi's steam-in-bag broccoli ftw. Their frozen greenbeans are legit too, & the cauliflower medley isn't too shabby. Veggies for the day for $1.09 and 6 min of microwave means even lazy tools like me don't have an excuse for skimping.

I hate cauliflower. YUCK!

Uhhhhhhh......Im flattered?

Snagency will set you a diet up I'm sure.....at a nominal fee of course :)

It'd soooo be worth it if you were serious about wanting fine-tuning on your macros. Dude can lay out a menu. Eating clean doesn't have to mean eating stupid boring.

Dat dare is the truth. Always coming up with awesome meals.

I'm just lazy/strapped for time, so quick is usually best for me.

Snags is a busy man, I wouldn't like to burden him like that! Lol. I'm actually working on fine tuning mine. Meal planning is what kills me mostly. Maybe if I'm not meeting my goals by March or April I'll have to have a talk with him.

This guy is always looking for clients. Don't be scared!

I'm just saying, if a fellow can build the mountain he has on orals alone, dude knows a thing about training & diet. When he goes injectable he's gonna blow the doors off that stage; 5th place for a guy who's never seen a needle yet is unheard of. And even he'll admit he botched & came in flatter than hoped, & still looked insanely conditioned.

If you can't tell by now, I'm in the Vote for Steve club.....but I've learned a lot that's served me well so I can't help it. Shutting up now.

I'm for it too man. Just too stubborn to give up on the knowledge I've acquired yet! Besides, I'm in this thread to leech more knowledge from snags and Monty both.

Dude I want some of that. I'm over hear choking the chicken because you dudes are fine.
I laffed at monte's quote edit, good one

you are a great student, and a cool personality
I appreciate the good words, very flattering sir

Can I join this party???? Lol

Yeah beast , I'd take him up on his offer when ready. My thoughts have always mimicked what Hyde said about Steve above.

His physique is a reflection of years of learning and hard fugging work. Very knowledgeable guy and loves to lend a hand.

Ok group hug annnnddd done :-)

I always feel stiff-legged deads in my back. I thought that was normal.

Sit back harder.
With a softly bent knee push your hips back as far as possible.
Stop when your back is parallel to the floor.

You'll feel it in your hams

Edit: snags beat me to it.

I also prefer RDLs.. They feel much better on the PC and easier on the low back... Which is exactly what I'm trying to accomplish

Oh my! It's been four days offs G8! Gonna be a good night :)

Yeah buddy!
Where are the noods steve??? You were doing so well last week :-)

^^^this. Ace knows his shyt as well. Good to see you buddy

Thanks brother and I hadn't even thought of it but snags writing me a diet wouldn't be a bad idea..

Edit: maybe I'll contact you soon snags, if you'd be to to it. I need to look at my funds first, but ya.

Also on the sldl you don't have to use big weight. The stretch is where the winning comes in.

I'm doing the Branch Warren Classic on July 12th.

Steve doesn't have a show in mind anytime soon I don't think.

Also an update on body comp/weight.

Weight went up rather quickly after I stopped my cut for a number of reasons. Increased calorie intake during the death walk of sickness I had for one. Add that in with stopping eca, dropping extra hormones and cutting cardio out for recovery reasons.

Got bloated and watery very quickly but things are tightening up again. Very good learning experience tbh.

The sickness I had threw a wrench into the whole thing but next time it'll go like this.

Drop eca, slowly add in calories, taper off hormones, reduce cardio slowly. That will keep everything moving along slow and steady. This was my original plan but everything just got screwed when I was going to die for a week :)

Nice plan, sucks it got messed up. So what are you weighing in at right now?

It happens bud. Been there and done that x2.

Plan looks solid just like you :-)

As of this morning I'm at 212. Was the same weight last week but not nearly as tight. Will probably lose another lb or two in the next few days as the water really dissipates but around 210 is where I should be anyways by my own calculations.

Chest – 15 sets & Shoulders – 11 sets week 7: Good workout today. Only 1 level scoop of Ignite2 :( stim break in full effect kinda. Kept my rest periods rather short id say about 45 seconds at the most.

Dumbbell Press on a slight elevation – These are the ones where I put a 25-pound plate under each end on one side to gift it the slight elevation. 2-3 sets of 10 to warm up. Pyramid up on these. Do sets of 8 all the way up until you can’t get 8 reps on the last one. Don’t make huge jumps. So for example, you might do 45 x 8, 55 x 8, 60 x 8, then 65 x 6 (failing). I want the 4th set to be the set where you fail before 8. 4 total work sets. (Went very light to start and really stretch out the chest. Held in the stretched position a good three count until I got up to the 100's where it was a one count. Really loosend up the fibers with the static stretches here)
35x10
45x8
60x8
80x8
90x8
100x8
105x8
110x8
115x7

Stretch pushups – You will be supersetting these with rear delt raises. Go to failure on the pushups. There is video of these on my website and YouTube channel so you can see how they are done. 4 total work sets. (No blocks available so I went with two benches side by side and got as deep as I could with the stretch.)

Supersetted with:
Dumbbell rear laterals – Sets of 20 reps. Do the bent over hang and swing version, not the full range of
motion. Please see my website or YouTube channel for video. 4 total work sets.
35x20
35x20
35x20
35x19+1

Banded barbell bench press –5 sets of 5 with a 1-second pause on your chest. Use the same weight
for all sets. You shouldn’t fail on any of these sets, the reps should be explosive off your chest. Lockout on these and flex for a second! If you are not sure how to set up the bands and do these, check my website or YouTube channel for instruction. 5 total work sets. (Used a flexible red tubing on these. Enough tension to make the lockout rough.)
185x5
195x5
205x5
205x5
205x5
205x4+1

Supersetted With: (Added this SS in so I could shorten the session.)
Dumbbell swings –These are the side laterals where you tilt your head back and do a short range of motion. Use heavy weight and do 3 sets of 25 reps. Your delts will light up. 3 total work sets.
60x25
60x25
60x23+2

Regular dips – Do 2 sets of dips to failure. Let your elbows flare out, tuck your chin into your upper chest, and stretch good at the bottom. Don’t come up all the way. Keep constant tension on the pecs by coming up ¾ of the way. 2 total work sets.(Chest was smoked here......)

Didnt get in the reverse pec deck since I was short on time to get the kid to school. Blah. Will work these in with back along with Abs.

That routine looks grueling.
